Completing this quest allows your sims to get married and if you complete within 1 day you unlock the wedding bundle. If you don’t complete within the time you can still complete the quest and get your sims married you just won’t get the wedding outfits prize.
NOTE: the key to completing this quest is to not be romantic until you are told because if you become partners too soon you will be unable to continue this quest with those two sims

- Quick Rinse- 5 seconds (using a shower)
- Get 2 sims in one house (use the whistle on the simtracker to bring another sim to this house)
- Be romantic with another sim- 1 minute [inspired: 57 seconds] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Make an espresso- 20 seconds [inspired: 19 secs] (if blue footprints appear read this post)
- Flirt with another sim- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Form a budding romance (be romantic again, a pop up will appear to say they are in a budding relationship)
- Have 2 sims watch a rom-com- completes straight away
Click watch a rom-com on TV with one sim then the other sim clicks join in, this will complete as soon as the second sim starts, so you can cancel the action before they finish by clicking on the sim and selecting the red x on the action progress bar
- Form a dating relationship (be romantic 3 times until this happens)
- Make a sim kiss another sim on the cheek- 2 seconds (needs to be dating to do this, don’t become partners until you have done this!!)
- Send a sim home (click on the house with the arrow inside it button on the simtracker)
- ‘Fantasize’ in a bed- 5 minutes [inspired: 3 mins 48 secs]
- Have 2 sims in the same house
- Form a partner relationship (be romantic 6 times until this happens)
- Have 2 sims woohoo- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Get engaged (propose marriage- 6 seconds) (select the interaction between two sims)
- ‘Announce wedding’ on phone- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs]
First phone is free in the electronics section of home store
- Have 2 engaged sims move in together- 4 seconds (select the interaction between two sims)

You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 7 before you can start this quest

Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
How do I get two sims in a house?

Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
Why can’t my sim kiss another sim on the cheek?
You have probably been romantic too many times, you need to be dating to get this interaction, if they are already partners you won’t be able to do this task. To get around this you need a sim to be romantic to a different sim until they are dating so you can complete this goal
How do I send a sim home?
Click on the house with the arrow in it button next to a sim who isn’t busy on the simtracker
I can’t be romantic, why?
You cannot be romantic until you get the goal in this quest to be romantic
What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?

Yes you have to finish it to be able to marry your sims before you can move onto the next quest

how do you complete the 3 star bed
Go the the home store, click on the bedroom section, find the bed that has 3 stars (3000) and place it in a house.
Where is woohoo..
It is an interaction between two sims, they need to be partners for you to get the woohoo interaction.
Where can you find the wedding dress and suit after you’ve completed it in time? 😮

As long as you stay away from the house you are doing them in until the goal appears it is fine

How do you get two Sims to yes to the ring???? I have been stuck on that part for a very very very long time. Please help
One sim needs to propose to the other sim (once at the right relationship stage click propose) then rings will appear, you will get a free eternity ring to use for the first time so click on that and they will say yes
How do I complete the 3 star bed task?
It says I can’t buy a 3 star bed until I’m level 9 so is my only option to try and level up?
There should be a pink and orange striped bed called sleep around the clock and costs 3000 that you can buy in the bedroom section
So I got the eternity ring, but it says I don’t have enough lifestyle points… Supposedly its free, how much does it cost?
It should be free, it is the first option in the list.

Just restarted my game an hour ago. When I sent the sim home, it went straight to grow onions. Not sure if it’s a glitch and the expand/ 3 star bed steps will come later, or they got rid of them completely. Just a heads up.

I finished the quest in time but i only received the mans outfit and the females hair

im stuck in the partners phase. ive bein romantic a bunch of times. did the coffee the movie now it tells me the night is coming to an end be romantic to form a dating relationship.
You have jumped ahead being romantic too many times, dating comes before partners so the only thing you can do is make two other sims form a dating relationship.
Will they still have a successful marriage if I jumped ahead too quickly?
Yes but you can’t use them to complete those goals

Are you on the goal yet to be romantic? If you aren’t then that is why you can’t do that yet.

Strange, I don’t know why it isn’t working, try a few more times, if it still isn’t working I think you should contact EA.
You need to add a neighbour who has a fire hydrant or you can skip the task with 5LPs.

I just found the answer somewhere else and tried it. Instead of a nap (approx 5 minutes) you need to rest/sleep in a bed for 27 minutes. Not my idea of a short nap, but it did work 😊
I started completing the love is in the air quest to get the free outfits. I am still within the 2 day mark, but the pink minute timer has disappeared. Can I still receive the tux and dress as a prize?
If the quest timer has gone then the time limit is probably up so you won’t get the outfits, sorry!

I know I am commenting a lot lately, I love your site, it is incredibly helpful. I am working through a new game and have a few updates for this quest (they just love to change little things). I am using what the game has given me as far as items go unless otherwise noted, I have the winter update and am on an android device, quest started 12/17 and ended 12/18 🙂
Park is now built in tutorial, so this was one major change, but they also changed a bunch of the little things for some reason. Way easy to get done in the 2 day time limit. I built a 3rd house so I could have one work on the Christmas quest while I worked on this quest and was going to use that Sim plus the 4th I moved in after the couple moved in together towards the being in the same house task, but they ended up making it only 3 Sims, so you don’t have to build a 3rd house or make them move in together to have 4 Sims to get through this quest. They made it a little more natural in the work with what you have aspect.
Quick Rinse – 1 min
Get 2 Sims in one house
Be romantic with a Sim – 1 minute
Make espresso – 20 seconds – need to buy a coffee maker to do so
Flirt with another Sim – 5 minutes
Form a budding relationship – it only took me 20 seconds to get to this status (dance with Sim twice)
Have 2 Sims watch a movie together – 1 hour 50 minutes
Form a dating relationship
Make a Sim kiss another Sim on the cheek – 2 seconds
Send a Sim home
Have a catnap – 27 minutes
Grow onions – 7 hours
Have 2 Sims in the same house
Be romantic to another Sim – 1 minute
Deeply cleanse hands – 2 hours
Become partners – Dancing with them will take less time than being romantic
Woohoo – 5 minutes
Buy 2 roses – Still have free ones in the garden section, they stay free through the quest and thereafter, my other game at level 34 still has them free
Get engaged – They automatically give you the eternity ring, the other rings are not select-able
Make 2 engaged Sims move in together
Have 3 Sims in a house
Get married, build your relationship more before being able to do so – 6 seconds

I am trying to help my child you stared playing not knowing about quests. I think he passed the dating to partner missing the kiss. He completed all of it and there was also no simoleon sprout after he did the money quest. Do you restart or can you just restart new people? Thanks

Is this a timed quest? I’m on level 7 and have quest money on trees on task manager but it says queued tasks. I don’t know how to complete the task that I did not finish in love is in the air. My Sim is married but never got the wedding dress bc I didn’t have the shop open.
Yes, you have completed the quest if your sims are married
If you didn’t complete it in time you won’t get the wedding dresses
The 6 queued quest that I have are bread winner, 2.5 sims, ocean view estate, mysterious island, raider of lost artifacts, & need for steed. I don’t know how to get back to these quest in order to complete them. Please help
you can’t go back, the quest queue shows the quests that are still to come, you haven’t missed them you just have to complete quests in order

Hi just thought I would let you know I am currently doing this task on android, the woohoo only needs te be done once now and after getting engaged you have to chat about engagement on phone for 4 hours,

you need to do actions that will level you up quickly, try gardening and baking, at that level it shouldn’t take too long to get to level 9

Hi. I built the costume and swim store after I successfully completed this quest in the set time, but I don’t see any wedding outfits. Only outfits I see are the pirate one for males and the pirate and mummy ones for females. Could the reason why I don’t see any wedding outfits is because I built the store too late or something? I can’t see them 😔
