This template can be found under the driveway homes tab and built on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free then they cost simoleons depending on how many houses you have already built. You can add up to 4 cars on a driveway homes lot!

The other three car parking spaces need to be unlocked by purchasing with simoleons:

  • Additional Space One: S250,000
  • Additional Space Two: S750,000
  • Additional Space Three: S1,500,000

Once you purchase an additional space you will be able to add another car but you need to have more than one adult/senior sim living in this house to add more than one car otherwise it will just switch their car to the new one you have just brought. For example if you wanted 3 cars in this house you need 3 adult or senior sims living in this house.

The house is the same on the standard and the premium residence but the premium has a large patio area and swimming pool for the garden:

You also unlock:

Living Room Section: Walnut (S540,000) and Oak (58LP) Ornate Organs

Living Room and Fireplace Sections: Blue (S215,000) and Gray (25LP) Gaudy Fireplaces

Walls Section: Brown Gaudy (S275)

This live event isn’t really for me, I know the zebra heads and rugs are faux but I still don’t feel comfortable using them in any build.

Constructor Coins

You earn constructor coins by:

Personal Progress prizes

Completing Daily Goals

Coin Plant Patches

Earning Constructor Coins? Previously on these events I used social points on the Mega Spin Plant to win constructor points. I earn social points by completing the cooking hobby and earning LP, I can then turn the LP into SP using the social point plant on a normal garden patch- this was when it cost 5LP- the social point plant now costs 20LP so you may want to try the option below first instead:

Or you can use 450 candles for the Spin Plant (a good way to use up any spare candles) which will also earn you constructor coins but the amounts are less than they are from the Mega Spin Plant

What is the minimum and maximum amount of coins you can earn on the mega spin plant? The minimum is 10 and the maximum is 500

Now on the coin flower patch you can see the chances of getting the different combinations on each spin plant, click on the green i button to see:

Laura Craft? You may have noticed at the front of one of your houses there is a board with a bubble of a person holding arts and crafts items above it, this is Laura Craft, you can buy her for real money to help you complete the event. When you buy her, you select the item you want her to make from the options: 200 candles,  300 pottery, 450 jewelry or 500 glassware (the amounts seem to differ for most of you and I have no idea why that is!) (you will unlock all the options once you have unlocked all the stations) and you will be able to collect them after 2 hours.

Do I think she is worth it? They have improved Laura Craft a lot since the first event (although it would be great if she made constructor coins) she used to be able to collect every 8 hours, they have now changed this to 2 hours so she is more useful now so if you are struggling then you may want to splash out and give her a try but remember you will only get her for this event, you will have to buy her again to use her for a live event in the future. I personally don’t ever buy her, if I don’t manage to earn enough items or coins in the time limit I just wait until the next time the event is available!

If I brought Laura Craft in the last event do I get her for free or do I have to buy her again? You have to buy her again for this event.

Check out my Guide to Completing Live Events (including tips!) HERE!

Once the event is over it will convert your unused resources into simoleons, the conversion rate is half the amount of resources, for example, if you have 10,000 candles left over you will earn 5,000 simoleons, if you only have 1 of a resource left over you will only earn 1 simoleon. When a new live event becomes available you start from 0 resources

If I don’t complete this event this time will I have to start from the beginning when it returns? No, you will start from where you got to this time!

Guest Blog Post: How to Have Triplets in The Sims 4

Guest Blog post by Matt White

the links in this post will take you away from this site

The Sims 4, a life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts, offers a plethora of opportunities for players to live out their wildest fantasies.

One such opportunity is the ability to have triplets in the game, a feat that is both rare and challenging.

This article will delve into the various methods and strategies for achieving this, including the use of traits, cheats, and expansion packs.

The Legitimate Method

Step 1: Create Your Sims

The first step in having triplets in The Sims 4 is to create your Sims.

You’ll need at least one Sim who can become pregnant and another who can impregnate them.

It’s advisable to give your Sims the Romantic and Family-Oriented traits to make the process easier.

Step 2: Fertile Trait

After creating your Sims, you can give them the Fertile trait.

This trait increases the chances of having twins or triplets.

To do this, you’ll need to enter a cheat code, which is one of the few cheats that won’t disable any trophies or achievements.

Step 3: Maximize Romance

The next step is to maximize the romance between the two Sims.

This involves various interactions such as flirting, hugging, and kissing.

Once the romance bar is full, you’re ready to move on to the next step.

Step 4: Save Your Game

Before proceeding, it’s crucial to save your game.

This allows you to return to this point and try again if your Sim doesn’t end up having triplets.

Step 5: Try for a Baby

Now, it’s time to try for a baby. Select the “Try for Baby” option when clicking on your character’s bed.

Your Sim will take approximately three in-game days to give birth.

The Pay-to-Win Method

Step 1: Buy the City Living Expansion Pack

If you’re willing to spend some money, the City Living Expansion Pack offers an easier way to have triplets.

This pack introduces a new lot trait called “On Ley Line,” which significantly increases the chances of having twins or triplets.

Step 2: Apply the “On Ley Line” Trait

After installing the expansion pack, apply the “On Ley Line” trait to your desired lot.

This can be done in Build Mode.

Step 3: Follow the Legitimate Method

Once the trait is applied, follow the steps outlined in the legitimate method.

The only difference is that the “On Ley Line” trait will make it much easier to have triplets.

The Cheat Method

Step 1: Enable Cheats

The first step in using cheats to have triplets in The Sims 4 is to enable cheats.

To do this, press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheat console and then type testingcheats true.

Step 2: Use the Pregnancy Cheat

After enabling cheats, you can use the pregnancy.force_offspring_count cheat to set the number of babies your Sim will have.

You’ll need to get your Sim’s ID number first by using the sims.get_sim_id_by_name First Name Last Name cheat.

Once you have the ID, use the pregnancy cheat like this: pregnancy.force_offspring_count Sim ID 3.

The Expansion Pack Method

Step 1: Spa Day Game Pack

If you own the Spa Day game pack, you can give your Sim a Fertility Massage.

This massage grants a Fertility Boost Happy Moodlet that lasts for 12 hours, increasing the chances of having twins and triplets.

Step 2: Outdoor Retreat Pack

The Outdoor Retreat pack offers another way to increase fertility.

You can brew the Elixir of Fertility and have your Sim drink it. To make this elixir, you’ll need specific ingredients and a level 10 herbalism skill.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can purchase the Fertile Trait from the Rewards Store for 3,000 satisfaction points. This trait significantly increases the chances of having twins or triplets.

The Sims Freeplay- Chocolatier Halloween Hobby Event

THIS EVENT IS OVER

The time limited hobby event to unlock Halloween costumes is back! If you have already completed it (or the Halloween Quest they were originally from) you won’t get this event again, if not then you need to complete the chocolatier hobby 7 times in 7 days to unlock all the costumes.

You need to firstly accept this event, click yes on the pop up then you can buy a chocolatier bench from the promotions r us store if you have never done this hobby before, you can buy up to 15:

They can then be found in your inventory under hobby and career items so you can place them in your house.

For more information on the Chocolatier Hobby check out this post

12 CHOCOLATES= 1 COSTUME PACK

TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:

-buy as many chocolatier benches as you can, 15 is the maximum!

-have a sim in a neighbours town so you can have an extra sim working on it

-have at least one sim working on getting to level 6 so all chocolates are unlocked (you only need one sim to reach level 6) you can use LPs to speed your way through the levels- I waited until the time was 1 hour 59 minutes and used 1 LP to speed up one sim so he reached level 6, levelling up in this hobby is quick so it shouldn’t take you too long!

-if you want to speed it up, wait at least 15 minutes until the timer is 2 hours 59 minutes or below then it will only cost you 2LP instead of 3! This post may help if you want a quick way to earn LPs.

-remember to click start new collection on the top of the hobby collection list once you have got all the chocolates otherwise you won’t find any new items, this post tells you how to do that.

-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.

Prizes:

The outfits can be found in the wardrobe in the outfits section, if you cannot find one of the outfits you may be looking in the wardrobe with the wrong sim as each outfit is only available for one age group and most only for one gender, for example the Scarecrow Pumpkin can only be found in the wardrobe for a male teen.

The house is the same on the standard and the premium residence, the premium has a back garden with extra pool, hot tub and garden furniture:

I really love the exterior of this house- you all know how much I love pink! I was just hoping for a bit more pastel colours on the interior!

You also unlock:

Flooring: Honey Pastel Tile (S700)

Bathroom: Pine (S104,500) and Ash (10LP) Pastel Baths

Outdoor Furniture: Pink (S208,000) and Peach (23LP) Pastel Hot Tubs

Hairstyles for adult sims
