The Sims Freeplay- Chocolate Lover’s Carnival Event

THIS EVENT IS OVER

The limited time hobby event to unlock carnival outfits for your adult sims is back but it is only available for 7 days. There are 6 packs to unlock so you will need to complete the chocolatier hobby collection 6 times in the time limit to unlock all the outfits:

The Chocolatier Hobby post can be found here if you have never done this hobby before!

If you completed this event last time you will not get it again, if you started it last time you will start from where you got to this time, for example, if you unlocked 3 outfit packs last time you will only have to complete the collection 3 times this time to complete the event

You need to firstly accept this event, click yes then you can buy a chocolatier bench from the promotions r us store (you can buy 4 for 500 then the price increases each time, you can have a maximum of 15 or 19 if you already brought 4 previously)

Then it can be found in your inventory under hobby and career items so you can place it in your house:

12 CHOCOLATES= 1 CARNIVAL OUTFIT PACK

TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:

-buy as many chocolatier benches as possible to have as many sims as you can working on it

-you can have a sim in a neighbours town working on it too if you don’t want to buy anymore benches!

-have at least one sim working on getting to level 6 so all chocolates are unlocked (you only need one sim to reach level 6) you may need to use LPs to speed your way through the levels- I waited until the time was 1 hour 59 minutes and used 1 LP to speed up one sim so they reached level 6

-if you do want to speed it up, wait at least 15 minutes until the timer is 2 hours 59 minutes or below then it will only cost you 2LPs instead of 3! This post may help if you want a quick way to earn LPs.

-remember to click start new collection on the top of the hobby collection list once you have got all the pieces otherwise you won’t find any new items, this post explains how to do that.

-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need- and remember these events always come back so don’t worry if you don’t complete it this time!

You can find the outfits for free in the wardrobe for adult sims, each pack contains one outfit for a female adult and one outfit for a male adult

The Sims Mobile- Back to School Event

THIS EVENT IS OVER

A new time limited event has started in The Sims Mobile! The aim of this event is to earn enough apples to buy the lunch bags to unlock all the back to school items in the 7 day time limit! There is also a quest to complete that unlocks new relationship stories!

How do you earn apples?

Completing the Homeschool Event (click on a sofa at home)- every 14 hours
Completing the Study at the Cafe Event (at the cafe)- every 14 hours
Complete the Marine Biology Field Trip (at the science center)
Complete the Going Study Crazy Quest, there are 29 parts to complete:

1.Complete any career, hobby or relationship event Reward: 50 apples

2.Ask 5 others about local universities- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (select the interaction on another sim, can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same sim, use different sims to complete this quicker) Reward: 175 apples and 100 simoleons

3.Ask 5 others ‘are you a teacher?’- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (select the interaction on another sim, can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same sim, use different sims to complete this quicker) Reward: 175 apples

4.Look up online education from a sofa- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy (click on a sofa) Reward: 115 apples

5.Complete Homeschool event at home. Tap on the pink book bubble on a sofa at home to start this event. You can complete this event every 14 hours Reward: 112 apples

6.Spend 250 Apples on Lunch Bags (click on the stack of books picture in the top right corner of the screen to be able to spend your apples on lunch bags, each bag costs 250 apples) Reward: 70 apples

7.Search in 5 Plants for missing school supplies- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same plant, have multiple plants to complete this quicker) Reward: 70 apples

8.Complete study at the Cafe event. Tap on a pink book bubble at the cafe to start this event. You can complete this event every 14 hours Reward: 55 apples

9.Ask around for a study buddy 5 times- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (select the interaction on another sim, can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same sim, use different sims to complete this quicker) Reward: 35 apples and Besties Study Stack (heirloom)

Place the Besties Study Stack to unlock the Study Buddies Relationship Story (be friendly to get this option)

10.Spend 250 Apples on Lunch Bags Reward: 35 apples

11.Ask 3 others about Educational conspiracy theories- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (select the interaction on another sim, can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same sim, use different sims to complete this quicker) Reward: 35 apples

12.Complete Marine Biology Field Trip. Tap on a pink book bubble on a fridge at home to start this event. You can complete this event every 14 hours Reward: 35 apples

13.Ask 3 others about alien abductions- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (select the interaction on another sim, can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same sim, use different sims to complete this quicker) Reward: 35 apples

14.Complete all LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 45 apples

15.Spend Apples on Lunch Bags Reward: 45 apples

16.Use a chair or sofa to slack off from studying- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy (click on a sofa) Reward: 45 apples

17.Complete Homeschool event at home. Tap on the pink book bubble on a sofa at home to start this event. You can complete this event every 14 hours Reward: 45 apples

18.Ask 6 others about UFOs- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (select the interaction on another sim, can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same sim, use different sims to complete this quicker) Reward: 70 apples

19.Complete all LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 45 apples and Rival Debaters Binders (heirloom)

Place the Rival Debaters Binders to unlock the Debasing Debaters Relationship Story (be confrontational to get this option)!

20.Spend Apples on Lunch Bags Reward: 70 apples

21.Debate the existence of aliens with 4 another sim- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (select the interaction on another sim, can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same sim, use different sims to complete this quicker) Reward: 70 apples

22.Complete study at the Cafe event. Tap on a pink book bubble at the cafe to start this event. You can complete this event every 14 hours Reward: 70 apples

23.Complete all LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 70 apples

24.Spend Apples on Lunch Bags Reward: 70 apples

25.Complete Marine Biology Field Trip. Tap on a pink book bubble on a fridge at home to start this event. You can complete this event every 14 hours Reward: 70 apples

26.Complete all LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 70 apples

27.Ask 5 others about Landgraab Inc. Learning Annex- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy each time (select the interaction on another sim, can only be completed every 5 minutes with the same sim, use different sims to complete this quicker) Reward: 70 apples

28.Spend Apples on Lunch Bags Reward: 70 apples

29.Complete Homeschool event at home. Tap on the pink book bubble on a sofa at home to start this event. You can complete this event every 14 hours Reward: 70 apples

Completing this final part unlocks the Romance Book Collection heirloom, place this to unlock the Romancing the Tomes Relationship Story (be flirty to get this option)

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

Buying Lunch Bags and Boxes

You can either buy a lunch bag for 250 apples or a collector’s lunch box for 75 simcash. You will get an item at random each time, most of the items for this event are clothes or hairstyles so if you get one that you have already won before the second time that prize will be converted into something else for example simoleons.

Each item pictured has a ribbon next to it which shows you the rarity of that item, this shows you how likely it is you will earn that item. You are more likely to earn rare items by buying the collector’s lunch box with simcash:

Once you have unlocked an item there will be a tick on that item, the aim is to unlock all the items before the time limit is up!

I am so glad they have removed all the different kinds of tickets so they are no longer a common prize we get in these events- I ended up with more of those tickets than anything else in the past so I am really hoping I will be able to get more of the prizes this time! I do find it odd that this is called ‘Back to School’ when you can’t even play as a child or teen in this game!

My Sims Mobile Posts

The Girl Who Games Survey Responses

Firstly I would like to thank all 875 of you who filled in my survey, it has really helped me to understand what you would like me to improve and what you are very happy with already. In this post I am going to go through some of your responses and explain how I can make things better if I can!

Do you find my blog easy to use?

Most of you find my blog easy to use but the same issues were repeated a lot by those of you who don’t, mainly to do with the terrible home page (sorry!) I wish I could make it so that it doesn’t show the whole post but just a summary on desktop and tablets like it does on mobile but unfortunately that isn’t an option- I have checked! I am somewhat limited by what I can do with wordpress but I am going to try and get creative with it to make it better. The home page will become a single page so it won’t show a whole lot of posts anymore but instead there will be links to the latest posts so you don’t have to scroll so much! I can see the home page no longer works, especially now there are so many events going on at once- I just need to stop being lazy and remember to update the home page when new events come out! Update: the new homepage is now live, I hope you like it!

Other issues include the links down the side not being up to date or don’t take you where you think they should and not being able to search (there is a search bar on the page but maybe it needs to be more obvious) again I would love to be able to add a search bar to posts or pages but I am not sure if this is possible- I will look into it though. Again you struggle to find older posts (you can find all sims freeplay posts by clicking on sims freeplay on the menu and selecting all posts) and the menu itself needs a complete overhaul.

In summary there are a lot you have asked for which I am not sure if it is possible yet until I look into it, I am not very technical so when how to guides start talking about coding I want to run!

Are there any posts you would like me to make for The Sims Freeplay?

I can’t believe how many of you want house designs! That will definitely be happening! I am hoping to create a whole house building section full of designs with blueprints so you can build them yourself and also building tips. Obviously this will take some time so stay tuned!

A lot of you have asked for posts on the architect homes, the reason I haven’t so far is they change so regularly, I won’t have the time to do this everytime they change but I will try to update it as much as possible.

A few people have asked if I can list every single item ever available in the game- this is a huge task and just thinking about it scares me as I am sure I will miss loads of stuff so people will end up angry with me but again I will see if it is possible.

Would you like to see more Sims Mobile posts?

Almost 74% of you said no! I’m not really surprised as it is no where near as good as The Sims Freeplay, I do tend to make more Sims Mobile videos than posts about it due to the fact I know a lot of you aren’t interested but hopefully with the new home page it will make it easy for you to avoid these posts if you want to.

Someone said that I take forever to post about new Sims Mobile events but my Sims Freeplay ones are so quick- this is due to not having access to the Mobile event until it is available for everyone so I can only post about it once I have started or completed it, unfortunately this is just how it works with The Sims Mobile Team.

Do you have a problem with the adverts that appear?

There are a lot of things I have no control over with this blog and advertising is one of them, I can not control the amount of adverts that appear, the type of adverts or where they are placed but advertising is necessary to keep this site updated. Most of you have no problems with the ads that appear, some of you say they fill your screen but also mentioned it happens on other sites too which leads me to thinking that the problem may be with your device rather than the site, make sure you have an anti virus program and it is up to date and if you are viewing on an apple device make sure you have the latest iOS update. We all have different adverts appear mainly due to cookies so if you find them inappropriate or scams then please do not click on them but click ‘report this ad’ next to the advert. If you frequently have problems with the adverts on my site please let me know and include screenshots of the adverts so I can let the people in charge of these adverts know.

I know there are a lot on the mobile site so it makes the page slow to load but like I said there isn’t anything I can do to change how much they appear I can just apologise if it takes longer to load than you would like.

Do you subscribe to my blog to be emailed when a new post is published?

Quite a lot of you aren’t sure how to follow this blog by email so I will definitely include this information from now on. If you are viewing on a PC you can find the option ‘follow blog via email’ on the sidebar on the right hand side of the screen. On a mobile you will find this option under the post and comments on any page- for now I suggest you head to the contact me page or something shorter than the home page otherwise you will be scrolling for hours!

If you have subscribed to my blog by email but you haven’t received an email then please email me and I will look into it, again I don’t control how the emails work but I can check who is on the list.

Do you have any suggestions to make this blog better?

Thank you to everyone who used this question to say something lovely, I really appreciate it!

Most of the suggestions here were about the homepage or menu again but some people would like me to change the whole layout of my site and the header. The header and avatar (that some of you don’t like- I spent ages on it but okay!) will be recreated. I currently have someone working on a new avatar but I haven’t decided on my new header yet! As for the layout, I have found a nice new one but it needs a lot of tweaking before it will be going live. You may find things are moved around while I sort everything out so just bear with me!

I am a bit confused about those who said it isn’t mobile friendly as it is! Again I cannot change the layout of it on the mobile version, it is what it is unfortunately. It won’t be mobile friendly on a tablet though so this may be the issue.

Do you watch my YouTube videos?

I understand that a lot of people prefer reading to watching videos (I am one of those people actually!) and that is great but some people prefer to see how it works as well which is why I started the videos. I am mostly surprised by the amount of people who didn’t know I made YouTube videos when almost every post has a video embedded in it so maybe I need to work on how I promote them!

Which of my videos do you enjoy the most?

I am so surprised how much everyone loves house tours- I personally find them really boring but I will be making more from now on!

Any suggestions for new video content?

More house designs and tours seems to be the majority vote. I find this quite strange as a lot of the ones I have done previously didn’t do very well but I will get thinking of some unique and exciting houses for you to copy!

The Sims Freeplay- Sleepwear Hobby Event

THIS EVENT IS OVER

The time limited hobby event to unlock sleepwear for all your sims is back but only for 7 days! You have to complete the catwalk model collection 5 times to unlock all the sleepwear, each time you complete the collection you unlock a sleepwear for a different life stage. If you have never done the catwalk model hobby before my post here will help

If you completed this event last time you will not get it again. If you unlocked some sleepwear last time you will start from where you got to so if you managed to get 4 sets last time you will only need to complete the collection once more this time!

TIP: you can send another sim to a neighbours town to try and complete quicker (as only one sim can do it in your town at a time)

You need to firstly accept this event, it will remove the poses you have already got on the collection so you don’t get a head start.

If you say no you can start it from the goal tab.

NOTE: YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THESE BEFORE YOU CAN START THIS EVENT:

Build the mall (there isn’t much point starting to build this now if you haven’t already, just wait for this event to return in the future!)
Complete the sunset mall quest
Unlock area 2
Build the catwalk

Where can I find the sleepwear? In the wardrobe and create a sim under sleepwear

When you change their sleepwear they will change into it when every they go to sleep or when you click change into sleepwear on a wardrobe.

Toddler sleepwear

Teen sleepwear

you can mix and match with the teen sleepwear: choose a onesie and socks for a male, choose a top, bottoms and slippers for a female.

Senior sleepwear

again you can mix and match the top and bottoms and choose some slippers

Preteen sleepwear

again you can mix and match the top and bottoms and choose some slippers

the tops could be worn on their own as nighties

Adult sleepwear

they could wear the shorts on their own

Is it worth completing in time? Definitely! The sleepwear is so much better than your sims sleeping in their underwear!
