Things are heating up for Christmas this year but can your sims stop Simtown from becoming Sandtown?! There are 13 sets of goals to complete in the 13 day time limit so there is a set of goals to complete each day from the 12th December, if you complete the quest in the time limit you win the Claus Compound house template
You have to wait between completing each set so you complete one set per day, after completing a set you have to wait for a certain amount of time before being able to continue with the quest (the time varies depending on how long you take) unless you are behind then you will move straight onto the next set once you have completed the previous. You can use social points to skip the daybreak but it is very expensive:

Times may vary depending on the star rating an item has and whether or not your sims are inspired (I only have the times for an inspired sim so each task will take slightly longer with a sim who isn’t inspired)
First set: Complete the first set of goals to unlock the Fancy Bedside Lamp pack (at the end of the post you can find all the information and pictures of all the prizes)
- Place 5 Christmas Decorations- you can find these in the featured tab of the home store, the cheapest are the reindeer that cost S500 each (it should work if you place stored items from your inventory)
- Investigate weather outside at the X- 57 minutes
- Check TV for weather news- 1 hour 35 minutes
- Call Pepper from a phone- 30 minutes
- Go to the park and talk to Pepper- 38 minutes
- Wait for sleigh- 4 hours 26 minutes (X in park)
FIRST SET IS COMPLETE
- Wait for day 2 (come back tomorrow for the next set of goals, you need to wait a certain amount of time to start the next set, the time depends on when you completed the first set but you can start the next day early by skipping the day break for a large amount of social points) NOTE: you will not get this goal if you are behind in completing the goals, it will go straight to the next goal once you complete the first set

- Go to Claus Compound (using sleigh in park)
- Speak to Santa- 14 minutes
- Ask Santa for proof- 29 minutes
- Play volleyball with Santa- 1 hour 16 minutes (click on Santa)
- Research Christmas council- 1 hour (using a computer, you don’t have to use the 1 star computer at the Compound)
- Read about council charter 9 times using 9 sims– 8 hours 4 minutes (using a bookshelf) (can skip all for large amount of LP- need to earn LP quickly?)
- Call Pepper- 30 minutes
SECOND SET IS COMPLETE
- Wait for day 3 (come back tomorrow for the next set of goals, you need to wait a certain amount of time to start the next set, the time depends on when you completed the second set but you can start the next day early by skipping the day break for a large amount of social points) NOTE: you will not get this goal if you are behind in completing the goals, it will go straight to the next goal once you complete the second set

- Hug Ice Queen- 29 minutes (in the park)
- Ask Ice Queen about vote- 1 hour 6 minutes
- Brainstorm vote reversal plan- 2 hours 23 minutes (Ice Queen)

FOURTH SET IS COMPLETE

Thirteenth Set: Claus Compound
You will find Claus Compound under the driveway homes tab on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free, after that the cost in simoleons depends on how many houses you have already built.
This house comes with a garage that will fit 4 cars! The other three car parking spaces in the garage need to be unlocked by purchasing with simoleons:
- Additional Space One: S250,000
- Additional Space Two: S750,000
- Additional Space Three: S1,500,000
Once you purchase an additional space you will be able to add another car but you need to have more than one adult/senior sim living in this house to add more than one car otherwise it will just switch their car to the new one you have just brought. For example if you wanted 3 cars in this house you need 3 adult or senior sims living in this house.
The house is exactly the same on the standard and premium residence, the only thing that is different is the garden:
This house template is on a brand new, amazing looking lot. It is meant to be Santa’s LA home.
This lot included a huge pool that your sims can use. You can also find the mailbox by the wall at the front of the house:
You can’t edit the pool or anything outside the normal grid area (18×18 on standard and 36×18 on premium)
I really like this house, I personally would build it on the standard residence rather than premium as the pool isn’t any bigger on the premium so you just have empty space at the end and the garden on the premium is disappointing.

Can someone explain why the christmas warming event not coming up on my game
Have you updated your game? You need the latest update to begin this quest.
What will happen if I missed the day to do the task? Can I still get the house?
You have to complete each day before you can move onto the next one so if you don’t finish within the 13 day time limit you won’t get the house this time. They do bring back these events so you should be able to try again one day.
I’m stuck on the first task. More than 5 Xmas decorations placed and nothing given. Some bought some earned from influence island. Is this a glitch? Wasn’t specified you had to buy them and many are expensive.
Influence island prizes don’t count, it’s only the normal Christmas decorations that are available every year that will complete this. I’d recommend buying the reindeers from the outdoor decorations section as they are only S500 each.

You’re very welcome! I asked the makers for you and they tested it out and the boost appears to be working fine, the boost works by decreasing the quest times by 20%, hopefully it has been working for you for the past few days.
It’s too bad the volleyball net and diving boards don’t appear to come with the template and it’s outside the edit area. As gorgeous as it is, I can’t imagine using the pool much just to watch Sims frog swimming around.
The house does have some other nice features, though. Those modern bay windows are especially nice.
About those “multisim tasks”, where the number of Sims is not specified – if I have 32 adult/teens Sims in my town, do You know will it be possible to do it in one go? Or will I have to do it twice?
It should be possible to complete in one go with that many sims.
I noticed that for the tasks requiring an unspecified number of Sims, it starts with 3 and then goes up by 1 the next time you have to do it, so just divide by that number to know how many Sims you should use. This is useful especially if you need your other Sims for other tasks! 😉
I also noticed that they work a lot like similar tasks in SimChase events, where they’ll sometimes find 1 more. So if it’s 3, you’ll get a few Sims finding 4 occasionally.
In more detail:
– 3: The 1st instance is “Search for 36 collectible coins” > 36 ÷ 3 = 12. Use 12 Sims to be safe but you can usually get it done with 11 (since some find 1 more).
– 4: Then you have “Search for 64 machine parts” > 64 ÷ 4 = 14. Use 14 Sims to be safe but you can usually get it done with 13 (since some find 1 more).
– 5: Then you have “Find 105 fine prints” > 105 ÷ 5 = 21. Use 21 Sims to be safe but you can usually get it done with 20 (since some find 1 more).
– 6: Then you have “Research 156 reasons against YOLO” > 156 ÷ 6 = 26. Use 26 Sims to be safe but you can usually get it done with 25 (since some find 1 more).

Do you need to have 29 sims to complete this quest?
If you are on a lower level and have less sims available you won’t need as many as it says in this post, the amount in this post is the maximum amount you would need if you were at the highest level.
PSA: Don’t get extra sims for this quest! I think some of the tasks depend on how many sims you have. For example: I have 4 sims and I only have to open the fridge door 4 times.
The pool on this lot: I guess I can’t add the automatic pool cleaner? If not, does the pool require regular cleaning like pools within the editable area on other lots?
This pool doesn’t need cleaning.
I cant find the ice queen for task hug the ice queen

The Ice Queen will be at Claus Compound.
So I can’t use the pool at all after the quest? I built the house on a premium lot just for the extra space in the garden, but is this the reason why I can’t use the pool?
You can use the pool, click on it with a sim to go swimming. You won’t be able to edit the pool though as it is outside of the grid.
I cleared an existing lot, so I could put Santa Compound on it. Thought
I’d give my Sims a new home. But where do I go to get it? Not sure how to add this new home… any suggestions?
You will need to demolish the lot by clicking on it in simtown, if you have a sim who is living here already they will need to be relocated to another house first (if you have an empty house in town you can click on it and select relocate existing sim to move them) otherwise you won’t be able to delete it. Once the house is gone you can click on that lot and find the house in the catalogue that appears.
