Once you reach level 11 in The Sims Mobile you will be able to complete the Baby Quest to add babies to your town!

The first thing you need to do is purchase a Changing Table which you can find in the baby steps collection in buy mode:
Once placed you will get the goal to complete the Baby Quest, to start this click on the changing table and select ‘conceive plan for a baby’:
You will then have 2 days to complete the baby quest to unlock the bassinet, if you don’t complete the quest in the time limit you can start it again by clicking on the changing table to try and earn the bassinet but you won’t be able to add babies until the quest is complete
There are 15 parts to complete:
Can’t find one of the event options on your sim’s partner? You may have a story chapter to complete first, if not check under the friendly or flirty options as it might be there. If you still cannot find it try using another sim who your sim has a friendly relationship with
1.Bring up baby plans with your partner or family member- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy Reward: 25 simoleons
2.Tap on a table to create a baby wishlist- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy Reward: 25 simoleons
3.Complete the Baby-Steps Budgeting event- takes up to 8 hours to complete (will take up to 4 hours if their partner is one of your sims)* (select the option under flirty on your sim’s partner to start this event) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

4.Tap on a couch to call friends and share the joyous news- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy Reward: 25 simoleons
5.Complete the Baby Talk Event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* (I could only get this option on a friend of my sims, not their partner, select the option to start this event) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

6.Complete the Baby 101 Event with your sim’s partner- takes up to 8 hours to complete (will take up to 4 hours if their partner is one of your sims)* (select the option on your sim’s partner to start this event) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

7.Decide on a baby name with your sim’s partner (select the option on your sim’s partner)- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy Reward: 25 simoleons
8.Save up sleep (select the option on a bed)- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy Reward: 25 simoleons
9.Complete the Baby Proofing Event with your sim’s partner- takes up to 8 hours to complete (will take up to 4 hours if their partner is one of your sims)* (select the option on your sim’s partner to start this event) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

10.Complete the Adoption Options Event with your sim’s partner- takes up to 8 hours to complete (will take up to 4 hours if their partner is one of your sims)* (select the option on your sim’s partner to start this event) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

11.Read ‘The Hungry Llama’ children’s book on a couch- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy Reward: 25 simoleons
12.Complete the Baby 101 Event again- takes up to 8 hours to complete (will take up to 4 hours if their partner is one of your sims)* (select the option on your sim’s partner to start this event) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

13.Browse dream nurseries (select the option on a table)- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy Reward: 25 simoleons
14.Complete the Baby Proofing Event again- takes up to 8 hours to complete (will take up to 4 hours if their partner is one of your sims)* (select the option on your sim’s partner to start this event) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP

15.Agree with your partner or family that it’s time for a baby (select the option on your sim’s partner)- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy Reward: 25 simoleons
QUEST IS COMPLETE!
*the event can be completed quicker than time shown if you complete the actions with your sims during the event
Completing this quest in the time limit unlocks the Bassinet which you can find in the storage section:
Once placed your sims can:
- Adopt a Baby Boy
- Adopt a Baby Girl
- Have a Baby
Sims don’t need to be married to have a baby
Once you select an option the baby will arrive in 30 minutes, you can then name the baby, feed and check the baby and complete family events with the baby.
