Creating a Senior

To be able to age an adult into a senior you need to complete the Seniors Quest

You will then be able to bake a birthday cake on a stove which takes 24 hours to bake and costs 5LP. Once the birthday cake is ready click on it to store and then you can click on your adult and select the option to have birthday, they will then age into a senior. You can then take them to a wardrobe to change their hair and clothes. This post explains in more detail birthday cake ageing

If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest then you no longer need to bake birthday cakes, they will age automatically.

  • Hygiene- use a shower, bath or sink

Ageing a Senior?

If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest when your seniors life cycle is up, they will pass into the afterlife and will be removed from the game.

👍 Seniors have 8 different hobbies to choose from, they can also bake and garden.

👎 Seniors can’t work, they don’t have many clothes to choose from and they all look the same!

Adding/Creating an Adult

You can add an adult when you have an empty house, click on the green house icon and select add new sim (you can only do this if you are within the sim limit otherwise it will be greyed out):

If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest when your adult reaches the end of that life stage they will age automatically to a senior sim. Before this, you need to complete the Seniors Quest and bake a birthday cake to be able to age your adult to a senior sim.

Creating a Teenager – Needs – Activities for Teenagers – Relationships – Ageing a Teenager

Creating a Teenager

To be able to age a preteen into a teenager you need to complete the Teenagers Quest

You will then be able to bake a birthday cake on a stove which takes 24 hours to bake and costs 5LP. Once the birthday cake is ready click on it to store and then you can click on your preteen and select the option to have birthday, they will then age into a teen. You can then take them to a wardrobe to change their hair and clothes. This post explains in more detail birthday cake ageing

If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest then you no longer need to bake birthday cakes, they will age automatically.

and how to fulfil them

Teens can look after themselves without an adult to help using the items below to increase their needs:

  • Hunger- use a fridge or eat a meal
  • Bladder- use a toilet
  • Energy- use a bed, chair or coffee machine
  • Hygiene- use a shower, bath or sink
  • Social- talk to another sim or use a phone
  • Fun- lots of things including watching TV, using a trampoline and gardening

Ageing a Preteen?

If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest when your preteen reaches the end of that life stage they will age automatically to a teenage sim. Before this, you need to complete the Teenagers Quest and bake a birthday cake to be able to age your preteen to a teenage sim.

Creating a Toddler

To be able to age an infant (baby) into a toddler you need to complete the Quest for Toddlers

You will then be able to bake a birthday cake on a stove which takes 24 hours to bake and costs 5LP. Once the birthday cake is ready click on it to store and then you can click on your baby and select the option to have birthday, they will then age into a toddler. You can then take them to a wardrobe to change their hair and clothes. This post explains in more detail birthday cake ageing

If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest then you no longer need to bake birthday cakes, they will age automatically.

and how to fulfil them

A toddler needs some help from an adult to keep their needs fulfilled using the items below:

  • Hunger- another sim needs to interact with your sim and give them food or an adult can cook food and they can grab a plate
  • Bladder- use a toilet
  • Energy- sleeping in a bed (there are cute mini beds for toddlers) or sitting in a chair
  • Hygiene- an adult is required to bathe the toddler (if it doesn’t work sometimes it helps if the bath isn’t against the wall)
  • Social- talking to another sim or animals
  • Fun- playing with toys including kiddie pool, blackboard and a sandpit!

👍 I love the way toddlers walk, they are just so cute!

👎 They do need looking after which can be quite time consuming, especially if you only have a 1 star bath as it takes 5 minutes. It would be great if they could use the sink- maybe using a little stool!
