Completing this quest unlocks the showjumping hobby at the stables. If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the unicorn rocking horse. You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the showjumping hobby but you won’t get the unicorn rocking horse

- Inspect unicorn jumping gate (click on show jumping gate)
- Investigate horse- 14 seconds (the white horse)
- Check unicorns horn- 24 seconds
- Talk to unicorn- 2 minutes
- Go home and call a friend- 4 minutes
- Call 2 sims to the stables
- Laugh with sim- 5 minutes
- Investigate a tree- 2 minutes 12 seconds
- Talk to sim about unicorn- 1 minute 30 seconds
- Look for unicorns on internet- 17 minutes
- Talk to a sim about shy unicorns- 2 minutes 30 seconds
- Read pooping rainbows- 8 minutes 6 seconds
- Talk to sim about the unicorn- 1 minute 30 seconds
- Bake rocky road- 12 hours (can be started early, doesn’t matter if it burns)
- Call a sim to the stables
- Leave rocky road for unicorn- 12 seconds (click on show jumping gate)
- Wait for the unicorn- 12 hours 30 minutes (click on the tree)
- Have a deep sleep (can be started early)- 6 hours 30 minutes
- Go to stables

Is the prize worth it? I really like this prize, but as there is a rocking horse already in the toddler section if you don’t complete on time I wouldn’t be too worried

I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?

What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it.
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work.

My game says there is something under construction when I try to repair the gate, what do I do?
Firstly you need to read the pop up as it tells you exactly what is under construction, once you have go there and click on it to finish building, then you will be able to repair the gate (it will be something you have built previously but probably just haven’t clicked to finish building yet!)
Can I fix the showjumping gate early?
No, you cannot fix the gate until you get the goal in this quest

First, your site is awesome and extremely helpful.
Second, I have a question about what you’ve said at the end of this post. “PLEASE NOTE: if this quest doesn’t appear for you that is because your game is no longer compatible, EA have stopped updating it with the latest quests.” I’m confused as to what you mean by that. Are you saying if it doesn’t appear then we need to download an update or do you mean that EA has stopped releasing new updates for The Sims (and we’ve missed out)?
I’ve gotten this quest so I’m OK, I’m just more concerned about the idea that EA might not do more updates. I played The Sims ages ago and there was never anything new so I gave up on it. Now that I’m back at it and it’s got tons of new (to me, at least) content, I’m really enjoying it again.

I wrote that when EA stopped updating Windows Phones with the latest version of the game for a while, they since started updating them again (I think because so many people complained)
Unfortunately I can’t tell you if they are going to stop updating other devices in the future but we can just hope that it won’t happen any time soon!

I already unlocked & cleaned the jumping area of the stables and the first task for this quest is to unlock the jumping area so what can I do so I can finish this quest so I can go on to other ones
you can’t build the showjumping arena until you start this quest, you have either built the horse tricks arena or vaulting arena, the large oval one is the showjumping one.

you need to select bake on a stove and find rocky road from the list

Hi, I started this quest a couple days ago, and to day I forget abt this quest. When I open the game, my sims was still cleaning the jumping gate venue.when I click the quest box (or something that has list of quest in the left) I can’t find this quest anymore.
Am I finished? Or run out? But my sims are still cleaning the jump gate venue. Help please, since this cleaning job is really take my sims time.
Cleaning is not part of this quest, once you unlock it you finish the quest.
That really annoying moment you start building something and you’re 37 hours away till its done and the quest only has 25 hours left but it won’t let me fix the gate since it’s already building something 😦

Hi. You help me a lot when I want to know what I need to do, how long each task in each quest takes in time and then I know how many LPs i need. Anyways, do you recommend any ways to complete quests quicker other than LPs. I’m really struggling on level 18 because the teens quest is 6 quests away and my next quest is in da clubhouse. I’m really annoyed because I really want these quests to do but can’t get to them because of hobby quests which are main quests (like the unicorn one I’m on right now) which I’m not interested in. I’m only VIP 2 in case it’s anything to do with that.

The only other way to complete them quicker is to start quest goals early, in each of the quest posts I write (can be started early) next to goals you can start early. For example, in this one you can start baking the rocky road and have a deep sleep before you get these goals, so when you are on the goal to wait for the unicorn you can have another sim in a house on their own having a deep sleep, you then need to stay away from that house until you complete the wait for unicorn goal. When you get the goal to have a deep sleep you just go to that house and the goal is complete! It will work with the bake rocky road too! Hi! I have a little question, I am on lvl 20 and have the rocking unicorn, but I did not recall doing this quest at all, I never saw a unicorn at my stables and have no unlocked the show jumping hobby. Is this a glitch or is this a perk? Btw your blog is super helpful and definitely helped me get 3 limited time prizes!
You may not have reached this main quest yet, which quest are you currently on? You have to complete main quests in order so even if you are on the correct level or above for a quest you still have to complete all quests before it before you can start this one, a list of all main quests and the order they appear can be found here: https://thegirlwhogames.blog/2014/02/11/the-sims-freeplay-main-quests/

Im at the very end of the mission where it tells me to fix the gate but i already did that & now it wont allow me to progress the mission?
Once the gate has been repaired did you click on it to complete this?
Do I have to fix the two horse paddocks before repairing the gate, and if so do I have to complete the two horse hobbies? Sorry if someone already asked these questions, I didn’t see.
