20150703-200258.jpg

Star ratings:

  • 1 Star Horses- can only complete horse tricks hobby
  • 2 Star Horses- can complete horse tricks and vaulting but not showjumping
  • 3 Star Horses- can complete all 3 hobbies

Happiness

But horses have to be in a good mood to partake in hobbies, if you click on a horse you can see a happiness bar, the lower it is, the sadder the horse will be.

How do you fill up the happiness bar?

  • Feed horse
  • Groom horse
  • Pet horse

Times vary depending on the star rating the horse has

You can also ride a horse!

Select ride horse then your sim will get on the horse, you then click on the ground and the ‘go there’ arrow will show up, that is where the horse will walk to:

When you are done you can click on the horse and select dismount:

Can I get my horses to stay in their stable?

No, the horses like to wander around, they won’t stay in their stable, you will have to ride them into the stable if you want them to go in there.

How do I add a new horse?

You need to build an empty stable (like building a house to add a new sim) you can have a maximum of 6 horses as you can build 6 stables.

I would like to rename my horse, how do I do this?

Click on the horse and rename is the second option.

How do I delete a horse?

The same way you would delete a sim, click on it and on the right next to its name there is a red cross, click that to delete.

The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Showjumping

20140216-163459.jpgThis post will tell you all you need to know about the showjumping hobby.

I’m going to tell you a little bit about how to do the hobby and what you can unlock if you find all the ribbons.
Who can do showjumping?
Adults

Only one sim can do this hobby at a time.

How can I do showjumping?

Using a 3 star horse at the stables, once the showjumping area has been built and cleared (after completing the hidden unicorn quest) The guide to the stables post explains how if you are unsure.

Where can I do showjumping?

At the stables

What is the showjumping option?

Showjumping- 6 hours

What are the showjumping skill levels?

There are 6 levels, these are:

  1. Fence Breaker
  2. Puddle Jumper
  3. Hogsback Clipper
  4. Mane Stayer
  5. Cross Rail Nailer
  6. Leaping Lord

How do I collect ribbons?

By selecting the showjumping option and clicking the exclamation mark once the time is up.

What ribbons are there to collect?

The pictures below will show you all the ribbons you can collect:

Level 1 ribbons are:

  • Bark King
  • Sky High

Level 2 are:

  • Highflyer
  • Corner Caser

Level 3 are:

  • Speed Demon
  • Oxer the Explorer

Level 4 are:

  • Normandy Overachiever
  • Triple bar triumph

Level 5 are:

  • Hosed Hogsback
  • The bomb

Level 6 are:

  • Lucky horseshoe
  • Stone Waller

What do I win?
1st time- unlocks the unicorn (costs 100LPs)

2nd and further times- 3 LPs

I can’t find one of the ribbons, any tips?

The only advice I can really give you is to keep going, that is the only way you can find them- there is no trick to it, its completely random.

Is it worth using the lucky spin?

I would say no, it doesn’t give you one that you need it just gives you one at random so really it is probably just a waste of LPs

How do I start the collection again?

Once you have finished the collection you can click start a new collection at the bottom of the ribbons list to start over.

Confused about hobbies? Read my Hobbies Frequently Asked Questions post

I hope this has helped!
