This guide is to help you decide which life dream you want your geeky sim to have at each life stage, in the tables below you can see the life dream, how to complete it and the percentage the bar will increase each time for each orb you are working towards.
Times may vary depending on the star rating an item has and whether or not your sim is inspired but these don’t affect the percentage increase

If you choose the work like dream (scientist for geek, actor for entertainer, etc.), they earn as much life dream xp as the 1 day options, but in fewer hours (4-8). Which leaves the rest of the day for them to do other tasks.
I found that the “make fan movies” is not worth your time, it only filled my progression bar by 5% whereas the objectives that involve sending them to work moved me up 11%. Granted, you can only send them to work once a day, but with my movie making Sim getting only 10% over 22 hours of activity, it really doesn’t seem worth it.

All of the other bed options, longest is hibernate, count towards the “I want to pretend I am in a crygononic sleep in a spaceship bed” life dream.
So they do, which means there is no reason at all for the cryogenics option on the bed, thanks for letting me know

buy a teddy from the toddler section (costs 20LPs) select the option super bear.
