The Sims Freeplay- Embrace the Fro Hair Hobby Event

Starts 1st February

A brand new hair hobby event will be available for a limited time from 1st February! To get all 32 hairstyles for female and male adult sims you need to complete the fashion designer hobby collection 8 times in the 7 day time limit. You get 1 hairstyle in 4 colours (4 for females and 4 for males) each time you complete the collection (find all 12 fashion pieces), once you unlock a hairstyle you get to keep it even if you don’t find them all. You need to buy a fashion studio from the promotions r us store to complete this hobby

You need to firstly accept this event, it will remove the fashion designs you have already created from the collection so you don’t get a head start.

If you say no you can start it from the active tasks tab, you will not get any extra time if you start this late.

If you already have a sim as a level 6 fashion designer (or previous have) then you will complete this a lot quicker as you aren’t waiting for all the designs to become unlocked. It is really helpful to have loads of sims doing the hobby, and have them doing the 10 minute option over and over if possible!

YOU NEED TO COMPLETE ALL FOUR ROWS TO GET ONE HAIRSTYLE!!

TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:

Have more than one sim working on it
It is easier if you have all the sims in one house, maybe build a room for them so they are all together but you don’t have to!
If you can, do the 10 minute option over and over, you will find the most designs this way (once you have a sim at level 6)
Have at least one sim at level 6 or working on getting to level 6 (maybe do the 12 hour option) so all designs are unlocked (if you have previously completed the collection you do not need to get another sim to level 6 to complete this)
Remember to click start new collection on the fashion hobby collections list once you have got all the pieces
Most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.

Each time you complete the collection you will unlock one hairstyle in 4 different colours for both male and female adult sims:

The Sims Freeplay- Mean Curls Hobby Event

The Mean Curls Hobby Event is back again for 7 days from 17th July. To get all 9 hairstyles you need to complete the fashion designer hobby collection 9 times in the 7 day time limit. You get a new hairstyle each time you complete the collection (find all 12 fashion pieces), once you unlock a hairstyle you get to keep it even if you don’t find them all. If you completed this event last time it will not appear for you again. If you got some hairstyles last time you will start from the point you reached so if you got 5 last time you only need to complete the collection 4 times this time.

-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly (those heels are a nightmare!) but you will eventually get the ones you need.

The Sims Freeplay- Charming Barber Hair Hobby Event

The Charming Barber Hair Event to unlock male hairstyles for your adult sims is back from the 12th March! You have 7 days to complete the fashion designer hobby 8 times to unlock all the male hairstyles. You get a new hairstyle each time you complete the collection (find all 12 fashion items) once you unlock a hairstyle you get to keep it even if you don’t find them all.

If you completed this event last time you will not get it again, if you unlocked some of the hairstyles last time you will only have to find the ones you have left, for example, if you unlocked 7 hairstyles you will only have to complete the hobby one more time to get the last hairstyle.

The Sims Freeplay- Love is Blinds Event

THIS EVENT IS OVER

The Love is Blinds hobby event is back from the 21st May for 7 days to unlock blinds and curtains- they even open and close! Complete the woodworking hobby 7 times in the 7 day time limit to unlock all the blinds and curtains, you unlock a pack at random each time. If you completed this before you will not get this event again, if you got some of them last time you will only need to find the remaining ones this time, for example, if you completed the collection 5 times last time to unlock 5 curtains/blinds you only need to complete it two more times this time to find the last two.

Firstly you need to accept the love is blinds event and it will reset your current woodworking collection so you don’t get a head start:
If you say no you can start the event from the goal tab, once you have said yes you now need to complete the collection 7 times but you will not get extra time if you start late

NOTE: YOU NEED TO COMPLETE ALL FOUR ROWS TO GET ONE PACK!!

TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:

-have more than one sim working on it- you can buy as many woodworking benches as you want and you can find 4 more in the community center
-if one of your neighbours has the community center you can send another sim to their town to also complete the hobby
-it is easier if you have all the sims in one house, maybe build a room for them so they are all together but you don’t have to!
-have at least one sim at level 6 or working on getting to level 6 (maybe do the longest option) so all woodworking pieces are unlocked (if you have previously completed the collection you do not need to get another sim to level 6 to complete this, you can just do the 5 hour option over and over)
-remember to click start new collection on the woodworking hobby collections list once you have got all the pieces
-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.

THIS EVENT IS OVER

The baby onesie event is back again! The aim is to complete the musical expressions hobby 7 times in the 7 day time limit to unlock all the baby onesies!

If you completed this event before you will not get it again this time. If you got some of the onesies last time, you will only need to find the ones you have left to unlock this time, for example, if you unlocked 4 onesies last time you will have to complete the musical expressions hobby collection 3 more times to unlock the last 3 onesies.

You can not complete this once the time is up. Each time you complete the collection you unlock a new onesie pack. If you haven’t done the musical expressions hobby before you can find that post here

You need to have completed the Two and a Half Sims and Nanny Knows Best quests before you will be able to do this event (there isn’t much point starting the nanny knows best quest now to get this event as this event will be over by the time you complete the quest)

You need to firstly accept this event, it will remove the music you have already got on the collection so you don’t get a head start.

If you say no you can start it from the goal tab.

How do I place an infant on the floor to play the xylophone? You need to click on the baby in a crib with an adult sim and select pick up infant, then click on the sim holding the baby and select let infant crawl so they can be placed on the floor to use the xylophone

12 PIECES OF MUSIC = 1 ONESIE PACK

TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:

– have 3 babies to complete this event, 3 is the maximum amount of xylophones you can buy from the promotions r us store

-have at least one baby at level 6 already (you don’t need a baby at level 6 now if you have already completed this hobby before) or working on getting to level 6 so all music pieces are unlocked, you may need to use LPs to speed your way through the levels to have the chance to complete the collection.

-if you do want to speed it up, wait 10 minutes until the timer is 2 hours 59 minutes or below then it will only cost you 2LPs instead of 3! Check out how I earn LP here

-remember to click start new collection on the musical expressions hobby collection once you have got all the pieces

-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.

and don’t panic! This event will probably return again one day!
