THIS EVENT IS OVER
The Wedding Belles Live Event to unlock wedding themed items, hair styles, outfits and even a wedding venue house template so your sims can get married in a proper ceremony is back for 13 days from the 30th March! If you completed this event last time it was available you will not get it again, if you started it last time but didn’t complete it you will start from where you got to last time, for example if you only had one prize pack left to buy you will only have to collect enough resources to buy that prize pack to complete the event.
If you didn’t start this event last time you will start from the beginning
Live Events are very similar to a community event but this time you don’t need help from everyone who plays the sims freeplay to unlock the prizes, there are only personal prizes! Update your game to the Grand Garages Update if you haven’t already to begin this event
Check out my Guide to Completing Live Events (including tips!) HERE!
This event is only here for 12 days and the aim of it is to collect enough arts and crafts items from the arts and crafts stations (found in the event tab of buy mode) to unlock all the items in this event
NOTE: if you did another Live Event then you will find your arts and crafts stations in your inventory (or in the house you left them at) you will only be able to use the candle ones until you unlock the other stations in this event
Can’t find your arts and crafts stations? Click on the craft station in your event tab to get the option to find your station, it will take you to the house where your stations can be found!
IF YOU UNLOCKED ALL THE STATIONS LAST TIME THE WEDDING BELLES EVENT WAS AVAILABLE YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO UNLOCK THEM AGAIN THIS TIME, YOU CAN USE THEM STRAIGHT AWAY
Want to skip the tasks list? Click here to head straight to the prizes!
Place a crafting station (find the candle station in the events tab of buy mode (or your inventory)- you can only buy 4)
Make some arts and crafts items (click on the candle station to make)- 23 seconds
This takes you to the prize progress tab (you can get to it by clicking on the wedding cake event button in the corner of the screen)
Here you will see you have collected enough items to unlock the Flower Power pack! When you unlock each pack, before the items are available in your home store you need to purchase them with the arts and crafts items you make- this goal is coming up!
Restock a crafting station (when the stock runs out you will have to restock before you can make anymore arts and crafts items)- You can restock instantly for 18 uses for 10SPs or restock for 2 uses which will take 10 seconds this time
Buy the flower power pack (click on the wedding cake event button, scroll down and click purchase- this will cost you 50 candles) NOTE: you will not get this goal if you completed it in this event last time
Use a coin flower patch (buy the coin flower patch from the event tab and select the spin plant option)
Check the daily goals (click on the wedding cake event button and find the daily goals tab- claim the ones you can!)
Remember to claim your rewards each day!
Collect bonuses (while collecting after a certain amount of time you will see the arts and crafts item appear above that sims head, click to collect the bonus item!)
Continue collecting arts and crafts items- this is the last step but the event is not over, keep collecting the arts and crafts to unlock everything!
If you want to speed up a collecting arts and crafts action it will cost you SPs, you will get the bonus gems as well if you speed it up!

34.Wedding Ceremony and Reception (Wedding Venue Template!)
You will only unlock the wedding ceremony and reception if you manage to buy all the other personal progress prizes in the time limit, the first one built is free after that they will cost simoleons. I absolutely love this house, the ceremony space in the garden is elegant, the first dancefloor in the dining room looks beautiful at night and then your sims can party the night away on the second floor!
You can build it on a standard or premium house lot, the only difference is there is a larger gap between the seating for the ceremony and the house. It isn’t often I say this but I do actually prefer the standard one:
You also unlock the industrial grill, fridge (kitchen section) and countertops (countertops section) as well as the wedding instruments and two bars (decorations section)
Watch my wedding ceremony and reception tour here:
How do you get your sims married here?
1. Your sims can already be married and still use the ceremony to get remarried or your two sims need to be engaged with the option to get married in the interactions between those two sims
2. Have your guests seated- select watch ceremony on the chairs
3. You will need someone to officiate the wedding, have this sim click on the wedding arbour and select the option to officiate wedding
4. Get the first sim into position, have this sim select wait for partner on the wedding arbour
5. Time to get married! Have the second sim select get married on the wedding arbour
6. A pop up will appear asking what how you want your sims to live in when they are married (this is the sims last name they will take)
7.They will walk down the aisle, stare into each others eyes for a few minutes, kiss and will be married!
8. If your sims weren’t already married a pop up will appear to say they are now married- you can remarry them again and again here (as long as its to the same sim!)

Constructor Coins
You earn constructor coins by:
Personal Progress prizes
Completing Daily Goals
Coin Plant Patches
Earning Construtor Coins? Previously on these events I used social points on the Mega Spin Plant to win constructor points. I earn social points by completing the cooking hobby and earning LPs, I can then turn the LPs into SPs using the social point plant on a normal garden patch- this was when it cost 5LP- the social point plant now costs 20LP so you may want to try the option below first instead:
Or you can use 450 candles for the Spin Plant (a good way to use up any spare candles) which will also earn you constructor coins but the amounts are less than they are from the Mega Spin Plant
What is the minimum and maximum amount of coins you can earn on the mega spin plant? The minimum is 10 and the maximum is 500
Laura Craft? You may have noticed at the front of one of your houses there is a board with a bubble of a person holding arts and crafts items above it, this is Laura Craft, you can buy her for real money to help you complete the event. When you buy her, you select the item you want her to make from the options: 200 candles, 300 pottery, 450 jewelry or 500 glassware (the amounts seem to differ for most of you and I have no idea why that is!) (you will unlock all the options once you have unlocked all the stations) and you will be able to collect them after 2 hours.
Do I think she is worth it? They have improved Laura Craft a lot since the first event (although it would be great if she made constructor coins) she used to be able to collect every 8 hours, they have now changed this to 2 hours so she is more useful now so if you are struggling then you may want to splash out and give her a try but remember you will only get her for this event, you will have to buy her again to use her for a live event in the future.
If I brought Laura Craft in the last event do I get her for free or do I have to buy her again? You have to buy her again for this event.
Check out my Guide to Completing Live Events (including tips!) HERE!
If I don’t complete this event this time will I have to start from the beginning when it returns? No, you will start from where you got to this time!
How many of each resource will we need?
I will add them up but firstly are the amounts needed for each pack in this post correct? I’ve completed this live event already so I didn’t want to add them all up if they have changed the amounts you need this time around
On Bride’s Hair Up (#26) the jewelry is 9,500, other than that your totals are the same!
It also looks like they changed the pack names on #18 to Supporting Cast Collection 1 (&2)
Totals from my Excel sheet are:
16,650 candles
92,135 pottery
87,200 jewelry
73,500 glassware
1,180 constructor coins
Thanks for letting me know! I have added this to the post
Is it possible to complete this event and unlock everything without spending a single penny? Please let me know. I am not rich to spend real money for games but I enjoy sims a lot even when I was little. 🙂
Live events are hard to complete in the time limit, I would recommend completing as much as you can this time and then just wait for the event to return again one day so you can finish it as you will start from where you got to next time it is available.
How long will it take for a live event to return again?
It depends as they don’t have a set time that they will return again, the makers decide when they want to bring them back.
I have a theory-
When you play the spin plant, if you press spin and then wait for the lights to be exactly when they meet at the bottom, you get a better spin. Twice in a row I got 3 ladybugs and a couple times getting 2 grasshoppers.
It’s certainly helped trying to collect the needed constructor coins!
I tried this out and it didn’t seem to make any difference for me, I still only got 1 or 2 coins 😦
Done! Didn’t spend a single penny and finished the whole event on my first try, and with 3 days to spare~. Can’t wait for the wedding hall to finish building and finally get 2 of my favorite sims married! 😁
Well done! 🙂
Before this wedding event came back on the game, I was able to obtain the “wedding ceremony” template, but with no building, as a prize. So I decided to build the reception building myself on the template, along with some of the stuff i was able to get from this event, but turns out I can’t even use the Wedding Arbor to get married, they only walk on it. I tried testing it out with a pair of engaged sims, and nothing happens, I can’t even put chairs by the arbor, so my sims can’t even “watch the wedding”. I know this doesn’t specifically has to do the live event but I was hoping someone have the same issue or knows what I’m talking about and help me out. (ps. i was only missing one prize from the event, so I couldn’t get the actually ceremony building)
Well that is a terrible prize! I would suggest contacting the makers, I don’t know if they will be able to help but it seems ridiculous if you can’t even get your sims married using that template, this post may help if you are unsure how to contact them: https://thegirlwhogames.blog/2016/05/29/the-sims-freeplay-contacting-ea-firemonkeys/
