The Sims Freeplay- Ghost of Christmas Presents: 2025 Christmas Quest

Christmas seems to be on track this year, will your sims get the chance to have a holiday instead? No chance! Join them for this 13 day quest from the 7th December! There are 13 sets of goals to complete in the 13 day time limit so there is a set of goals to complete each day, if you complete the quest in the time limit you win the Plümberg house template! This quest is basically a rerun of the 2020 A Christmas Carole Quest but with a few different tasks and different prizes unlocked.

You have to wait between completing each set so you complete one set per day, after completing a set you have to wait for a certain amount of time before being able to continue with the quest (the time varies depending on how long you take) unless you are behind then you will move straight onto the next set once you have completed the previous. You can use social points to skip the daybreak but it is very expensive:

TIP: there are lots of tasks that need to be done more than once, you can use LP to skip all these tasks or you can still use the maximum sims you can to complete the task but remember if you just use one sim you will run out of time (the amount of sims you need to complete an action will probably vary depending on the level you are on but the amounts shown in this post are the maximum)

First set: Complete the first set of goals to unlock the Yule Circle pack (at the end of the post you can find all the information and pictures of all the prizes)

SECOND SET IS COMPLETE

  • Go to Santa’s workshop (using the sleigh in the park)

  • Prepare for disastrous news- 3 minutes [inspired: 2 mins 51 secs]

  • Question Santa- 4 hours [inspired: 3 hrs 48 mins]

  • Inspect workstations 10 times- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs] (can skip all with 9 LP- need to earn LP quickly?) NOTE: there are only 6 workstations at the workshop but you can click on them with more than one sim at the same time

  • Inspect present machine- 2 hours [inspired: 1 hr 54 mins]

  • Inspect Santa’s letter pile- 10 hours [inspired: 9 hrs 30 mins]

THIRD SET IS COMPLETE

FOURTH SET IS COMPLETE

Sixth set: Complete the sixth set of goals to unlock the Nordic Feast Hall Pack

  • Talk to Pepper in the park- 1 hour [inspired: 57 mins] Can’t find Pepper? Pepper should appear on the simtracker so you can whistle them to the park

  • Give Pepper some warmthfullness therapy- 10 minutes [inspired: 9 mins 30 secs]

  • Check Simbnb confirmation- 24 minutes [inspired: 23 mins] (on a computer)

Plümberg is the house template you unlock if you complete this quest in the time limit, it is actually 3 houses in 1. Carole can be found in the house on the left, Fran the ghost is in the house on the right and our sims simbnb is the house in the middle where Paul the ghost can be found:

You will find Plümberg under the driveway homes tab on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free, after that the cost in simoleons depends on how many houses you have already built. You can add up to 4 cars to this house lot!

The premium house is the same you visit during the quest, it is 3 townhouses in one house and is located in a beautiful Scandinavian style town with wintry scenery. The main house is the same on the standard and premium residence, the premium has an extra 4 buildings behind the main house:

The Ghost of Christmas Presents Christmas 2025 Quest (not available yet) will begin on 7th December for 13 days, there is a set of goals to complete each day and you will unlock a prize when you complete each day

What else is new?

  • Enhanced lighting is now available in some community spaces, the park, community market, influence island events and the nightclub and because it is Christmas you will also see the enhanced lighting at the Ice Palace and Santa’s Workshop while completing the Christmas Quest

NOTE: if you do not see the enhanced lighting already on your home lots you will not see it at the community spaces (this feature only works on newer devices)

  • From this update you will notice that some community spaces you build will require upgrade tools:

Upgrade tools are hammers, nails and wood which you can earn by completing timed requests at the community market:

These upgrade tools are the same tools needed to update the community market storage. You need to complete these requests in a certain amount of time, time varies depending on the task and once you have completed a special customer request you will need to wait for the next one to arrive:

The idea is that it will cost you less simoleons to build the community spaces so you can spend those simoleons on more important things!

  • You will be able to claim 4 different chalet outfits for your feminine adult sims, these are only available for 2 days each (first outfit available for 3 days) and can be claimed for free from your inbox from 7am UTC.
    • 1st Chalet Outfit: 24th- 27th November
    • 2nd Chalet Outfit: 27th- 29th November
    • 3rd Chalet Outfit: 29th November- 1st December
    • 4th Chalet Outfit: 1st- 3rd December

What else is new?

  • Daily Tasks- Weekly Tasks have been replaced with Daily Tasks.

You can find them in the new bunny button on the middle left of the screen:

There are 9 tasks to complete each day with tasks such as ‘log in’, ‘fulfill 1 community market order’ and ‘fall asleep in the bath’:

Completing each task will earn 1000 XP (and sometimes you also earn a bonus 100 XP)

If you complete all 9 tasks you will earn mystery keys and more XPs (the amount varies depending on which day you are on) If you complete all 9 tasks every day you will increase your streak and earn more rewards.

    • Day 1– 1 Mystery Box Key and 1000 XP
    • Day 2– 1 Mystery Box Key and 1000 XP
    • Day 3– 2 Mystery Box Keys and 1000 XP
    • Day 4– 1 Mystery Box Key and 1500 XP
    • Day 5– 1 Mystery Box Key and 1500 XP
    • Day 6– 1 Mystery Box Key and 1500 XP
    • Day 7– 3 Mystery Box Keys and 2000 XP

If you miss a day you will go back to Day 1, a new day starts at 10am local time

Keys can be spent on mystery boxes, which can now be found in the online store, there are also a few new boxes available for a short amount of time:

If you start the 9 day pregnancy event anytime during the time frame you have the chance of earning the maternity items in that pack if you complete the event in the time limit, for example if you start a pregnancy event on the 4th October and complete in the time limit you will earn the items above

FREEZER BUNNY HUNT: Suns Out, Buns Out

On the 14th July you may have seen this fridge prize in your inbox:

This was a teaser for the Freezer Bunny Hunt. There are 3 types of Freezer Bunnies which will be hiding in SimTown and each day of this new update we will receive clues (and a small gift) to our inbox to help us find the hidden Freezer Bunnies at different locations around SimTown.

This is a community event so if one player finds a bunny then that counts for everyone playing (you may not have access to some locations if you are a new player)

NOTE: there is no interaction when you find the bunny, it just needs to be in the frame on your device to be counted

There are 3 phases, each lasting 6 days. If all bunnies have been found at the end of the 6 days we will all receive a prize to our inbox.

Phase 1– 21st July
