The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Arcade Gamer

This is a post about the arcade gamer hobby! I will tell you a little bit about how to do the hobby and the rewards you can get from it.

Who can be an arcade gamer?

How can you be an arcade gamer?

Firstly you need to have built the arcade on the mysterious island using geeky orbs, once unlocked you can access the machines

Where can you be an arcade gamer?

At the arcade

What are the arcade gamer options?

Stellar Interlopes- 1 hour

Digging Douglas- 2 hours

Pursuit H.Q- 4 hours

Virtual Smiter 5- 6 hours

Spooks n Spectres- 8 hours

Street Puncher 2- 12 hours

What are the arcade gamer levels?

There are 6 levels, these are:

  1. Button Master
  2. Quarter Muncher
  3. High Scorer
  4. Local Hero
  5. Kill Screen Hunter
  6. World Record Holder

What rankings are there to collect?

The pictures below will show you the the rankings you can collect:

This hobby works a bit differently from other ones, each machine gives you 3 different ranks so 1st, 2nd or 3rd each time, the level you are on doesn’t matter.

The first time you complete the hobby you need to find all 3 for one machine before you can go onto the next one, so you need to get 1st, 2nd and 3rd rankings on Stellar Interlopes before you can play Digging Douglas.

Once you have completed it you can then play them in whatever order you like.

What do I win?

The first time you find all the rankings you unlock the all in one arcade gamer machine for your home! (which costs 15,000 and can be found in the electronics section)

The second and further times completed you get 5LPs.

I can’t find one of the pieces, any tips?

The only advice I can really give you is to keep going, that is the only way you can find them- there is no trick to it, its completely random.

Is it worth using the lucky spin?

I would say no, it doesn’t give you one that you need it just gives you one at random so really it is probably just a waste of LPs

How do I start the collection again?

Once you have finished the collection you can click start a new collection on the list to start over.
