News Update

Last week my wonderful mother died after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. My heart is broken without my best friend, I have no idea how to go on.

Please be patient with me during this time, I didn’t want to let you down so I created posts for the new Freeplay update but I’m not ready to return just yet.

This is very difficult for me to write as I try not to say anything too personal online but I wanted to let you know what is going on and ask for your words of support and kindness as I really need that right now 💛

  13. Take your time and heal. We appreciate everything you’ve shared with us throughout the years . You’re an awesome person and we understand. I send love and compassion.

  14. I’m sending prayers to you and hope you can take time to heal. It may be months or years. There’s no time limit on grief and we all handle it differently. Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to get though the stages in your own time no matter what others may say.

  16. My mother who was also my best friend died of lung cancer. Although these will seem like your darkest days, try not to focus on the sad times but the many happy memories you have of her. The pain of the loss never goes away but it will get easier.

  18. I am so sorry for your loss. I can understand that no words of condolences can really make up for it, but just know you’ll be in my prayers and I appreciate all the things you do for us on this blog. I lost my father 2 years ago to stage 4 pancreatic cancer that we found a little too late, so I do understand that of all the cancer battles, pancreatic is one of the most volatile ones. I’m sure you did all you could to be there for your mom and she will always be with you.

  19. My most sincere condolences. 💐💐 I too lost my mother last week (the 17th), so I know what you’re going through. Many hugs!! ❤️❤️

  26. I’m sending you virtual hugs from the sunny Yucatán Peninsula. You are in my prayers. Take each day at a time, we all heal differently from a loss.

  27. I lost my mother Dec 27, 2019, so its been just a little over a year. What I would say to you is please allow yourself to grieve. I did not do that, because I felt I needed to be strong. Bad move. I am now working with a grief counselor, it could be helpful in the coming months. Take care.

  28. Hi,

I’m really sorry to hear about your mom.

Thank you for all that you do for this blog, and for helping all of us.

Please stay safe, and know that we’re all thinking of you.

  29. So so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom to bladder cancer 2 years ago and I miss her very much. Moms are a big part of our lives, it’s like a chunk of us is gone.
Prayers for you and your family as you grieve.💝

  30. Sorry for your loss. Take your time healing sweety …honestly dont worry about letting us down. I myself completely understand and sympathize for you. Thank you for all that you do sharing the joy of sims and updates. Your mother will always be with ❤ hugs Take care.

  31. My heart is breaking for you, I’m so terribly sorry for your loss and for what you’ve had to go through watching your mom struggle with such an awful illness. I just wanted to send virtual hugs and let you know that I am praying for you and am passing this along to my family to pray as well. I know nothing I can say could possibly help right now, but just know that you will be ok, even though that feels impossible right now. My mom lost her mom when she was in her twenties, and she’s always told me that it’s normal to feel like you can’t possible go on, but that time truly does heal. Be kind to yourself right now and please don’t give a second thought to posting on here until you’re ready. We are all so grateful for what you do and you absolutely deserve to take all the time you need. Praying for comfort, peace & hope for you and your family.❤

  32. So sorry for your loss. It must be very hard. Take all the time you need and take care of yourself. May you be safe, well, and may you live with ease soon.

  33. Weightless Magic, I love you…we ALL love you. I personally know how it feels to lose a Mom who is also your best friend, your everything. I didn’t know how I could go on either without her in my life every day. In time, you will find ways to continue on without her physically with you and you’ll rely on her in your heart where she’ll always be. Keep the happy memories of her always in the front of your mind as you grieve. You’ll always miss her but it will very gradually get less painful. My Mom died in 1991 after a 5-1/2 month battle with lung cancer at 64 years old; I still think of her always, even today, so many, many years later but I don’t cry as much or as often when I talk about her now. It just takes time. Take as much time as you need. We will be fine until you’re ready to be back. Thank you for thinking of all of us and not wanting to disappoint us even as you’re deeply grieving such a huge loss….you are a very special, kind and caring person. I thank you so much. I’ll pray for you to find comfort and peace when you’re able to get to that place and we’ll all be waiting for whenever you feel you’re ready. Take care of yourself….we’ll all be ok until you return. If you ever need someone to listen or cry with you or whatever you need, you have my email and you can email me anytime. We love you, Weightless Magic!❤️🙏🏻❤️🥰
