YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE MONEY GROWS ON TREES QUEST BEFORE YOU CAN BEGIN THIS QUEST
Completing this quest allows your sims to get married and if you complete within 1 day you unlock the wedding bundle. If you don’t complete within the time you can still complete the quest and get your sims married you just won’t get the wedding outfits prize.
NOTE: the key to completing this quest is to not be romantic until you are told because if you become partners too soon you will be unable to continue this quest with those two sims

Please note times may vary depending on the star rating an item has.
- Quick Rinse- 5 seconds (using a shower)
- Get 2 sims in one house (use the whistle on the simtracker to bring another sim to this house)
- Be romantic with another sim- 1 minute [inspired: 57 seconds] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Make an espresso- 20 seconds [inspired: 19 secs] (if blue footprints appear read this post)
- Flirt with another sim- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Form a budding romance (be romantic again, a pop up will appear to say they are in a budding relationship)
- Have 2 sims watch a rom-com- completes straight away
Click watch a rom-com on TV with one sim then the other sim clicks join in, this will complete as soon as the second sim starts, so you can cancel the action before they finish by clicking on the sim and selecting the red x on the action progress bar
- Form a dating relationship (be romantic 3 times until this happens)
- Make a sim kiss another sim on the cheek- 2 seconds (needs to be dating to do this, don’t become partners until you have done this!!)
- Send a sim home (click on the house with the arrow inside it button on the simtracker)
- ‘Fantasize’ in a bed- 5 minutes [inspired: 3 mins 48 secs]
- Have 2 sims in the same house
- Form a partner relationship (be romantic 6 times until this happens)
- Have 2 sims woohoo- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs] (select the interaction between two sims)
- Get engaged (propose marriage- 6 seconds) (select the interaction between two sims)
- ‘Announce wedding’ on phone- 5 minutes [inspired: 4 mins 45 secs]
First phone is free in the electronics section of home store
- Have 2 engaged sims move in together- 4 seconds (select the interaction between two sims)
NOTE: the sim who lives in the house you want them both in needs to ask the other sim to move in
- Have 3 sims in one house

You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 7 before you can start this quest

How do I get two sims in a house?

Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
Why can’t my sim kiss another sim on the cheek?
You have probably been romantic too many times, you need to be dating to get this interaction, if they are already partners you won’t be able to do this task. To get around this you need a sim to be romantic to a different sim until they are dating so you can complete this goal
How do I send a sim home?
Click on the house with the arrow in it button next to a sim who isn’t busy on the simtracker
I can’t be romantic, why?
You cannot be romantic until you get the goal in this quest to be romantic

I am currently waiting for my phone call, to everyone about my engagement, to end. I have 31 hours left with 4 sims and 13,000 simoleons. I was saving up to buy a nice house but now i am curious of how much the next few steps till getting married is like. I already have my park but not the costumes store and will need 2 more sims to get that store. Should I build 2 small houses and purchase the store while waiting for the phone call to end? And how much simoleons will it cost to get married and move the couple in together? Do i have to get married before the time is up or is that after the quest is fufilled? Any advice would be appreciated.
I wouldn’t waste any money at this time on building expensive houses or the costume and swim store, most of the quests require you to build places and you may be struggling for money at this moment so the longer it takes you to save up the less likely you are to get the prize for completing in the time limit.

Thank you, already completed it, everything was free, (rings, wedding outfits, moving in together) I did spend money on a new house/sim and bought the costume store before the wedding. I also had time to send everyone to work and moved another sim in after the married couple moved in together. So now it will be easier to save money for a nice house on beach property, but I have a feeling having a baby will take a lot of money haha.
I’m on level ten and every time I click “be romantic” it tells me To complete the quest I don’t know where to start.

Hi! It says in the instructions that planting onions can be done early that’s why I did the task last night. How come after I took a catnap I was asked to plant onions again? Anyway, I did it again and I’m down to the last hour.

if you are on bread winner or money grows on trees quests you have to complete both of those first before you can do this quest.

No it isn’t a glitch, you have been romantic too many times before you were meant to, you will need to create another sim and get two sims to a budding romance
do you think the same sims could get married even when the quest expires?
once you get to the goal to make them partners you will already be at that point with them so yes they will be able to get married.

I’m not sure if something changed with an update somewhere along the way or whatever, but I just recently downloaded and installed this game. I completed the quest in time, and the outfits were in my wardrobe without ever needing to build any store or such. Love the site!

Help! I have a task called “slap a sim” that says i have to make to sims argue, be rude, or complain to each other intil one of them starts to slaps the other one. I don’t want to turn my sims against each other, and I also don’t want to spend lps. no you have to complete these tasks in your own town, only social tasks can be completed at a neighbours
When you go to buy one of the trees in the gardening aection, it has a chat bubble next to it like it provides that, does that just mean they can talk by it?
Only when you get goals in quests to talk to trees, otherwise you can’t

With the tasks now you can’t start quests early because I tryed it on the quest that I’m on whitch is Love is in the air and your blog about sims said that the onions could be started early but that has not worked
you can start it early as long as you stay away from that house until you get the goal or it will not work.

Why aren’t the roses free anymore? Before, the roses are free, after I reset the game, it’s not free anymore.

I get the prize and try it out, then i make my sims wear another outfit, but the earrings from the prize is still there, how do I get it off?
The only way I can seem to remove them is by buying a pair of earrings and then going to accessories in the wardrobe and clicking on the earrings then click on them again and they will be removed.

I have completed the love is in the air quest and have received the wedding outfits. However I don’t know when to put the outfits on when future sims are getting married. Do you put the wedding outfits on before or after you click the “purpose marriage” option. Thank you!

You have to put the wedding outfits onto your sims before you want them to get married, it doesn’t do it for you

I built a unfurnished town house and so when my sims move in together I can add a new sim and so I will have 4 sims meaning I can finally by most buildings early. What would you rate this strategy?
you can’t because when you build one the next building will cost more and require more sims, but I wouldn’t recommend that strategy anyway, definitely don’t buy things like the costume and swim store right now because it is a waste of money when you are trying to complete quests

you should be able to add another sim before level 9, you need to build a house, once it is built, click on it to add a new sim

All you can do is try and plant them again, hopefully it will work this time
I think the latest update has changed this quest, as there are now fewer tasks than last time I completed it. This time I didn’t have to grow onions, or deeply cleanse hands. Currently on the phone call about engagement task and all the other tasks are the same so far. Thanks.

I am on level 22 and i still have a infant and i want my infant to turn into a toddler i think i missed a few steps if i delete the baby will i be able to do the toddlers quest again or will it remain the same
don’t delete the baby, you are probably just on a previous quest, you need to complete the quests in order so the toddler quest will be waiting in your queue.
For some reason, I’m doing the love is in the air quest but the growing onions and deeply cleansing hands never appeared! I don’t mind though because they are long things to do, I just wondered why?
They have changed this in the latest update, they do this a lot, they mostly remove tasks or make them longer
