Completing this quest unlocks the ability to age your baby sims to toddlers! If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the dress up chest for your toddler sims. You can still complete this quest once the time is up but you won’t get the dress up chest prize

- Watch sunflower street on TV- 8 minutes 6 seconds
- Change a diaper- 21 seconds
- Expand or change a room
- Buy a dollhouse from the children’s store- costs S7,000
- Have a fancy coffee- 5 minutes (if blue footprints appear read this post)
- Study geography on a globe- 9 hours 30 minutes
- Contemplate life at the lake- 6 minutes 48 seconds (click on ducks)
- Ask statue in park for advice- 2 minutes 24 seconds
- Stare at the park statue- 3 seconds
- Get serious advice from the park statue- 7 hours 30 minutes
- Dance to a stereo (completes straight away)

You can now age your babies into toddlers using a birthday cake (explained in this guide) BUT YOU DO NOT NEED A BIRTHDAY CAKE TO FINISH THIS QUEST, my Guide to Toddlers explains all about them!

Is the prize worth it? Yes! This is such a great thing to have, you can find it in the toddler section and when placed in the home your toddler can dress as a robot, panda, dinosaur or bee! If you use the chest they walk around acting like the character which is cute but you can put them in an outfit permanently using the wardrobe or costume and swim store

I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 12 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 12?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
I have watched a documentary but it hasn’t completed the goal, why?
You will not be able to complete this goal until you get the goal when the quest starts
Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
The dress up chest
What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the ability to age your babies to toddlers before you can move onto the next quest
I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests
Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

no you can’t miss a quest, they have to be completed in order, you are on mysterious island so you have that one, raiders of the lost artifacts and need for steed all to do first.

I wanted to share with you an experiment I did with my dogs. I have 2 dogs at the same house. I constantly praised them both, going back and forth, for 20 minutes. So while I’m praising 1 dog, the other is finding treasure. In 20 minutes I made $556! That’s a nice bit! Of course you’re constantly working, but if you need simoleons quick, it’s worth it. Maybe you could use this trick sometime. Thanks again for doing the blog.

I’m playing on a Kindle and the only way to add friends is from Facebook which I don’t want to do. So does that mean I won’t be able to complete the quests that ask you to do things at the neighbors? I have Another Sims Town you access through the game and they don’t have the things I need.
Yes that does mean you won’t be able to do social tasks, you could skip them for 5LPs but it will become very expensive
UGH! I began this quest at night, and I didn’t check this page until the goal to build the pet store! I had like 20,000 simoleons and now I only have 86,000! And there’s TWO DAYS left! I have the same requirements you have, by the way. So I’m supposed to build the pet store, use the globe for 12 HOURS, and spend a whole day getting serious advice from a statue in the park?! Within the time limit? I did this quest last year before I deleted this game, and I got the dress up chest. I loved it! Now because EA makes you spend too much money and time building stuff, I won’t get it! 😡
The only thing you can really do is spend loads of LPs to try and complete it in the time limit unfortunately

if you aren’t on the quest yet and it is in your queue you can’t do it yet, you have to get to the goal in the quest before you can build the pet store

Hiya, I was wondering if you get the costume chest as soon as you’re done listening to the stereo? Or is baking the cake for 24 hrs and aging the baby the last step in the quest? I’m asking because my pet store ended up costing me $200,000 and I was only at $100,000 so I lost a day and a bit making the money needed and I’m going to be using LP’s to skip some time because I really want the chest for all the reasons you listed! no, you don’t need a birthday cake for this quest or it will be on the goal list
You do need a cake for them to age though, at this stage in the game they will not age automatically.

I’m having trouble changing the dipper in the quest for toddles. Every time I click on it with the parents or another sim I get blue footprints and they won’t do it. Help please!

You need to complete previous quests before you can do this one, you are on need for steed, so you need to complete that before you can do this quest.

are you making sure there is an adult that isn’t busy when your toddler clicks to use it? Like having a bath a toddler needs an adult to be able to use the swing

Not sure if this is new since the DIY update, but Im doing this quest and it completely skipped building the pet store and buying a pet. I am able to build the pet store if I’d like though. Guess it’s no longer needed for the quest?

Just an FYI… I did not have to build the Pet Store as I was doing this quest. It went straight from changing a room to buying the dollhouse. I think it’s because I was in the middle of building Sorcerous Supplies and you can only build one building at a time. It’s unlocked so I can build it at any time but I really can’t afford it right now (mine’s priced at $200K).
No that isn’t the reason, they have just removed those goals from the quest.
