This quest allows you to add babies to your town, you can only add babies to a house where a couple live (only 4 sims can live in a house at one time) If you complete this quest within the time limit you unlock the baby decoration pack. If you don’t complete within the time limit you can still complete this quest and unlock babies you just won’t get the baby decoration pack prize

You need to be good at time management with this quest as 1 task takes a day! (which gives you some practice for later quests!)
- Be nice to a sim- 1 minute
- Expand or create a room
- Spend S450 on wallpaper and flooring
- Read better farms and cradles magazine- 5 minutes (from pile of magazines in living room section, the first one is free)
- Have a double shot of coffee- 1 minute (if blue footprints appear read this post)
- Watch ‘Dr. Cots’ on TV- 5 minutes
- Build the children’s store- time and cost varies (need more money?)
Once you click build this can be quick completed for free so you don’t have to wait for it to build
- Buy a crib and place in a sims house (from the children’s store or infant section of buy mode)- the first white crib is free
If purchased from the children’s store you can find the crib in the infant section of the inventory, make sure you place the crib in the house you want the baby to be added to
- Add a baby- 1 day
- Click on blue add sim symbol on the crib
- Click add on the pop up, the baby will take a day to arrive
- After a day the add symbol will now be green, click on this
- You will be taken to create a sim, name and customise the baby before clicking on the green tick in the corner to add them to your town

You need to move the magazines to a location where the sims can access them, as blue footprints appear when they can’t reach the object you want them to use

no, its just a decoration.
Can you choose gender and to have twins?
you can choose the gender but you can’t really have twins, the only way is to add a baby then once that baby has arrived you can add another baby

Yes, you can only have 4 sims living in a house at one time so if you already have 4 sims there you will not be able to add a baby to that house.
If you buy the children’s store before you’re prompted to do so will you still complete the task?
you cannot build the childrens store until you get the goal telling you to build it.
What can I do if I don’t want a baby yet ?
Don’t complete the quest yet, but if you don’t complete in the time limit you will not receive the prize.

The table you have placed them on the sims probably are unable to access, you need to move the table or put the magazines on a different surface so they can reach the magazines and use them.
Hi! I completed a weekly challenge and won a crib from the mystery box but then when I went to my inventory it wasn’t there… I haven’t completed the full baby quest yet (cuz I haven’t built the shop yet as I’m still waiting for a previous lot to finish being built).. So I thought perhaps it will only pop up in my inventory when I have built the store? Do you perhaps know? Thanks so much!
The prize should appear once you have completed the two and a half sims quest as this quest unlocks the baby tab in your home store
Hi, I have filled all the steps and completed building the children’s store. I then bought a crib ‘in’ the children’s store but now I can’t find it. It is not in my inventory and if I select the baby icon from my store I have to ‘pay’ for the crib again. Not sure what to do….
It is definitely not in the baby section of your inventory? It should be in there if you brought it. Did a pop up appear telling you it can be found in the inventory after you brought it?

I don’t known how to update the game so every season like Easter, Christmas and other holidays I have to restarts the whole game, so how do I update the game so I didn’t have to start all over?

Hi, I’m now level 39, and the up coming event ‘Baby onesie event” requirements is to complete two quests 1- “the two and half sims” which I have not done, and other one is 2-“Nanny knows best” I have done this quest , I won’t be able to do this event if I did not complete the two and half sims quest. What should I do? And I have no quest now, I have done all of them but not ” the two and half sims”
You should contact EA to see if they can sort this out as I am unable to fix technical issues, do this as soon as possible otherwise you may not be able to do the event.

The upcoming baby onesie event says I haven’t yet completed the Two and a Half Sims quest, but I’m like Level 47 and my sims have had heaps of babies! Any suggestions?

Ok so this is weird I’m at level 36 on the road to fame quest, my sims can have babies but this quest was never available to me. I never won any of those prize packs or had the opportunity too. Have you used a cheat? If so it can cause problems like this, the only way to fix it if you have cheated would be to restart the game. If you haven’t cheated you can contact EA to see if they can fix this for you but they will not help you if you have cheated.

You will need to complete the quest to unlock babies but you don’t need to complete it in the time limit.

Yes if you add a baby you will complete the quest, you cannot miss a quest though.

Sometimes i dont have time to finish or do a time limit quest, so i was wondering whether it was possible to pause a quest before it starts coz i know that you can’t pause a quest whilst you are doing it.
No, you cannot pause a main quest before it starts, all you can do is stay on the previous main quest- so if the time limit is already up for the current main quest you are on, just stay on that quest until you want to move onto the next one.
I cant build the anything which is making the quest impossible all it says is sorcerous supplies is already under construction in sim town how do i fix that then i can comeplete the quest

Are the prices you pay to add a baby different every time? Do they become higher and is it randomly simoleons or lp?
The LP amount stays the same but once you complete the life dreams and legacies quest they cost simoleons and that price varies depending on how many sims you have in your town as the more sims you have the more it costs to add a baby.
