Once you unlock the stables by completing The Need for Steed quest you can buy horses.
What can horses do?
Horses are mainly used for hobbies:
Horse Tricks– complete for first time to unlock 2 star horses
Vaulting– complete for first time to unlock 3 star horses
Showjumping– complete for first time to unlock the unicorn
Star ratings:
1 Star Horses- can only complete horse tricks hobby
2 Star Horses- can complete horse tricks and vaulting but not showjumping
3 Star Horses- can complete all 3 horse hobbies (horse tricks, vaulting and showjumping)
Happiness
But horses have to be in a good mood to partake in hobbies, if you click on a horse you can see a happiness bar, the lower it is, the sadder the horse will be.
How do you fill up the happiness bar?
Feed horse
Groom horse
Pet horse
Times vary depending on the star rating the horse has
You can also ride a horse!
Select ride horse then your sim will get on the horse, you then click on the ground and the ‘go there’ arrow will show up, that is where the horse will walk to:
When you are done you can click on the horse and select dismount:
Can I get my horses to stay in their stable?
No, the horses like to wander around, they won’t stay in their stable, you will have to ride them into the stable if you want them to go in there.
How do I add a new horse?
You need to build an empty stable (like building a house to add a new sim) you can have a maximum of 6 horses as you can build 6 stables.
I would like to rename my horse, how do I do this?
Click on the horse and rename is the second option.
How do I delete a horse?
The same way you would delete a sim, click on it and on the right next to its name there is a red cross, click that to delete.

Completing this quest unlocks the showjumping hobby at the stables. If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the unicorn rocking horse. You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the showjumping hobby but you won’t get the unicorn rocking horse

Inspect unicorn jumping gate (click on show jumping gate)
Investigate horse- 14 seconds (the white horse)
Check unicorns horn- 24 seconds
Talk to unicorn- 2 minutes
Go home and call a friend- 4 minutes
Call 2 sims to the stables
Laugh with sim- 5 minutes
Investigate a tree- 2 minutes 12 seconds
Talk to sim about unicorn- 1 minute 30 seconds
Look for unicorns on internet- 17 minutes
Talk to a sim about shy unicorns- 2 minutes 30 seconds
Read pooping rainbows- 8 minutes 6 seconds
Talk to sim about the unicorn- 1 minute 30 seconds
Is the prize worth it? I really like this prize, but as there is a rocking horse already in the toddler section if you don’t complete on time I wouldn’t be too worried

Leave rocky road for unicorn- 5 minutes (click on show jumping gate)
Wait for the unicorn- 1 day (click on the tree)
Have a deep sleep (in a bed, use an adult-can be started early)- 6 hours 30 minutes
Go to stables
Read the note- 5 minutes (click on show jumping gate)
Tap show jumping gate to fix it (S50,000, 10 hours) (need more money?)

I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 14 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 14?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
Why are there two versions of this quest?
Some quests have two versions, as when the makers have updated the times for quests they haven’t updated them on all devices so some players still get the old times
What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it.
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work.
Which is the unicorn jumping gate?
This is the arena at the stables that is not next to the other two gates
How do I bake rocky road?
Click on a stove and select baking and find rocky road
Does it matter if the rocky road burns?
No it will still complete the goal
My game says there is something under construction when I try to repair the gate, what do I do?
Firstly you need to read the pop up as it tells you exactly what is under construction, once you have go there and click on it to finish building, then you will be able to repair the gate (it will be something you have built previously but probably just haven’t clicked to finish building yet!)
Can I fix the showjumping gate early?
No, you cannot fix the gate until you get the goal in this quest
What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?

Yes you have to finish it to unlock the showjumping hobby before you can move onto the next quest

Yes, you can have up to 10 sims at a place so 8 sims can clear the 8 items at the same time
How do I practice brushing another sim?
