Adding/Creating an Adult

You can add an adult when you have an empty house, click on the green house icon and select add new sim (you can only do this if you are within the sim limit otherwise it will be greyed out):

To be able to age a teen to an adult you need to complete the Adulthood Quest

You will then be able to bake a birthday cake on a stove which takes 24 hours to bake and costs 5LP. Once the birthday cake is ready click on it to store and then you can click on your teenager and select the option to have birthday, they will then age into an adult. You can then take them to a wardrobe to change their hair and clothes. This post explains in more detail birthday cake ageing

If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest then you no longer need to bake birthday cakes, they will age automatically.

Ageing an Adult?

If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest when your adult reaches the end of that life stage they will age automatically to a senior sim. Before this, you need to complete the Seniors Quest and bake a birthday cake to be able to age your adult to a senior sim.
