The Sims Freeplay- Sleepwear Event

THIS EVENT IS NOW OVER

This is a limited time event that started on the 12th August. It is only available for 9 days and you have to complete the catwalk model collection 5 times to unlock all sleepwear! You can not complete once the time is up. Each time you complete the collection you unlock a sleepwear for a different life stage. If you have never done the catwalk hobby you can find that post here.

If you completed this event last time you will not get it again. If you unlocked some sleepwear last time you will only need to complete the hobby for every sleepwear you are still to unlock, so if you managed to get 4 sets last time you will only need to complete the hobby once more this time!

TIP: you can send another sim to a neighbours town to try and complete quicker (as only one sim can do it in your town at a time)

You need to firstly accept this event, it will remove the poses you have already got on the collection so you don’t get a head start.

If you say no you can start it from the goal tab.

YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THESE BEFORE YOU CAN START THIS EVENT:

  • Build the mall (really isn’t much point starting building now to complete this event in the time limit!)
  • Complete the sunset mall quest
  • Unlock area 2
  • Build the catwalk

The guide to the mall post shows you how much it costs to build area 2 and the catwalk.

12 POSES= 1 SLEEPWEAR PACK

TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:

-have a sim in a neighbours town so you can have two sims working on it at once instead of one

-have at least one sim at level 6 or working on getting to level 6 so all poses are unlocked, you may need to use LPs to speed your way through the levels to have the chance of unlocking all the sleepwear

-if you do want to speed it up, wait until the timer is 1 hour 59 minutes or below then it will only cost you 1LP instead of 2! This post may help if you want a quick way to earn LPs.

-remember to click start new collection on the top of the hobby collection list once you have got all the pieces otherwise you won’t find any new items, this post tells you how to do that.

-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.

Where can I find the sleepwear?

In the costume and swim store, the wardrobe and create a sim menu.

When you change their sleepwear they will change into it when every they go to sleep or when you click change into sleepwear on a wardrobe.

again you can mix and match the top and bottoms and choose some slippers

Preteen sleepwear

again you can mix and match the top and bottoms and choose some slippers

the tops could be worn on their own as nighties

Adult sleepwear

they could wear the shorts on their own

Is it worth completing in time? Definitely! The sleepwear is so much better than your sims sleeping in their underwear!

IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE IN TIME YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY THE SLEEPWEAR

The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Catwalk Model

SUNSET MALL QUEST – CATWALK – TEEN AND ADULT SIMS – PRIZES: MALL STORES, BOWLING HOBBY AND 3LPs

Once you have completed the Sunset Mall Quest you will need to build area 2 of the mall and then you will be able to built the catwalk area (see my guide to the mall for more details) once built one of your teen or adult sims can start this hobby at the mall.

There is only one catwalk so only one sim can complete this hobby at a time, click on the catwalk and select:

  • Strut Your Stuff- 2 hours 15 minutes

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the catwalk collectibles. Every time your sims strut their stuff on the catwalk their hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once you reach 100% you will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the catwalk collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

The table below shows the level up percentage:

This may change in future updates

 LEVEL Strut Your Stuff
1-2 133%
2-3 99%
3-4 66%
4-5 49%
5-6 33%

For example you would need to complete the hobby 4 times to reach level 6 from level 5

NOTE: it says 133% but you will start from 0% at level 2

The next table shows you for each level what catwalk collectibles you unlock (so you can then find those ones too) and also the level up reward that a second and future sims will receive when they level up in this hobby:

LEVEL  TITLE 1st TIME LEVEL UP UNLOCKS 2nd+ TIMES LEVEL UP REWARD
1 Face Planter The Debut and The Trip are unlocked in the hobby collection
2 Two Right Feet Heel to Toe and Here’s Looking at You are now unlocked in the hobby collection 250XP
3 Mover and Faker Catlike Recovery and The Good Side are now unlocked in the hobby collection 500XP

5 The Look Strut is now unlocked in the hobby collection 10,000 Town Value
6 Blue Steel Blue Iron, Contrapose and The Diva are now unlocked in the hobby collection.

You can now complete the collection!

1LP

NOTE: only the first sim completing this hobby needs to get to level 6 to unlock all the collectibles, future sims will be able to find any collectible even if they are only on level 1 in this hobby

You won’t find a new collectible each time, you will get repeats, if this happens just keep going, you will find them eventually! If it is still taking too long you can use the lucky spin on the row where you cannot find the item, this will cost LPs, when you click on the LP button it will clear the row and give you a random collectible on that row so you aren’t guaranteed a new item (you will get back any other collectibles you already had in that row) Need to earn some LPs to use the lucky spin?

The completed catwalk model collection is shown below, once you complete the collection you need to click ‘start a new collection’ at the top of the hobby collection screen, this clears the board so you can complete the collection again to earn more rewards (you will only get the option to restart the hobby collection when you have completed the collection):

The first time you complete each row you will unlock new mall stores, after this time you will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 12 of the collectibles
