Christmas is back in simtown- update your game now to unlock new quests and Christmas items! (I will be creating a post on what is new in this update as soon as possible)
This is the first of two quests this Christmas, you have to complete this quest in 3 days to unlock all the new winter clothes for yours sims!
First set- complete this set of goals to unlock winter clothes for adults and teens
- Call the mayor on a phone- 48 seconds
- Print flyers using a computer- 4 minutes
- Place flyers on lamp post in park- 9 hours 30 minutes (only need to place flyers on one lamp post)
- Have a strong hot coffee- 48 seconds
- Bake an apple pie (using a stove, select baking)- 40 minutes (can be started early)
- Fall asleep in a bath- 2 hours 20 minutes (can be started early)
- Open the package (by mailbox)- 12 seconds
- Wait for part 2 (next part starts at midnight) NOTE: you can skip this for 10 LPs to start on the next set of goals early. You will not get this goal if you are behind in completing the goals, it will go straight to the next goal.
Second set- complete this set of goals to unlock winter hats and clothes for adults and teens
- Call the mayor on a phone- 4 minutes
- Send out carol advertising (computer)- 2 hours 50 minutes
- Call sims about carolling (phone)- 4 hours
- Set up camera in the park (on the x)- 8 hours 15 minutes
- Have 3 sims at the park
- Use camera in the park (completes as soon you start the task)
- Carol for the camera- 5 hours 15 minutes (you need two sims to select this option on the camera- if you are speeding up with LPs you will need to use LPs on both sims to complete the task)
- Upload carol video (computer)- 12 minutes
- Open the package- 12 seconds
- Wait for part 3 (next part starts at midnight) NOTE: you can skip this for 10 LPs to start on the next set of goals early. You will not get this goal if you are behind in completing the goals, it will go straight to the next goal.
Third set– complete this set of goals to unlock winter clothes for adults, teens and preteens
- Have 3 sims in the park
- Have 3 sims clapping- 1 minute (podium)
- Have 3 sims carolling- 6 hours 15 minutes (podium)
- Listen to the mayor-5 minutes (podium)
- Murmur doubtfully- 15 minutes (select interaction between two sims)
- Have 2 sims brainstorm together- 5 minutes (select interaction between two sims)
- Play loud rock music on a guitar in the park- 45 minutes
- Place a flare on the X- 1 minute
- Turn on the flare (click on flare and select turn on)
- Unpack the locomotive- 2 hours 30 minutes

When my phone updated and I received this quest it only gave me 26 hours to complete it. That’s not fair and not enough time. Was it cause I didn’t update and I missed out on time?

I completed a quest that gave me winter clothes. When I was trying some of them on one of my sims, the whole winter clothes wardrobe was gone. How do I get it back, or are they only allowed to use for one day
Have you tried restarting your device to see if they return? They shouldn’t disappear
Will the entire quest stop at a designated time? I’ve just now startet and it says I have three hours left. Is it now three hours for the entire task or three hours for the first part of the quest?
I have 50 LPs. Is it possible to complete now and still get some of the clothes?

Also, I really want the teen sweaters but I don’t have teens yet. I’m not even at the toddler stage. Will the clothes still be unlocked once I’ve reached the possibility to have teens?

So… When I got this quest there was only 25 hours left to do it. Is this a ploy hatched by EA to get me to buy LP? Or did I not update my game in time? Also, what’s in the packages?

I’m just curious, I completed all 3 quests, and I don’t have most of the clothes shown here, and don’t have any of the hats. Also, I see a ginger bread house is available, but says only available after completing the secret winter wonderland quest. Hoping you will have the answers!
I don’t know why you can’t find the clothes, I would suggest restarting your device to see if that helps them show, if not you may need to contact EA to see if they can fix this issue for you. Anyone have any tips for the next Christmas quest that started? I know you could do deep sleep in advance once start the second look in the fridge?
