The Sims Freeplay- Chocolate Egg Chase Quest

The Chocolate Egg Chase Quest is back as a Player Favourite Quest. Which means you will be able to start this quest between the 15th-24th April to get the full 7 day time limit, if you complete this quest in the time limit to find all the eggs you will earn bunny onesies for your adult and toddler sims! These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the event in the active tasks tab to start:

If you completed this quest last time you can do it again (you will get currency for completing each set) if you started it last time but didn’t finish it you have to start from the beginning this time but again you can get the currency for the sets you already have completed.

First Set: complete the first set of goals to unlock the adult pyjamas (at the end of the post you can find pictures of all the prizes) If you completed this set last time you will earn 5LP this time

  • Go to the park
  • Talk to the bunny in the park- 1 minute

  • Offer Cottontail (bunny) help- 5 minutes

  • Read springtime bunnies- 48 minutes (on a bookcase)

  • Bake chocolate chip cookies- 1 minute (select the baking option on a stove)

  • Tell Cottontail it was cookies- 5 minutes

  • Wash off chocolate- 5 hours (using a sink)

  • Accept Cottontails challenge- 5 minutes

  • Place the egg hunters case (can be found in your inventory or home store under the decorations tab)

Can’t find the case? If you have already placed it you will find it in the house that flashes between your sims face and an egg symbol

  • Investigate the egg hunters case- 25 minutes

  • Search for eggs- 4 hours 30 minutes (click on an object at your house)

  • Examine the egg hunters case (click on it)

The aim is collect all the eggs by completing this quest to fill the case!

FIRST SET COMPLETE!

Second Set: complete the second set of goals to unlock the baby and preteen pyjamas. If you completed this set last time you will earn 10LP this time

  • Check on Cottontail- 5 minutes

  • Research bunny food- 36 minutes (on a computer)

  • Find a bologna sandwich- 5 hours (in the fridge)

  • Give bunny food- 3 seconds (to Cottontail)

  • Watch ‘Springtime Shows’- 8 hours

  • Search for eggs- 4 hours 30 minutes

NOTE: you need to find 3 eggs to complete this goal and you can have up to 3 sims searching for eggs at one time

You don’t find an egg every time though:

You can ask Cottontail for help for 22 hours and at the end of the 22 hours he should find you an egg, I believe he will find you one every time- he did every time I tried!

  • Hug Cottontail- 5 minutes

  • Watch Cottontail- 5 hours 15 minutes

SECOND SET COMPLETE!

Third Set: complete the third set of goals to unlock the senior and teen pyjamas. If you completed this set last time you will earn 10LP this time

  • Ask what’s wrong- 1 minute (if a sim is asking cottontail for help he will not appear at the house you are currently at, you need to finish asking for help first)

  • Comfort Cottontail- 5 minutes

  • Think about Cottontail’s fears- 4 hours (on a seat)

  • Research simple games- 12 minutes (on a computer)

  • Play patty cake- 4 hours 15 minutes

  • Look at the egg collection- 5 minutes

  • Say you’re ready- 5 minutes

  • Search for eggs- 4 hours 30 minutes each (you need to find 6 eggs this time)

THIRD SET COMPLETE!

If you don’t put the dressing gown on your male adults they can just wear the shorts

The Sims Freeplay- Ghost Flustered Quest

The Ghost Flustered Halloween Quest is back as a Player Favourite Quest, which means you will be able to start this quest between the 2nd-13th March to get the full 9 day time limit. These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the quest in the active tasks tab to start:

Complete this quest in the 9 day time limit to unlock the Halloween Sleepwear for all your sims to wear!

There are 5 sets of goals to complete, each set of goals you complete earns you a prize, the first four unlock a body paint for all your sims and the last set unlocks body paint and the sleepwear. If you completed this quest before you won’t be able to complete it again, if you started it but didn’t finish it last time you will start from the beginning but you will get 5LP when you complete each set you already completed

First set: Complete the first set of goals to unlock the red body paint for all your sims

  • Answer the phone- 48 seconds

  • Calm sim on a phone- 40 minutes

  • Search a home lot- 1 hour 40 minutes (click on candy pile at front of house)

  • Go to the park
  • Discuss paranormal activity (select option on Wizard)- 4 hours 10 minutes

  • Discuss paranormal scene findings (you’ll find the Wizard at one of your houses)- 1 hour 40 minutes

  • Travel to the Wizards cottage (click on the wizard)

  • View ghosts in crystal ball- 2 hours 30 minutes

  • Discuss stopping ghosts with Wizard Wickham (go home first)- 5 hours 50 minutes

YOU CAN NOW FIND THE RED BODY PAINT IN THE WARDROBE

Second set: Complete the second set of goals to unlock the yellow body paint for all your sims

  • Apply red body paint from a wardrobe (select browse clothes on a wardrobe, find the body paint tab and click on the red paint to apply it to that sim)

  • Trick or treat with 5 sims (select the interaction between 5 PAIRS of sims (10 sims), one sim in each pair needs to be wearing the red body paint)- 4 hours 10 minutes

Still confused? You can either:

  1. Have a sim with red body paint select the interaction to trick or treat with another sim, do this 5 times with those 2 sims, this is the longest option and I wouldn’t recommend it
  2. Have 5 pairs of sims (10 sims), have 5 of them wearing the body paint and then select the interaction to trick or treat with another sim without red body paint on, do this with all 10 sims so you are doing this 5 times all at once to complete it quicker

  • Talk to Ghoulio the Ghost- 10 hours 50 minutes

  • Plant corn- 20 minutes (using a garden patch, can be started early)
  • Give corn to Ghoulio- 4 hours 10 minutes

  • Grow watermelon- 1 hour (using a garden patch, can be started early)
  • Give watermelon to Ghoulio- 9 hours 10 minutes

  • Ask Ghoulio for help- 4 hours 10 minutes

YOU CAN NOW FIND THE YELLOW BODY PAINT IN THE WARDROBE

Third set: Complete the third set of goals to unlock the blue body paint for all your sims

  • Apply yellow body paint from a wardrobe (select browse clothes on a wardrobe, find the body paint tab and click on the yellow paint to apply it to that sim)

  • Trick or treat with 5 sims (select the interaction between 5 PAIRS of sims (10 sims), one sim in each pair needs to be wearing the yellow body paint)- 6 hours 40 minutes

This task can no longer be completed quicker with preteens!

  • Give Hack scaring advice- 12 hours 30 minutes

  • Go to the park
  • Talk scares- 50 minutes (click on Hack)

  • Approach statue- 40 minutes each (you need to complete this 3 times but 3 sims cannot complete this at the same time, you can have one sim complete it 3 times)

  • Ask Hack for help- 2 hours 30 minutes

YOU CAN NOW FIND THE BLUE BODY PAINT IN THE WARDROBE

Fourth set: Complete the fourth set of goals to unlock the green body paint for all your sims

  • Select blue body paint from a wardrobe (select browse clothes on a wardrobe, find the body paint tab and click on the blue paint to apply it to that sim)

  • Trick or treat with 5 sims (select the interaction between 5 PAIRS of sims (10 sims), one sim in each pair needs to be wearing the blue body paint)- 4 hours 10 minutes

This task can no longer be completed quicker with preteens!

  • Talk hopes and dreams- 7 hours 30 minutes (click on Warts)

  • Apply body paint to Warts- 5 hours 50 minutes (click on Warts again)

  • Ask Warts for help- 50 minutes

YOU CAN NOW FIND THE GREEN BODY PAINT IN THE WARDROBE

Fifth set: Final set- unlocks more body paint and the sleepwear for all life stages

  • Select green body paint from a wardrobe (select browse clothes on a wardrobe, find the body paint tab and click on the green paint to apply it to that sim)

  • Find last ghost-2 hours 30 minutes (click on Warts)

  • Trick or treat with 5 sims (select the interaction between 5 PAIRS of sims (10 sims), one sim in each pair needs to be wearing the green body paint)- 9 hours 10 minutes

This task can no longer be completed quicker with preteens!

  • Reason with Capsworth- 5 hours 50 minutes

  • Pursue Capsworth to the park (go to the park)
  • Interrupt Capsworth- 50 minutes

  • Study at candy stash- 4 hours 10 minutes

  • Reveal truth- 10 hours 50 minutes

  • Speak to Wizard Wickham- 2 hours 30 minutes (click on wizard and select request backup)

  • Go to the Wizards cottage (click on Wizard)

  • Listen to ghosts- 15 hours 50 minutes

  • Thank ghosts- 4 hours 10 minutes

  • Hug Ghoulio- 1 day 1 hour

  • Leave Wizards cottage (you can use the crystal ball to leave or leave using the simtracker)

QUEST IS COMPLETE! YOU CAN NOW FIND MORE BODY PAINT AND THE SLEEPWEAR IN THE WARDROBE!

You cannot complete this quest or earn the prizes once the quest is over

Prizes: Body Paint

Once you complete the quest you will unlock the pink, orange, purple and grey body paints. You can find all the body paints in the body paint section for every life stage:

You can see each of the body paints below on the sleepwear pictures

How do I remove the body paint? Once you have applied the body paint click on the colour you previously applied to remove it and go back to a normal skin colour!

Prizes: Sleepwear

You can find the sleepwear in the sleepwear section for all age groups, your sims will change into the sleepwear when going to sleep or you can select change into sleepwear on a wardrobe

The HANS On Quest is back as a Player Favourite Quest. Which means you will be able to start this quest between the 16th-27th February to get the full 7 day time limit, if you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock dishwashers and HANS (Home Automation Network System) to dim the lighting in your sims houses and change the colour of the lights! These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the event in the active tasks tab to start:

  • Talk to Professor Hans Free- 30 seconds

  • Consider helping the Professor- 41 minutes (on a park bench)

  • Agree to help the Professor- 2 hours 15 minutes

  • Sleep on some ideas- 2 hours 40 minutes (bed)

  • Sanity check ideas- 1 hour 26 minutes (on a computer)

  • Watch ‘talking tech’ on tv- 3 hours 10 minutes

  • Discuss ideas with the Professor- 3 hours 15 minutes

  • Install HANS on a computer- 1 hour 44 minutes

  • Inspect computer- 3 hours 10 minutes

  • Report to the Professor- 4 hours 35 minutes

  • Discuss solution with the Professor- 5 hours 55 minutes

  • Get clarity from the Professor- 4 hours 55 minutes

  • Find 20 parts in house objects- 2 hours (click find parts on items around your house)

You will need to use as many sims as you can (you can use a maximum of 8 sims) to find all the parts to complete this task quickly

TIP: if you speed up with LP you will find more parts than if you just wait for it to complete.Need LP? Read this post on how to earn LP quickly!

  • Make the HANS transmitter- 6 hours 26 minutes (click on x at front of house)

  • Plug HANS transmitter into computer- 7 hours 30 minutes

FIRST SET OF GOALS COMPLETE!

  • Wait for HANS to boot- if you take less than 3 days to complete this set then you will have to wait the rest of the 3 days until you can move onto the next set, for example if the first set takes you 50 hours to complete the wait time will be 22 hours (so the exact time varies depending on how long it takes you to complete the previous tasks in this quest) OR click on the orange fast forward button to use 10 LP to skip the waiting time and move straight onto the next task

If you take more than 3 days to complete all the previous tasks then it should go straight on to the second set without having to wait

Second Set: Complete the second set of goals to earn 15 Social Points

  • Vent to a sim- 1 hour 15 minutes (select the interaction between two sims)

  • Consider Professor’s design- 2 hours 40 minutes (on a couch)

  • Discuss power source- 3 hours 55 minutes (you need to complete this 5 times so use 5 pairs of sims (10 sims) to complete this quickly)

  • Read ‘Geological Records’ from a bookcase- 4 hours 30 minutes

  • Dig for dimlite ore in park- 5 hours 30 minutes (click on x)

  • Add dimlite to HANS transmitter- 1 hour 8 minutes (using a computer)

  • Respond to mysterious voice- 4 hours 10 minutes (computer)

  • Have a cold shower- 2 hours 40 minutes

  • Speak to HANS- 2 hours (computer)

  • Talk to HANS about ice cream- 3 hours 50 minutes (computer)

  • Have a selfie with HANS- 1 hour 50 minutes (computer)

  • Befriend HANS on simbook- 2 hours 40 minutes (you need to do this 8 times so have 8 sims completing this at once to complete it quickly)

  • Teach HANS about lighting- 4 hours 10 minutes (computer)

  • Confront HANS- 3 hours 50 minutes (computer)

  • Call ‘computer whisperer hotline’ on a phone- 4 hours 30 minutes

  • Discuss problem with Susan Sparks- 6 hours 5 minutes (she will appear at your sims house)

SECOND SET OF GOALS COMPLETE!

  • Give parts to Susan Sparks- 15 minutes (can’t find Susan? Check all your sims houses, she will hopefully show up at one of them!)

  • Get HANS to dim lighting (select option on computer)

  • Get HANS to change light colour (select option on computer)

  • Turn off HANS lighting (select option on computer)

  • Deliver news about HANS- 30 minutes (talk to the Professor in the park)

  • Beg to the Professor- 45 minutes

  • Call Susan for help- 1 hour 26 minutes (using a phone)

  • Download HANS to cell phone- 14 minutes (using a computer)

  • Convince the Professor- 1 hour 15 minutes (go back to the park to find him)

  • Present HANS to the Professor- 2 hours 15 minutes

  • Discuss HANS’ wish with the Professor- 2 hours 25 minutes

  • Thank Susan Sparks- 2 hours 55 minutes (Susan will appear at the park)

  • Take photo with the Professor and Susan- 2 hours 5 minutes (click on x at park)

  • Say farewell to the Professor and Susan- 4 hours 10 minutes (click on the Professor)

Prize: HANS Panel and Dishwashers

Where can I find them? The HANS Panel is in the electronics section and the dishwashers can be found in the kitchen section of the home store

How much do they cost? The first HANS Panel is free, after this they cost 15LP each. The Stainless Steel Dishwasher costs S150,000 and the Brown Black Dishwasher costs S26,000

Is it worth it?

HANS Panel- You can use the HANS panel to open and close the curtains/blinds in your house, dim the lights and change the colour of your house lights. I am not really sure what the point of changing the colours is but being able to open and close the blinds all at once is a great time saver!

You can dim the lighting by 25%, 50% and 75%:

You can change the house lights colour to Yellow, Red, Blue and Green:

Dishwashers- It is worth completing this quest in the time limit just for the dishwashers! They are amazing! For all of you who know the annoyance of completing the cooking hobby and having hundreds of plates laying around that have to be cleaned up individually this is a must! Just select load all plates on the dishwasher and they will all disappear!

Once you have used the dishwasher you need to wait an hour before you can use it again:

The Sims Freeplay- Missing Claus Quest

Firstly sorry for the late post, my internet stopped working on the 9th and it has just been fixed. The Missing Claus Quest is back as a Player Favourite Quest which means you will be able to start this quest between the 11th-17th November to get the full 13 day time limit. These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the event in the active tasks tab to start:

There are 13 sets of goals to complete in the 13 day time limit so there is a set of goals to complete each day, if you complete the quest in the time limit you win the gorgeous Farmhouse template!

If you completed this quest last time you won’t get it again, if you started it last time unfortunately you will have to start from the beginning this time (these are the times from the last time this quest was available, let me know if anything has changed and I will update this post)

You may have to wait between completing each set so you complete one set per day, after completing a set you have to wait for a certain amount of time before being able to continue with the quest unless you are behind then you will move straight onto the next set once you have completed the previous. (sometimes when these quests return you don’t have to wait you will just move straight onto the next set of goals)

  • Search for the weather expert Almanac (5 times)- 2 hours 20 minutes (bookcase, use 5 sims to complete this at the same time)

  • Phone Cirrus- 3 hours 20 minutes (phone)

  • Greet Cirrus in the park- 1 minute

  • Have 4 snowball fights- 2 hours 15 minutes  (select the interaction between two sims, use 4 pairs of sims (8 sims) to complete this at the same time)

  • Build a snowman- 30 minutes (click on x at front of house)

  • Speak to snowman- 15 minutes

  • Call dial-a-detective- 8 minutes (phone)

  • Greet detective Les Clues in the park- 25 minutes

  • Explain Santa situation- 20 minutes

  • Scan for Santa with Les’ telescope- 10 minutes

  • Search house objects for 12 missing lenses- 5 hours (click search for lenses on items around your house)

You will need to use as many sims as you can (you can use a maximum of 8 sims) to find all the lenses to complete this task quickly

  • Scan for Santa with telescope (again)- 10 minutes

  • Check sleigh for clues- 1 hour 15 minutes (in park)

  • Look for clues (4 times): (use 4 sims to complete this at the same time)
    • Christmas Tree: Medical Appointment- 2 hours 30 minutes
    • Fireplace: Shopping List- 2 hours
    • Present Bench: Letter- 2 hours 30 minutes
    • Letter Pile: Electricity Bill- 2 hours 30 minutes

  • Talk to Rudolph- 1 hour 35 minutes

  • Ride Rudolph to Santa’s Farmhouse

  • Talk to the elf- 2 hours 10 minutes (in the garden)

  • Ask for key- 5 hours 15 minutes

THIRD SET IS COMPLETE

No need to wait this time around, you will move straight onto the next set!

  • Check fireplace temperature- 4 minutes (in living room)

  • Look for a cure (5 times)- 2 hours (bookcase, use 5 sims to complete this at the same time)

  • Grow onions at a garden patch (10 times!)- 7 hours (use 10 sims to complete this at the same time, if you do have some spare sims I would suggest starting this early at home but make sure you stay away from the house until you get this goal otherwise it won’t complete)
  • Cook soup- 12 minutes (oven) this is going to be a very oniony soup!

  • Give Mrs Claus soup- 1 hour

FOURTH SET IS COMPLETE

No need to wait this time around, you will move straight onto the next set!

Fifth set: Complete the fifth set of goals to unlock the Wildflowers Hedge Pack

  • Talk to the Ice Queen- 30 minutes

  • Introduce the Ice Queen to the pug- 2 hours 15 minutes

  • Discuss Mrs Claus’ condition with the Ice Queen- 1 hour 35 minutes

  • Watch Wicked Dishes on TV (8 times)- 6 hours (use 8 sims to complete this at the same time)

  • Call party troopers- 1 hour 40 minutes (phone, use a 3 star phone at home rather than the 1 star phone at the farmhouse to complete this quicker)

FIFTH SET IS COMPLETE

No need to wait this time around, you will move straight onto the next set!

  • Decrypt naughty and nice app (12 times!)- 6 hours (computer, if you can use 12 sims to complete this at the same time)

  • Give Dave the new numbers- 15 minutes (go back to the workshop on Rudolph)

Twelfth set: Complete the twelfth set to unlock the Rustic Furniture Pack

  • Turn off the present making machine- 10 minutes

  • Calm Santa down- 1 hour 15 minutes

  • Check the crashed sleigh- 45 minutes (in the park)

  • Search for 9 missing sleigh parts- 7 hours, 7 hours 30 minutes or 8 hours 30 minutes (click search for missing sleigh parts on items around the park or at a sims home)

You will need to use as many sims as you can (you can use a maximum of 4 sims) to find all the parts to complete this task quickly

Thirteenth set: Complete the final set to unlock the Farmhouse and A-Frame Roofing

  • Talk to Les Clues in the park- 5 minutes

  • Install the final part in the sleigh- 30 minutes

  • Call the Ice Queen from a phone- 3 hours 20 minutes

  • Ask the Ice Queen to charge the frost capacitor- 2 hours 15 minutes (in the park)

  • Fly the sleigh to Santa’s workshop

  • Talk to Dave- 30 minutes

  • Send all sims home from Santa’s workshop
  • Change clothes for Santa’s pre flight feast (select browse clothes on a wardrobe then click the exit button, you don’t actually need to change their clothes)

  • Ride Rudolph to Santa’s farmhouse (find Rudolph in the park for the final time)

  • Join Santa’s feast (6 sims)- 12 hours (select the option on the table in the garden at the farmhouse using 6 sims)

  • Say farewell to Santa and Mrs Claus- 4 hours 15 minutes (select the option on Santa)

  • Send all sims home

Thirteenth Set: Farmhouse and A-Frame Roofing

You will be able to build the Farmhouse on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free, after that the cost in simoleons depends on how many houses you have already built

NOTE: it is not possible to build a house with the veranda (roofed porch) it is currently only available on the Farmhouse

The only difference between the Farmhouse on a standard and a premium is the garden and one different object in the basement. You still get the chicken coop, table and barn on the premium like you do on the standard, you just get an extra picket fenced area on the premium:

The standard comes with a candle in the basement and the premium has a lamp to match the one on the other table:

I think I prefer this house on the standard rather than the premium as I don’t think we really need the extra picket fenced area that you get with the premium
