The Secret Winter Wonderland Quest is back from the 11th April as a Player Favourite Quest, it was previously available as the 2015 Christmas Quest. You will be able to start this quest between the 11th-20th April to get the full time limit.

These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the event in the active tasks tab to start:

You will then have 12 days to complete this quest to unlock the gingerbread house template. Each day there are a set of goals to complete to unlock icy furniture so there are 12 sets of goals to complete before the time is up.

If you completed this last time you will not get this quest again, if you started it last time but didn’t complete it you will have to start from the beginning this time but you will get a free one of each prize you have already unlocked. If you purchased the gingerbread house template from the online store but haven’t unlocked all prior prizes you will be able to complete this quest to unlock those.

You may have to wait between completing each set so you complete one set per day (this is different each time it returns, sometimes after completing a set you have to wait for a certain amount of time before being able to continue with the quest unless you are behind then you will move straight onto the next set once you have completed the previous whereas other times you can go straight on to the next set of goals once the previous is complete without waiting.

First Set: Complete to unlock ice themed floors, walls and roofs

Call a sim (on the phone, select Discuss Christmas lights)- 48 seconds

Buy a reindeer light (outdoor decorations section)

Turn reindeer light on- 30 seconds

Check the hum in a refrigerator- 8 seconds

Check a refrigerator again- 3 hours 40 minutes

Have a deep sleep (in a bed)- 6 hours 30 minutes (can be started early)

FIRST SET IS COMPLETE

Second Set: Complete to unlock ice themed dining table, chairs and candelabras

Investigate the snow- 1 minute (x by front of house)

Have 2 sims in the same house
Have a snowball fight- 15 minutes (select interaction between two sims)

Investigate the shadow- 1 hour 15 minutes (x by front of house)

Say hello to the Spirte- 10 minutes

Ask Spirte what’s happening- 2 hours 15 minutes

Place Icy Wallpaper- Purple Frost from wall section of home store

Place Icy Flooring- Frosted Glaze from floor section of home store

Check for the portal- 2 hours 40 minutes (fridge)

Set fridge to coldest- 7 hours

SECOND SET IS COMPLETE

Third Set: Complete to unlock ice themed windows and doors

Check for portal- 7 seconds (fridge)

Take it all in- 5 minutes (click on item at the ice palace)

Examine the ice palace archway- 45 minutes

Ask Spirtes about pickaxe- 1 hour 15 minutes

Find the pickaxe- 1 minute (location can be seen in the picture below)

Chip away at the archway ice- 3 hours 15 minutes

Meet the Ice Queen- 1 minute

Receive antifreeze spray- 4 hours 15 minutes (Ice Queen)

Go home and deep sleep- 6 hours 30 minutes (can be started early)

THIRD SET IS COMPLETE

Fourth Set: Complete to unlock ice themed coffee table and bookcase

Talk to the Ice Queen- 1 minute (travel to ice palace using the fridge)

Try the door to Jacks room- 5 minutes

Ask about Jack’s room- 1 hour 15 minutes (talk to Sprite)

Look at the bridge- 2 hours 15 minutes (click on X)

Ask Sprites about snow belt- 3 hours 35 minutes

Find the snow belt in the park- 48 seconds (thinking man statue)

Give the snow Spirtes the belt- 1 hour 15 minutes (at the ice palace)

Use the snow generator- 4 hours 55 minutes

Test the bridge- 7 hours 15 minutes

FOURTH SET IS COMPLETE

Fifth Set: Complete to unlock ice themed sofas

Look for the snowman- 2 minutes (click on the x)

Ask Sprites about the snowman- 1 hour 15 minutes

Roll a ball of snow at the ice palace- 2 hours 15 minutes (click on the x)

Roll a small ball of snow at the palace- 4 hours 15 minutes (click on the x) (how does it take longer to roll a smaller ball?!)

Choose a snowman nose- 25 seconds (click on the sprite and select any option)

Place the nose on the snowman- 10 hours 15 minutes

Turn on a firepit (if you don’t have a firepit you need to buy one from the outdoor decorations section and place it at one of your sims houses to turn on)

FIFTH SET IS COMPLETE

Sixth Set: Complete to unlock ice themed bathroom items

Knit a scarf on a couch- 12 minutes (select the colour you want)

Travel to the ice palace- 7 seconds (fridge)
Put the scarf on the snowman- 45 minutes

Look under a bed for a hat- 1 hour

Choose a hat for the snowman- 48 seconds (select any hat option)

Put the snowman’s hat on- 1 minute

Say hello to the snowman- 3 hours 15 minutes

Speak to the Ice Queen- 4 hours 15 minute
Dance for the snowman- 8 hours 15 minutes

SIXTH SET IS COMPLETE

Seventh Set: Complete to unlock ice themed counters

Say hello to the snowman- 1 minute
Ask the snowman where Jack’s key is- 2 minutes
Build up the snowman’s confidence- 10 minutes (choose ‘your spirit is strength’ or ‘kindness is strength!’)

Build up the snowman’s confidence- 1 hours 15 minute (choose ‘you’d even look good naked or ‘your scarf looks suave!’)

Build up the snowman’s confidence- 2 hours 15 minutes (I don’t know if it matters which option you choose although ‘Jack needs our help’ is the only positive one!)

Tap Jacks room door- 1 second

Find Jacks wand- 4 hours 15 minutes (look in the wardrobe)

Show snow globe to the Ice Queen- 11 hours 15 minutes

SEVENTH SET IS COMPLETE

Eighth Set: Complete to unlock an ice themed fridge

Form a plan with the Queen- 2 minutes
Go to a sims home (use portal to get back)

Collect tree frost- 30 minutes (from a tree)

Rinse magic frost in a sink- 12 minutes

Take frost to the Ice Queen- 2 hours 15 minutes (use fridge to get back to ice palace)

Watch the Christmas forest lights- 6 hours 16 minutes

Speak with the Ice Queen- 10 hours 15 minutes

EIGHTH SET IS COMPLETE

Ninth Set: Complete to unlock ice themed stove and fire pit

Recruit a snow Sprite- 4 minutes

Reassure a snow Sprite- 30 minutes (I chose ‘you’re much smarter’)

Go to the park
Find Jack in the park: you will find Jack in the thinking man statue- 1 hour

Get encouraged by snow Sprites- 2 hours 15 minutes

Tap the park thinking man statue with the wand- 3 seconds
Plead with Jack- 45 minutes

Ask snow Sprites for a distraction- 4 hours 15 minutes

Sneak up on Jack- 1 second (if blue footprints appear try having your sim move away from Jack before selecting the task or send a sim to the ice palace, they should follow then go back to the park)

Build a fire to defrost the snow sprites- 11 hours 25 minutes (click on x)

NINTH SET IS COMPLETE

Check on the snow Sprites- 2 minutes (in the park)

Go to the ice palace (using a fridge)
Speak to the Ice Queen- 2 hours 15 minutes
Use the snow machine- 4 hours 15 minutes

Get another firepit (4000 from the outdoor section)

Turn on the fire pit
Return to the ice palace
Speak to the Ice Queen- 6 hours 15 minutes
Build the Ice Queen’s strength- 9 hours 15 minutes (click on Sprite)

TENTH SET IS COMPLETE

Call to Jack- 10 minutes

Listen to the Ice Queen’s plan- 30 minutes

Ask the Ice Queen to fire- 10 minutes

Build power with the Queen in the park- 2 hours 15 minutes (on the x)

Ask Jack what he is doing- 4 hours 15 minutes

Tell the Queen about Jack- 6 hours 15 minutes

Admire the moment- 8 hours 15 minutes

ELEVENTH SET IS COMPLETE

Twelfth Set: complete this FINAL set to unlock the gingerbread house (you won’t be able to get the gingerbread house if you don’t complete in the time limit)

Go to the ice palace (fridge)
Investigate- 1 hour 15 minutes (click on x)

Party at the ice palace- 2 hours 16 minutes (click on the ice queen) it does say you can invite more sims but can be completed with just one sim

Thank the Ice Queen- 8 hours 15 minutes

Hug the Ice Queen goodbye- 10 hours 15 minutes

Leave the ice palace (use the portal)
