The Hygge is where the Heart is Craft Challenge (not available yet) will begin on 6th January for 10 days, complete to unlock alpine cabin items and the Runestone Haven template (post coming soon!)

The Tudor & Scholar Craft Challenge (available now) will be returning on 25th November for 10 days, complete to unlock Tudor themed items and the Hamlet Hall template
The Daring Do’s Hair Hobby Event (not available yet) will be back on 12th December for 7 days, complete the fashion designer hobby to unlock hairstyles for adult sims
The SimTown Health Spa Craft Challenge (not available yet) will return on 22nd December for 10 days, complete to unlock spa items and the spa house template
The Urban Chic Hobby Event (not available yet) will be back on 12th January for 7 days, complete the fashion designer hobby to unlock outfits for your adult sims
What else is new?
- Enhanced lighting is now available in some community spaces, the park, community market, influence island events and the nightclub and because it is Christmas you will also see the enhanced lighting at the Ice Palace and Santa’s Workshop while completing the Christmas Quest
NOTE: if you do not see the enhanced lighting already on your home lots you will not see it at the community spaces (this feature only works on newer devices)
- From this update you will notice that some community spaces you build will require upgrade tools:
Upgrade tools are hammers, nails and wood which you can earn by completing timed requests at the community market:
These upgrade tools are the same tools needed to update the community market storage. You need to complete these requests in a certain amount of time, time varies depending on the task and once you have completed a special customer request you will need to wait for the next one to arrive:
The idea is that it will cost you less simoleons to build the community spaces so you can spend those simoleons on more important things!
- You will be able to claim 4 different chalet outfits for your feminine adult sims, these are only available for 2 days each (first outfit available for 3 days) and can be claimed for free from your inbox from 7am UTC.
- 1st Chalet Outfit: 24th- 27th November
- 2nd Chalet Outfit: 27th- 29th November
- 3rd Chalet Outfit: 29th November- 1st December
- 4th Chalet Outfit: 1st- 3rd December
