Are you ready to save Christmas in June?! The Missing Claus Quest is back from the 17th June for 13 days. There are 13 sets of goals to complete in the 13 day time limit so there is a set of goals to complete each day, if you complete the quest in the time limit you win the gorgeous Farmhouse template!
If you completed this quest last time you won’t get it again, if you started it last time unfortunately you will have to start from the beginning this time (these are the times from the last time this quest was available, let me know if anything has changed and I will update this post when I get back from holiday!)
You have to wait between completing each set so you complete one set per day, after completing a set you have to wait for a certain amount of time before being able to continue with the quest unless you are behind then you will move straight onto the next set once you have completed the previous.

First set: Complete the first set of goals to unlock the Round Mirror (at the end of the post you can find all the information and pictures of all the prizes)
- Check calendar date at a computer- 8 minutes
- Discuss Christmas spirit with sims (4 times)- 2 hours 15 minutes (select the interaction between two sims, use 4 pairs of sims (8 sims) to complete this at the same time)
- Have 4 pairs of sims panic- 2 hours 15 minutes (select the interaction between two sims, use 4 pairs of sims (8 sims) to complete this at the same time)
- Place 5 Christmas decorations (buy 5 decorations, you can find these in the featured section of buy mode, the cheapest are the glowing reindeer that cost S500 each but there should be a free Christmas tree which also counts)
- Research snowfall- 12 minutes (computer)
- Call the ho-ho-hotline- 32 minutes (phone)
- Search for the weather expert Almanac (5 times)- 2 hours 20 minutes (bookcase, use 5 sims to complete this at the same time)
- Phone Cirrus- 3 hours 20 minutes (phone)
FIRST SET IS COMPLETE
- Wait for day 2 (come back tomorrow for the next set of goals, you need to wait a certain amount of time to start the next set, the time depends on when you completed the first set) NOTE: you will not get this goal if you are behind in completing the goals, it will go straight to the next goal once you complete the first set)

- Greet Cirrus in the park- 1 minute
- Turn on the weather machine- 18 seconds
- Have 4 snowball fights- 2 hours 15 minutes (select the interaction between two sims, use 4 pairs of sims (8 sims) to complete this at the same time)
- Build a snowman- 30 minutes (click on x at front of house)
- Speak to snowman- 15 minutes
- Call dial-a-detective- 8 minutes (phone)
- Greet detective Les Clues in the park- 25 minutes
- Explain Santa situation- 20 minutes
- Scan for Santa with Les’ telescope- 10 minutes
- Search house objects for 12 missing lenses- 5 hours (click search for lenses on items around your house)
You will need to use as many sims as you can (you can use a maximum of 8 sims) to find all the lenses to complete this task quickly

- Scan for Santa with telescope (again)- 10 minutes
- Check sleigh for clues- 1 hour 15 minutes (in park)
SECOND SET IS COMPLETE

- Investigate tracks in the park- 10 minutes
- Talk to Rudolph- 30 minutes (in the park)
- Ride Rudolph to Santa’s Workshop (select the option on Rudolph)
- Check the present machine- 1 hour 15 minutes
- Look for clues (4 times): (use 4 sims to complete this at the same time)
- Christmas Tree: Medical Appointment- 2 hours 30 minutes
- Fireplace: Shopping List- 2 hours
- Present Bench: Letter- 2 hours 30 minutes
- Letter Pile: Electricity Bill- 2 hours 30 minutes
- Talk to Rudolph- 1 hour 35 minutes
- Ride Rudolph to Santa’s Farmhouse
- Talk to the elf- 2 hours 10 minutes (in the garden)
- Ask for key- 5 hours 15 minutes
THIRD SET IS COMPLETE

- Collect key- 5 minutes
- Unlock door- 5 minutes (click on x)
- Introduce sim to Santa- 30 minutes
- Check on Mrs Claus- 2 hours 10 minutes
- Check fireplace temperature- 4 minutes (in living room)
- Look for a cure (5 times)- 2 hours (bookcase, use 5 sims to complete this at the same time)
- Grow onions at a garden patch (10 times!)- 7 hours (use 10 sims to complete this at the same time, if you do have some spare sims I would suggest starting this early at home but make sure you stay away from the house until you get this goal otherwise it won’t complete)
- Cook soup- 12 minutes (oven) this is going to be a very oniony soup!
- Give Mrs Claus soup- 1 hour
FOURTH SET IS COMPLETE
- Wait for day 5 (come back tomorrow for the next set of goals, you need to wait a certain amount of time to start the next set, the time depends on when you completed the fourth set) NOTE: you will not get this goal if you are behind in completing the goals, it will go straight to the next goal once you complete the fourth set)

- Call party troopers- 1 hour 40 minutes (phone, use a 3 star phone at home rather than the 1 star phone at the farmhouse to complete this quicker)

- Ponder ways to find truffles (6 times)- 4 hours 30 minutes (couch, use 6 sims to complete this at the same time)
- Plead with Princess- 15 minutes (Princess is the pig)
- Collect truffles on Santa’s farm (4 times)- 8 hours 15 minutes (click on the 4 tree branches around the farm- GLITCH: can’t find the branches? - Give truffles to Barbara Yaga- 5 minutes
- Collect speckled eggs- 35 minutes
- Give speckled eggs to Barbara Yaga- 15 minutes

CAN’T GIVE MRS CLAUS THE SOUP? Santa is probably in the way, try having another sim talking to him away from Mrs Claus’ side of the bed. If you still cannot complete this try force closing the game and trying again
- Discuss next steps with Santa- 15 minutes
- Discuss missing elves with Frank- 2 hours 15 minutes
- Feed chickens at Santa’s farmhouse (4 times)- 8 hours 15 minutes (select feed chickens for Frank on the chicken coop with 4 sims)
- Ask Frank about the missing elves- 15 minutes
- Ride Rudolph to the park
- Try to wake the sleeping elf- 5 hours 15 minutes (you’ll find the elf on a bench)

- Unpack boxes (4 times)- 4 hours (use 4 sims to complete this at the same time) GLITCH: the boxes aren’t showing- this issue should be fixed now
- Sort letter pile- 5 minutes
- Ask Mrs Claus about managing letters- 5 minutes (use Rudolph to get back to the farmhouse)
- Decrypt naughty and nice app (12 times!)- 6 hours (computer, if you can use 12 sims to complete this at the same time)
- Calculate presents and coal- 8 minutes (computer)
- Give Dave the new numbers- 15 minutes (go back to the workshop on Rudolph)
- Dig up coal (13 times)- 5 hours (there are 4 x around the workshop so 4 sims can complete this at one time)

- Talk to Dave about coal quota- 5 minutes

- Change clothes for Santa’s pre flight feast (select browse clothes on a wardrobe then click the exit button, you don’t actually need to change their clothes)
- Ride Rudolph to Santa’s farmhouse (find Rudolph in the park for the final time)
- Join Santa’s feast (6 sims)- 12 hours (select the option on the table in the garden at the farmhouse using 6 sims)
- Say farewell to Santa and Mrs Claus- 4 hours 15 minutes (select the option on Santa)
- Send all sims home

Thirteenth Set: Farmhouse and A-Frame Roofing
You will be able to build the Farmhouse on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free, after that the cost in simoleons depends on how many houses you have already built
NOTE: it is not possible to build a house with the veranda (roofed porch) it is currently only available on the Farmhouse
The only difference between the Farmhouse on a standard and a premium is the garden and one different object in the basement. You still get the chicken coop, table and barn on the premium like you do on the standard, you just get an extra picket fenced area on the premium:
The standard comes with a candle in the basement and the premium has a lamp to match the one on the other table:
I think I prefer this house on the standard rather than the premium as I don’t think we really need the extra picket fenced area that you get with the premium

Im on the part where you look for the truffles and theres no branches anywhere on the farm or even an X nothing. I tried clicking everything Help!

I’m up to Sixth Set – Collect truffles on Santa’s farm (4 times)- 8 hours 15 minutes (click on the 4 tree branches around the farm) – I don’t see any tree branches. I’ve clicked everywhere, Restarted Sims Freeplay numerous times. The previous step I got the “quick complete video”. What do I do, as I can’t progress?

So the truffles don’t show up at the farmhouse for me!! I don’t know why, I have tried exiting the game, making all my Sims leave and then bringing a new sim via reindeer from the park. Still nothing. There’s no updates that I need for the app, my device is fine, and back in December when I did this I didn’t have this problem. Help please!

Is anyone else having issues when “searching for truffles “. The branches are no where to be found. I have backed up and saved the game and uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing has changed. I’m losing time at this point. I missed getting the farmhouse last time by 15 minutes because I didn’t have enough laps to finish the dinner with Santa. Very frustrated 😖

I am on seventh set of the missing clause event 2019. Your info says to look under limbs for truffles. There are no limbs on my game. I have tapped trees, bushes, fences etc. nothing.

Hey! I’m doing the missing Claus quest right now and I’m on the “collect truffles” task. I’ve looked at your blog pictures and videos and do not see the tree branches anywhere on my screen when I go to sims FreePlay. Have you heard of anyone else having this issue? I’ve exited the game a few times but still no tree branches anywhere! Let me know if you have any thoughts/suggestions. Thanks, love the blog (:

I am trying to find the 4 truffles and my game is not showing any limbs on Santa’s farmhouse to pick up. I have tried on and off all day. Still can not see any limbs. So I have lost a whole day. What can I do?

Help. . . The sticks/branches to the ‘Collect Truffles on Santa’s Farm’ task are not appearing so I can’t complete the quest. I’ve tried multiple different things to get it to work but it’s just not activating. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. (Which set me back a day) redoing previous quest tasks. Ahhhh help!!

I did this quest when it came out last year, but unfortunately I couldn’t finish it. I just needed the last two prizes. I think it’s unfair that they make us do the whole quest all over again and whats more, we’re not even getting the previous prizes again so we’re doing all the work for nothing. Nevertheless, I decided to continue so as I may finish the quest this time around. I was right on track and didn’t fall behind. Well guess what? The branches to find the truffles are no where to be found!! I’ve done everything I could think of to reset the game, even deleting the game ( after saving to cloud) and still nothing. Makes me really angry.
I think what makes me most angry, besides this glitch, is that I’m beginning to feel that the developers are beginning to try to squeeze as much money as they can from us. I’ve quit other games for this same reason. Timed quests are getting more and more difficult to finish, many of the prizes ( after the first free one) are outrageously expensive, some costing hundreds of thousands or ridiculous amounts of LP or SP. I’ve been playing for years and have tons of money and lots of LP and SP, but if I was just starting out in this game, I think I would pass on it when I realized that it is a somewhat unfair game as it plays out now. I wonder how new players could ever advance in this game?

I remember when I started playing about 8 years ago. Thing were not as expensive as they are now. The Fire Pole for example! I think it was no more then 10k at first! I cant stand it. I work a 12hr job where I cant have my phone I almost ever finish the Quest!

This is so awful that after waiting 6 months for this to return that the game would malfunction right in the middle of the Missing Claus rerun. But I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

Has anyone had any luck with customer support? They just told me they’re working on it. Meanwhile, I’m running out of time to complete the event. This is the third time in a row I’ve had a glitch that they’ve been unable to fix & just keep telling me they’re working on it. Almost makes me not want to play anymore.

I am so anoyed as I was doing this task and then ended up deleting my sims game to only have a game update of a sims game I was no longer playing it was of a previous game. I lost so many levels and so many great houses and tasks that were done only to start all over again due to this glitch 😡 not happy at all
I am very unhappy that they changed the price of the fireplace from 10 SP to 40!

I have caught up to day 10 (thanks to the update and the extra LP), but I am now unable to see the boxes at Santa’s Workshop that my sims need to unpack – am I missing something, or is this another glitch?

After the day 6 truffles fiasco was finally fixed, I got all caught up to day 10 and…. now there are no boxes to unpack. *sigh*

I am on day ten now, after the last glitch. There is another one you cannot unpack boxes, they are supposed to be in the front but there is none

I can’t unpack 4 boxes for Day 10 because there are no boxes there to unpack(the first task)! I wonder if other people have the same issue, too?

😡😡another glitch! I was going to give up on this stupid quest, but when I saw they gave us 125 LPs, I thought I’d give it one more shot. 😡😡😡. I used 16 LPs to advance the “feeding of the chickens” and it doesn’t work!! It takes your LPs but it doesn’t recognize it as finished in the quest. Don’t waste your LPs.
You also can’t unpack boxes on day 10 as they aren’t there so this quest has been a complete disaster!
Did something Change because I only got 11 days to complete this quest but all the times and formatting is the same?
You must have started late, if you don’t start in a certain amount of time you won’t get the full time limit.
I just finished the quest. How do I make it stop snowing? The weather machine has vanished from the park.
It should stop snowing once the quest has ended for everyone.
