SUPERYACHT EVENT

From the 9th January you will be able to complete the SuperYacht Event to build a yacht! This event is very similar to a Downtown Developer Event. Read my walkthrough post here for more information

NEW CHRISTMAS QUEST

Christmas is in the Heir is the NEW Christmas Quest for 2022 (no longer available) This quest will start on 12th December for 13 days, unlock Cabin themed prizes each day and if you complete the whole quest in the time limit you also unlock Santa’s Cabin!

NEW & RETURNING INFLUENCE ISLAND EVENTS

Influence Island Season 32: Xmas Cabin (no longer available) starts on the 28th November for 10 days

Cats will automatically interact with the Christmas trees and toddlers can help decorate the tree!

NEW PREGNANCY EVENT

There are new time limited prizes when you complete the 9 day pregnancy event in the time limit and earn the baby bonus between the 3rd-12th January

If you start the 9 day pregnancy event anytime during the time frame you have the chance of earning the maternity items in that pack if you complete the event in the time limit, for example if you start a pregnancy event on the 12th January and complete in the time limit you will earn the items above

You need to have completed the first pregnancy event in the A Bump-y Ride Quest before you can earn the maternity prizes

Returning Quests and Events?

The Celebrity Pet Live Event (available now) will be returning on 4th January for 10 days, complete in the time limit to unlock items for small dogs and the pug pet!

The Oh So Ombre Hair Hobby Event (not available yet) will be back on 12th January for 7 days, complete the fashion designer hobby collection 8 times in the 7 day time limit to unlock all 32 hairstyles for your adult sims! (the link is from when this was last available, I will make a new post when the event returns)

What else?

The Sims Mobile photo frames have been added to the decorations section of buy mode as base game items (they will always be available) for S1,000 each:

To celebrate The Sims Freeplay’s 11th Birthday on 15th December we will:
- Receive 10 Mystery Box Keys to redeem in the Mystery Box Shop (15th- 16th December)
- Receive DOUBLE credits when completing Influence Island Season 32 (3rd-7th December)
- Receive TRIPLE rewards from the paperboy between 7th-10th December
- Save up to 30% on decoration items in buy mode (15th-16th December)

We also unlock:
- +1 on any house lot (taking the total to 11 sims on any lot at one time!)
- NEW Skin Tones- 6 new skin tones have been added with a focus on darker variants
  - There is also an update on how lighter makeup looks on darker skin tones
  - Ultimate Makeover is also free for the whole update so you can change your sims DNA without spending 12LP

Premium Perks is back for season 2, it will be available for 10 days from 6th January, the aim of this event is to spend social points to unlock prizes. (you need to be player level 16 or over to be able to participate in this event)

When this event is active you will see it in the active tasks tab, click on the icon in the circle next to the task to access the prize tab:

On this bar you can see the prizes you unlock in this event and how many points you need to unlock each prize pack.

1 social point spent = 2 points

Once you have unlocked a prize a pop up will appear at the top of the screen, click visit to view the prize tab:

Click on the item to claim:

If you don’t claim them before you complete the event a pop up will appear to claim any rewards once the event is over:
