How to find your Player ID
Your Player ID can be found on the game, click on Settings (green dots) and you will see it at the bottom of the screen or from settings click on info then on about, scroll down to the bottom of the about tab to find your Player ID:

I am doing the patio quest and i am at the end it told me to have all 3 sims leave the diy house and i did that with the house button but it didnt say that i completed that quest

Try and have all your sims not doing any action, this sometimes makes the game recognise you have completed that goal
Hi. I can’t build anything, it keeps saying sunset bar is under construction on tropical Island romance. That quest ended in febuary, i can build houses but other than that i cannot build or fix anything else. Please help!
Go to the romance island and click on the sunset bar to finish building it.
I have that same problem but it’s with the coastal dining I got to the island and it’s empty I can’t click on anything to finish the building process because there is nothing to click on
You didn’t start building it when the quest was available? If you didn’t you will need to contact EA to see if they can fix this for you as unfortunately I cannot fix technical issues.
So stuff went missing on my inventory let me explain how . Well you see I bought a big house with the gigantic pool in the back like on level 10 and barely on the 2 and a half sims quest and then I tried to remodel the house so I put some stuff in the inventory ( the stuff I put in there were stuff I hadn’t unlocked yet on the home store ) so I don’t know if the stuff disappeared because I hadn’t unlocked it yet or because I’m not at the level , I’m at level 14 right now and the stuff still hasn’t come back 😒😔🙏. If you haven’t completed certain quests yet you will not have the tabs in buy mode so when you store the items they will disappear as you won’t have the tabs but when you complete the quest the items should reappear in your inventory. For example if you stored the preteen bed and haven’t completed the preteen quest yet you will not see the preteen tab in buy mode so when you complete the preteen quest the bed should reappear, I hope that makes sense!

Hi i am on level 15..i can’t grow my babies to toddler..it keeps asking me to complete A quest for toddlers but its gone…how should i fix this? Please Help
It can’t have gone, you need to complete previous quests first, this one will start automatically when you reach the right stage.
Hi, On the Nanny Knows Best Quest, I can’t place the baby in the highchair, no matter where I place it, blue footprints just keep popping up. I’ve been stuck here for 3 days and I missed the 5 day time limit.
A sim needs to be able to access the back of the highchair to put the baby into it, so make sure there is nothing in the way behind the highchair.
any news on the weird teen girl legs on most of the outfits?

I submitted a ticket through firemonkey, but the only response ive gotten is to try reinstalling, which of course i’d already tried. spoiler alert: it doesnt work. its only when the teen is wearing some of the newer outfits, but its all teen girls…even the little mannequin in the clothing store has this weird rendering problem starting below the girl’s knee. The boots are long enough to cover them, true, but you can still tell the difference.
It may be something you have to just put up with then and hopefully they will get around to fixing it properly one day
My son noticed it as well… Is the teen girls are wearing flats or sneakers, their legs look disjointed. But they look fine when they wear boots.
So a new glitch appeared for me last night at 12:10 am. I sent all my Sims to work minus 2 one I had doing the Nanny goal and the other I had working on chocolate. I always exit by the home button. Around this same time my Sims game was really slow. Anyway, I went back in to see how everything was going and no one was at work I didn’t earn any money and now I realize they are all stuck in there work clothes. I’m hopefully that maybe if I send them to work and they go and earn the money maybe their normal clothes will come back.
This happens when your game crashes as it closes so it sometimes cancels all their actions, my iPad does this a lot, try restarting your device to stop it lagging and crashing, this isn’t a permanent fix though as you will have to keep restarting it occasionally.
since this morning I am unable to open the application in my tablet. It keeps on displaying loading/connecting page. I have tried cleaning the cache, application info, and even reinstalled the application but it still cannot load the game.
I have reached level 48 and am in the middle of building new house and adding a baby and it would be disappointing to lose all that.
Do you have any information to fix this problem? Or is it just temporary server issue?

I would suggest you contact EA about this issue to see if they can fix this for you, unfortunately I cannot fix technical issues. In the meanwhile restart your device and just keep trying to load it as it may be a temporary problem, sorry I couldn’t be more help!

Anyway I noticed something funny tonight, which was the fact that I had 3 days left on my breakdancing hobby with only 3 trophies left to obtain and after checking the game about 5 minutes from walking away from it, and checking the time capsule quest, the breakdancing hobby timed out, saying I missed my chance on the prize. What the hell?!
Not sure if anyone has come across this and I already submitted a ticket. Just wanted to let you know that these issues are arising now.

A lot of people are having this problem with the hobby timers at the moment, you will need to contact EA to see if they can fix this for you as I am unable to fix technical issues, sorry!
This happened to me recently on a few timed hobbies. EA/firemonkey were great about unlocking the prize (especially as I’d been spending lps). They said it should be fixed in the next update.

For the balcony quest, the game is having me examine the cameras over and over again. At this rate my sim will be dead before I ever finish this quest! Please, Please, Please help!!!!

Not sure if this is a glitch, but I have been needing to use two platinum life orbs in order to permanently pause a sim’s aging. After I close the game, and open it later, the aging is no longer paused. I use another platinum life orb to re-pause the sim’s aging, it usually sticks the second time
It may be that the game has not saved your progress before you closed it, try saving to the cloud before closing, if this still doesn’t fix this you may need to contact EA to see why this is happening.
Also I cannot contact customer support on the problem. It says I need a ‘Player ID number’ and says that I can find it in the help and about menus, except there is no player ID listed in either of those. I cannot ask on their Facebook page because for some reason I cannot like the page, comment on any post, or message the page, I don’t have any option to do any of those. The only option I am given for all things sims freeplay Facebook page is ‘share’
To find your player ID, go to settings, click on info, then about. Scroll right down to the bottom of the about page and you will find your player ID.
I want to thank you for your blog as I refer to it almost daily! I’m 45 y/o (ikr a bit sad) but I am a bit of a shut-in with cronic pain and some health issues and don’t work currently. Anyways, I’m hooked! (Level 20) Also I’ve gotten my daughter addicted! (Level 18) which is great to have an ally in the Sims neighboring towns for weekly tasks!
*Anytime either of us need an item a quick text and over to each others town for a BBQ, paint a picture, play soccer, etc.
Another suggestion I have that I have found to be a huge convenience is I bought/moved my very first sim couple into a large lot in a modest home built it up to a nice open plan 3 bedroom w/den Hall way etc. The key is the nice “3 room back house” FULL of all of the things Sims need for practicing for their jobs and hobbies! I still have some job and hobbies required items throughout Sims town but having ALL of these things in one place including a really nice kitchen with chocolate making counter to wood working, computers, video cameras, and places to unwind! The point of this is that I don’t have to keep clicking all over Sims town and a sim’s life is much easier if theirs all in one place! (As well as my daughter knows we’re to go in the event she needs to complete a weekly task)! Lol
I just that I’d share a few of my tips! 14 Sims + 2 baby + 3 pets is ALOT to keep track of! Lol

What’s the best way to earn LP’s? Earning 1 at a time maybe once a week is not going to help me age a sim/pet and other crucial things to go forward in this game to keep it interesting!

The best way to make LPs really is to complete the cooking hobby, after the first time you get 5LPs each time you complete it and you just have to do the one minute option over and over, so the more sims you have the quicker you can complete it, this post explains in more detail: https://thegirlwhogames.wordpress.com/2015/01/14/the-sims-freeplay-how-do-i-have-so-many-lps/

I recently completed diving at. Neighbour’s for50 points and they haven’t shown up. Can I get them?
Did it say you completed the task? If not, there is a glitch where the game isn’t recognising when you complete some goals right now- you could contact EA and let them know a goal doesn’t work or you could try skipping with LPs
The task was completed, the cell pop up showed. I clicked ax normal but the so were not banked. I looked into EA contact but they request reference codes for the game. I uploaded free game app for kindle and don’t have these details.
Worst of it was I missed purchasing sale items with the points and now the sale ended!

Yes thanks and I have had a response. The missing LP was a misunderstanding but they stated the SP were never set at 50 for diving into a neighbour’s pool. That is what the task box stated – I remember thinking WOW at the time as they had a sale on some furniture I needed SP to buy and had planned my spree. Nevermind. I am still playing the game and have levelled up a lot. Another thing I am not sure of though is it seems many of my sims are not receiving payment for work. The money doesn’t go up if they come back and I am not playing the game at the time. Have you experienced this?
I did think 50 points for that was a bit strange but if that is what it said they really should have honoured it!
I haven’t experienced this myself and I am not really sure of how to fix it unfortunately, it may mean another message to EA, sorry!
I’m on the basement quest. It told me to buy 2000 siomlions worth of furniture and electronics. I did but it wont move to the next task.
Try just buying from the electronics section of buy mode, that might complete the goal.
Okay my wife and I both play and she is right behind me in quests ect. We both have the Salon built but with her salon she only has hair, make up and eyes that she can change. I can actually go in and buy clothing that I believe is in the all sizes store from the mall. Neither of us has built the mall yet so I don’t understand why it is I can buy men’s and women’s clothing and shoes and she can’t. I can also access this store through browsing a wardrobe. I’ve bought a men’s shirt and some female tops and all my sims of the appropriate gender can wear them. She has no options of clothing other than what originally it cam with. Any ideas how she can get these items too? Or did I get some kind of lucky glitch?
Have you built the costume and swim store by any chance? If so that may be why you are seeing extra clothes but if you think you are seeing clothes from a shop in the mall that you haven’t built yet then it may just be a lucky glitch.

Hi, I can’t connect my sims freeplay to my facebook account, in my iPhone 4s. How to fix it?
Does it say why you cannot connect?
Im not sure if this is a glitch or not but…Why does my Sim’s town value go up whenever I go visit a neighbor? My town value was at 7 million and when I went to go visit the town it went up to 9 mil and then up to 11 mil. She’s on level 54 and her town value is 21 mil and it only happens when i visit her town. Is this a glitch? Pretty neat if it is.
This is just a glitch, nothing to worry about and it will probably be fixed on the next update.

Hey! I’m doing the Nanny Knows Best quest, and my baby is crawling around right now. The Follow Obsessively task is completed, so now I am trying to get my sim to pick up the baby, but eh plumbob just keeps switching back and forth between the baby and the adult sim. Have you seen this glitch? Do you know a way around it, or should I contact EA?
You could always get the baby to click on the adult if it will let you do that and select cry for sim to be picked up
I’ve had a glitch a couple times on my game where (usually a building) will say it’s going to take a long time to complete (36 hours, for example) and then as soon as I start it, it’s counting down from 24. Obviously I’m not complaining as this benefits me, but I haven’t used any cheats and it worries me that there’s something wrong with my game. It’s happened a couple times with activities for quests.
Sounds like a good glitch to me! I wouldn’t worry about it, if you haven’t cheated then there is nothing to worry about
I just had a birthday for my toddler, and when I select a task for the toddler to do the task bar shows that the toddler is doing it, when actually he is just standing there and not performing the actual task. What kind of glitch is this?

My 2 toddlers are frozen. They complete the task they are doing but they stay perfectly still while doing them.

So for some reason, as soon as I did the recent update, my toddler will DO the actions i tell it to do, but it won’t do the actions (the time will tick down, but it lists stands there and freezes.) Such as, when I tell my toddler to sleep, it will stand by the bed, get into PJ’s, and then stand by the side of the bed while the blanket it uses flickers underneath its feet. Let me know of any ideas!

^also, to go along with my previous comment, on the info for all of my 12 Sims, my one toddler girls’ face is not her face- it’s her stomach area, but with whatever clothes she is currently wearing.. Please help!!

Anyone having trouble getting toddlers into beds? I tap on the bed, the toddler changes and then just stands there while the blanket moves with no one in it. I tried it with a toddler bed and twin bed. Wierd!

There’s a lot of problems with the sound effects since I’ve updated to the spa version in the Sim free play. My dogs in some houses meows like a cat when they are ready to dig up treasure and they also squawk like a parrot!! Also I get a sound of a sim snoring in one of the houses and I do not have any sims sleeping. I know this isn’t major,but I just wondered if anyone else is experiencing anything weird like this.
I think we are all having most of those sound issues right now, hopefully they will be fixed in the next update, for now though you could play with the sound off
I completed all the walks for the catwalk model hobby. It says I’ve unlocked the 2nd set of mall shops but they aren’t clickable in my game, that section is still gated off & full of garbage. Since I completed hobby I should also be able to use bowling alley but I have to walk past 2nd set of stores to get to it so I can’t.

I’ve been having a strange glitch with my toddler ever since the new spa update. Any action that I send her to do she freezes…but you can see the action happen around her. Ex: Playing with a doll house-the pieces move around but she’s frozen in front of it. And as of a few hours ago the picture of her face on the SimTracker has been replaced with a picture of the top part of her outfit. I’ve restarted the game, restarted my phone, and even changed her outfit but the picture just changes with it. I keep one each of infants, toddlers, preteens, and teens for weekly goals, hobbies, ect and this is the only one it’s happening to. Has anyone else seen this? And thank you so much for your blog btw. It’s my first stop at the beginning of any new quest or update.

I went to a neighbors town and we became partners, so anyway I finished with woo hooing, but now it won’t let me go back to the neighbors town, so my sim is stuck there and every time I click the town, the game crashes… What should I do?
Try restarting your device, that should stop it crashing long enough for you to go back and get your sim

I tried to launch my game this morning, but when a game finished to load and showed me these two screens (with town value, sims actions etc) a window “Store error: Error: unable to find offer” showed up. Everytime I click “OK” it shows up all over again and doesn’t want to disappear. Consequently I can’t play at all. I tried to restart application in Application Manager, restart my phone, restart internet, and nothing helps. I have the latest update and everything worked fine till now. Please help, I’m totally stuck.

I am also getting the Store Error. I don’t have any in-app purchases to disable. I’ve restarted my phone, but no luck. Anyone ever find a fix for this. I’m definitely going to miss my animal onesie (no big) and may not be able to finish the storyteller hobby in time.
You are best off contacting EA about this issue.
Since this update, The Sims Freeplay closes by itself without a message or warning of any kind, not even a report option or crash reporter like usually when an Android app crashes. Firemonkeys said in the previous version, crashing will be fixed in this version. funny story, I never had a crash until this version, I had one crash three versions ago, but it gave me a report a crash dialog. This just exits the game back to my home screen.
I definitely think in this update the game has been crashing more than it previously did, the problem is your device is trying to use so much memory to play the game and as they add more content it means more memory has to be used and when your device cannot cope with that much memory it just crashes. The only temporary fix I found was to restart my device before playing, this used to work but for the last few updates it has still crashed after doing this so it may work for a while.
when my sim picks up a baby the baby dosent show it will show the plumblop but not the baby plz help btw im a big fan
When a sim picks up the baby the plumbob will be on the sims head not the babies, you will then click on the baby to select the action you want the baby to do

I have a glitch when whenever I visit my really rich neighbour, my town value goes up by more than two million! Now it’s double what it was before, my daily reward is sooo much higher and I am basically rich in LPs! Has this happened to you?
This is because you are getting your neighbours town value when you visit them, you shouldn’t but there seems to be a glitch with this recently but nothing wrong with extra LPs!
Ever since my neighbor (which is actually my relative) visits my town, her Town Value increases but now my Town Value won’t increase when I build homes etc. Her TV went from maybe 5M to almost 22 Million because she kept visiting for the LPs. But in return I lost Millions in TV. Plus my daily reward has went down to. EA hasn’t done anything about it & I’m ready to quit the game. All my hard work wasted. The game is free but my time spent isn’t. Is there a way to block players without unfriending them on facebook?
Your neighbour will not have caused this problem on your game, neighbours actions do not affect your game in anyway and the only way to remove them would be to unfriend them from facebook but this is not needed for this issue.
Just keep contacting EA until they reply back to you, they may just be very busy right now.
I have this one too! Fortunately, the buildings cost value has not gone over high levels. Before i used to have 826,000 in town value and now 12,00,000 in town value! Hope EA fixes this, but i love swimming in LPs and daily rewards cash.

When I save my progress into the cloud, it’s says it will expire in 7 days. It’s been five days and my progress always gets like kicked out of the cloud! Please help me with this issue! 🙁
What do you mean your progress always gets kicked out of the cloud?
My progress gets deleted and my sims aren’t inspired anymore and I have to deal with this every week
Do you mean you have to download from the cloud every week as it removes your progress from your device? Or do you mean that you close the game and when you reopen it your sims have stopped what they were doing?

During the toddler super hero quest one of my sims vanished! The mother of the toddler. My son may have had something to do with it but I don’t know what has happened. Can a sim be deleted? If so can you get them back? TIA
A sim can be deleted, if your son deleted that sim you will not be able to get them back unfortunately, your only option is to make them again.
i’m on level 30 and i’m trying to add a new sims . there are 3 vacant houses in my game. but i can’t add a new sim. it always says that i’m adding a new sim, but i didn’t have a new sim added or a baby. how do i fix it? (srry for bad english)
If you are at the sim limit for that level you will not be able to add another sim until you level up and unlock space for another sim.
Hi, my ipad went flat yesterday while i was playing simsfreeplay, my sims were left in the campsite but now everytime i click sims as soon as the loading screen comes on it instantly crashes? Halp
Try restarting your device before opening the game, this usually helps stop it crashing for a while.
I moved a Sim into anew empty house. At first he was male and I wanted him to be female, so I clicked the female button inext CAS. Then, the random female I had was wearing the Chinese style dress that is no longer available! I checked everywhere in CAS, but the dress was no where to be found. So for some reason, my sim was wearing a no longer available dress. I’m not complaining, but this is really weird. I really love your blog, by the way!
The dress is available again when you build the costume and swim store in your town.

The dog chew toy is stuck in my puppies head. Going on several weeks now, puppy still does all activities (eating, drinking, playing) won’t let me put toy back in inventory either.
Try picking up the puppy, this usually fixes this problem.
Hi, one of my horses is stuck in the stable wall, and my sims just show blue footprints when I try to get them to interact with it… Closing the app doesnt work at all, neither does switching location. Is this a known issue or should I contact EA?
I’ve not heard of many people having this issue, I suggest you contact EA to see if they can fix this for you if the issue doesn’t sort itself out.
I was looking through the other questions and I don’t think you’ve answered this but on the saved by the spell quest when it says to examine the crystal ball when I try to it glitches and takes me out of the game, not going the task, and stopping the other sims from doing there’s. I’ve already tried restarting my device, but it still glitches.
