Main Quests have to be completed in the order they appear on this page, even if you are on a high enough level to unlock another one, the previous quest has to be completed first.

Frequently Asked Questions about Main Quests

I have missed a main quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in the order they appear in this post

Can I complete a main quest even though I am passed the level it unlocks at?
Yes, it will start automatically once previous quests have been completed

What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish a main quest?
Yes you have to finish it before you can move onto the next quest

I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests

Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete a quest in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one

What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work

Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal

Some times are really off/ different goals show for me, why is this?
This will be because the quest has been updated recently, I try my best to keep the posts up to date but it is difficult as I cannot redo every quest each time the game is updated. If you notice any changes please let me know so I can update the post

  1. I have a question, though It wasn’t complete I did the senior task ..When was asked to give the senior energy..She vanished…where did she go and how do I get her back?

  2. Quick question im on the toddler one can I go a head and buy the dollhouse and make the cake ahead of time? Will it be counted like the tutorial tasks id do a whole bunch of goals and when I sas finished with one it counted all the extra ones I completed

    • I will be posting it when I get to that quest, I’ve started the game again to post all the early quests and I’m only on level 10 right now so it won’t be up in 3 days but it will be up as soon as I finish it! 🙂

      • What happens if you can’t find the last artifact on the raiders quest? Can you not build anything on the island?

      • No you will not get the treasure chest for completing the quest in time but it’s very simple, you just need to do actions until you find one- it won’t take long, grow some peppers for 30 seconds or bake something quick, that will be the best way

  5. Heeyyy can you please helped me with the swimming pool quest? It’s driving me insane!!! I’ve built the swimming pool center and I am now supposed to “build or resize a swimming pool” but when I go on buy/build there is no swimming pool option?!

        I just started playing sims and feel a problem while saving my game. It wasn’t in the beginning but now sometimes when i close my game then open it up after sometime and i find my progress unsaved.
        Please Help because it was not in the begining.

  10. Hey, I just noticed a problem with my sims. Every time I try to send my sims to a neighbour’s town, when I click on a house/building all their mood icons (the parts with hunger, sleep etc) are drained and red so that my sims are ‘housebound’ and are forced to return home.
    This means that I can’t fulfill any of my social goals because my sims are always sent straight back home. I don’t know if this is a recent glitch or if I’m the only one experiencing this :((
    Any suggestions? thanks~

    • I’ve never heard that before, that must be a glitch, I’ve heard of when you go to a neighbours their sims are in a bad mood, are your sims in a good mood before you send them?

Hello .i need to know that i am on level 13th and i have to so the its all swimmingly quest ,and have to do the goal chillax in inflatable chair ,i have unlocked n built one swimming pool,made my sims swin n everything .but i cannot find the inflatable chair for this one goal,i dont see any “garden” area in the home store and in the “outdoor furniture “too ,the things i have been able to unlock so far dont show the inflatable chair. It might be cuz i m level less than 20,i heard the chair unlocks at level 20,but not sure wht to do now?to finish the goal, Can u please help???

    • Have you looked in the pool items section? I believe you have completed the swimming pool quest if you have built a pool, you should be able to find this section but you may be right, it may not be unlocked yet. You can skip the goal for 5LPs

  12. Howdy. You might want to switch the order of “A Quest for Toddlers” and “Need for Steed” in your list. They’re both level 11, but I’m at that point in the game right now, I just finished “Raiders of the Lost Artifacts”, and I’ve just been presented with “Need for Steed” (not the toddler quest). You currently have the toddler quest listed first.

      • The toddlers quest comes before need for steed bcuz I am on need for steed and already have toddlers sorry just thought that u should change order it might b different with different updates

      • Sorry but it’s correct, it doesn’t matter where you are in the game once you updated the need for steed was the next quest you had to do, (after you completed any quest you were already one) for example, I had done the life dreams quest but my next quest was still need for steed.
        This order will only really be completed accurate for those who have just started the game.

    I need to build / resize a swimming pool but i cant find the pool items at the beginning of garden tab like u mentioned earlier.

    • have you unlocked swimming pools yet? the first tab in the garden section is pool, using that you can build and resize pools (just like you build a house) but you need to complete the its going swimmingly quest first

    Also this quest don’t showed up to me

    All going swim not showed beacuse I built the swim center , I do what you said built fast.

    Preparing for Preteens- unlocks preteens (level 15)

    Also this not showed up 😦

    An Alien Concept: Weather Machine- unlocks the weather machine, snow park and winter clothing (level 16)

    Even this quest I don’t know why

    Multi Story Renovations- unlocks second and third floors (level 17)

    Also this I was in level 17 nothing showed up

    The good think coming age quest showed up to me

    Now I am in the road of fame

    • How long have you been playing this game? If you have been playing it for over a year that may be why you haven’t seen these first few quests as they have only been added recently, I didn’t get a lot of these quests when I started playing either.

    • So for thee people that have play for a long times do not they have any quest to do? What did they give those who started say a year or more ages? What did you do then?

      For instance, how did Sims marry and have babies back then? And did u have multi floors?

      • My sims could just get married and have babies without doing the quests, I had to do the multi story quest though when they brought multi floors out, they didnt have more than one floor for ages!
        We had quests when they brought out new updates, I remember doing the all going swimmingly quest when we first got pools 🙂

    • Sorry my game center has the max of 500 friends already! :/ you can find neighbours via the neighbours needed page at the top of the screen 🙂

  22. I Use to play this game a year or 2 ago and I uploaded my old profile thru cloud but I’m in level 34 how go I complete the old quest since I’m pass those levels already?

    • if you played years ago you probably won’t be able to access most of the quests, so you probably already have babies in your town so the two and a half sims quest would be pointless. but you should be able to get the latest quests! 😀

  23. Hi! I need to know if you have iCloud and you want to transfer you game to another device (iPhone) will your old divice still have the records or whatever you call it.. I’m also wondering if I delete the game and I get it again will I have to start over?

    • I’m not entirely sure, if you are deleting everything from your device then that should go too really.
      If you delete it, as long as you connect to the cloud before you delete it you can get the game back

  24. Always wondered why it is that when you start planting/ baking at the start it takes away some money. Do we get that back? What is the reason they do that?

    • Have you looked when you bake or plant something, there are two prices- the top one is how much it costs to use it (thats why buying at the supermarket is effective as its cheaper) and the bottom is how much you get for growing/baking it 🙂

  25. I have to say your blog is the most useful thing I’ve ever found for playing this game! I check this all the time when I do the quests and it’s really helped me complete the quests in a timely manner. I just want to know how do you know when ea puts new quests or challenges like the ring of fire? I use an android tablet and I have to manually update the game to get the updates so I totally missed the ring of fire challenge. Thank you!

    • Thank you 🙂 im glad it helps! I keep an eye on their Facebook page, and there is usually an advert when you start up the game telling you a new update is coming soon 🙂

  27. Hi how do you access quests if you’ve passed that level, like im on level 11 and i dont think the option even came up for a bread winners quest. Also have you got any money or life point cheats? None of the ones i’ve tried has worked.

    • Have you got the latest update of the game? If so those quests should appear once the quest you are on right now has been completed. (look in your goal tab at the quest queue to see what quests are coming up)
      Don’t cheat, it messes up your game.

      • Ahhaha lol yea i think it was cus i never finished the first quest which im working on again now. No cheating 😦 everything takes soooo long!!!! Lol

  28. Can u help… I started up the game again after a yr, and I’ve updated it. All seemed fine but now, I’m stuck in the stitches quest because I can’t cook a pizza! In the queue I can see the baking quest which I need to be able to bake. What do I do? I’m really stuck!

  29. So i”m on the new thanksgiving quest and it completely skipped a goal where i was supposed to call guests and it went to the next where i have to be nice to a mysterious sim which isnt in my game because i couldnt call the guests what do i do?

    • That sounds like a technical issue, unfortunately I can’t fix it and as there isn’t that long left in the quest I don’t think EA would be able to help you in time- but the prize isn’t that good anyway!

  30. Also, this doesnt have to just apply to the new quest. sometimes i have had this happen where it acts as if i already did that one goal and go to the next, and it never affected me much since that goal does not create the next, but this time it does create the next goal. so now im stuck.

    • Yes the game does that sometimes, but its very annoying when you need to do that part to access the next part, if this was a longer quest I would get you to contact EA but will 11hours left I don’t think they will help you in time

  31. i didnt do the “two and a half sim” quest, i accidentally skipped it i think, now i cant find the quest anymore.. do i need to restart the whole game to do this again????

    • You can’t skip a quest, have you done love is in the air? or money grows on trees yet? or bread winner? if not two and a half sims hasn’t appeared yet, you need to complete those other quests first.

  32. Thanks for the quests, I just started today and am looking at ‘Love is in the Air’ for the quest goals I’m advance. Also, is it just me, or is my tutorial different from yours? I don’t have dogs and only have 2 sims at the end of the tutorial.

  39. With the Book of Spells Quest, I have finished the ‘Read weird world of wands’ at wizards house and started the ‘Explain to the wizard’ task. I have saved and exited the game. When I open the game, it jumps back to finishing the previous task. I have tried to just tap the home button and go back into the game and it will be fine. I have gone through the tasks until I got to the ‘distract a mummy’ task and saved and exited. When I went back into the game, it happened again.

    Is this a glitch in the Book Of Spells Quest or did anyone else have this issue?

  40. I recently started playing after not for maybe 2 years. It’s giving the quests for The Mysterious Island but in my queue are ones before it like bread winner, money grows on trees, etc. So I’m wondering if when I complete The Mysterious Island will I start back at bread winner?

  44. I am trying to make a movie at my neighbours, my Sim picks up the movie camera and puts it straight down again, just will not start the quest, can you help? It’s in an empty lot, does that make a difference?

I moved my teen sim out of their parents house because I wanted a big family with more children so I made the teen best friends with a new person who has a small house and then deleted that new sim so the teen could have moved out there parents house and live by the self but there surname changed is there another way (except for turning into an adult) that I could move the teen sim out or have more than two children without changing their details
