This quest allows you to add babies to your town, you can only add babies to a house where a couple live (only 4 sims can live in a house at one time) If you complete this quest within the time limit you unlock the baby decoration pack. If you don’t complete within the time limit you can still complete this quest and unlock babies you just won’t get the baby decoration pack prize

You need to be good at time management with this quest as 1 task takes a day! (which gives you some practice for later quests!)
- Be nice to a sim- 1 minute [inspired: 57 secs]
- Expand or create a room
- Spend S450 on wallpaper and flooring
- Read better farms and cradles magazine- 5 minutes [inspired: 3 mins 48 secs]
Using stack of magazines from the living room section, the first one is free
- Have a double shot of coffee- completes straight away (if blue footprints appear read this post)
- Watch ‘Dr. Cots’ on TV- 5 minutes [inspired: 3 mins 48 secs]
- Build the children’s store- time and cost varies (need more money?)
Once you click build this can be quick completed for free so you don’t have to wait for it to build
- Buy a crib and place in a sims house (from the children’s store or infant section of home store)- the first white crib is free
If purchased from the children’s store you can find the crib in the infant section of the inventory or home store, make sure you place the crib in the house you want the baby to be added to
- Add a baby- 1 day
- Click on blue add sim symbol on the crib
- Click add on the pop up, the baby will take a day to arrive
- After a day the add symbol will now be green, click on this
- You will be taken to create a sim, name and customise the baby before clicking on the green tick in the corner to add them to your town

I can’t place the magazines in my house, why?
You need to put them on a table or counter, you cannot place them on the floor

Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it

I completed this quest within the timelimit, and I never got the baby decoration pack. Plus I’ve already seen the items in the store.
It’s not a pack, they are separate items, you get wallpaper, flooring and in the baby section you will find the mobile
This happened to me too, how can I get my rewards? It’s not in the inventory nor in the children’s store.
They arent in the inventory, you need to buy the flooring and wallpaper from the floor and walls sections of the home store and you will find the mobile (pictured) in the baby section.
It’s going to take me a day to build the store, not 8 hours so I am going to have to use LP to stay within the time limit. But I have heard that you require LPs to get a baby so I am scared that I wont have enough, is that true and if so, how many LPs is it per baby or does it change? Thank you 🙂
I think the first one is free but they cost 3 LPs after that

No you dont get them free, you have to buy them it just unlocks them

You need to finish the quest to unlock babies but you can take as long as you want, the time limit is only there so you get a prize if you complete it during that time

It is misleading when they call it a pack, it’s not, you get wallpaper that you will find in the wallpaper section, flooring that you will find in the floor section and other things that you will find in the baby section
Is it really impossible to do the “watch game of cribs on tv” before doing the “have a double shot of of coffee” ?
Yes you need to do the double shot of coffee first, you can’t watch the game of cribs until you get the goal to watch it
Are the walls and floors one of the first or last things visible?
They should be towards the beginning, they are pretty and colourful so they are easy to recognise

In the app store it is rated 12+
if you start doing the hibernation before you are requested 2 do it will it still count

I don’t think I saw anything like that, but ok. Oh how do you change the baby diaper, the baby keeps saying it wants to be changed. I’ve changed it 3 times already.
You need to get an adult to change the diaper, it takes 8 seconds, if it’s really low you may need to do it a few times to get it to be full

You will just have to build it when you can, you won’t get the prize for completing in time but you will still unlock babies when you complete the quest

I watched the game of cribs, but didn’t get credit for it. Now when I try to get someone else to watch it, they won’t.
Why won’t try watch it? Is it not available anymore? If it isn’t then surely you have done the goal, it sounds like a glitch

Building the child’s store is one of the goals in this quest to unlock babies, you need to complete the previous goals to build this store

The first crib isn’t free but recently they gave us some of the baby items free with easter items if you had the latest legacies and life dreams update so she must have used one of them

Unfortunately you won’t get the reward, you need to complete the whole quest in time to get it, in future if you start tasks such as hibernating in bed early in a different house and don’t go to that house until you get the goal you are more likely to get the prizes 🙂 all the quests are on this website so you can always check to see what goals are coming up before you get them

Can I just ask where does this goal come in the quest? As they seem to have changed it since I completed it 🙂 and has any of the other goals changed?
I completed the task with 5 hours to spare (and even used one lp to get it done) but did not get the reward. I got a free mobile but the wallpaper and flooring are not showing up in those sections. Any suggestions?
They will be in the flooring and wallpaper section of the home store, I can’t remember what they all are but there is yellow wallpaper with different coloured circles on it, if you can see this you have got them all.
I completed all the tasks with a cuple hours to spare. And even used dome lp to make sure it would be done in time. However, I didn’t get the wallpaper or floors – at least they aren’t showing up there. I did get a free baby mobile but that was it. What could have gone wrong?
If you look at the post now I have added some pictures of what some of the wallpapers and floors look like, this isn’t all of them but it will give you some idea of whether you have unlocked them or not 🙂

1. The pool needs to be green for you to get the option to clean it
2. Its not in the book shelf its in the stack of magazines you can find in the living room section of the store
3. You can only place it on a counter that doesn’t have any shelves above it (as some counters have pans and other items on display) just get a normal counter and it should work 🙂

Did you buy the coffee machine for this goal? You need to just buy a coffee machine and place it somewhere to complete this, you can’t do it with a machine you already have
