Starts 12th December 2023

After briefly going missing (again!) Santa is quickly located and back to work but can your sim take his place in the musical of the year and save Christmas? There are 13 sets of goals to complete in the 13 day time limit so there is a set of goals to complete each day from the 12th December, if you complete the quest in the time limit you win the Broadway Park house template

You have to wait between completing each set so you complete one set per day, after completing a set you have to wait for a certain amount of time before being able to continue with the quest (the time varies depending on how long you take) unless you are behind then you will move straight onto the next set once you have completed the previous. You can use social points to skip the daybreak but it is very expensive

TIP: there are lots of tasks that need to be done more than once, you can use LP to skip all these tasks or you can still use the maximum sims you can to complete the task but remember if you just use one sim you will run out of time (the maximum amount of sims you can use will vary depending on the level you are on in the game)

First set: Complete the first set of goals to unlock the Red Shaker-Style Wallpaper pack (at the end of the post you can find all the information and images of all the prizes)

  • Admire the snow- 2 mins [inspired: 1m 54s]  (x at front of house)

  • Talk to Pepper- 10 mins [inspired: 9m 30s]

  • Watch Christmas movie-  1 hr 50 mins [inspired: 1h 45m] (on a TV)

  • Talk to Pepper again- 1 hr 16 mins  [inspired: 1h 12m]

  • Travel to Santa’s workshop (sleigh in the park)

  • Search pile of letters- 7 hrs 21 mins  [inspired: 6h 59m]

FIRST SET IS COMPLETE

Second set: Complete the second set of goals to unlock the Movies of Yore pack

  • Reassemble letter- 2 hrs 40 mins [inspired: 2h 32m] (dining table and chair)

  • Ask Pepper to call Salt- 2 hrs 42 mins [inspired: 2h 34m] (at workshop)

  • Convince Pepper- 2 hrs 15 mins [inspired: 2h 8m]

  • Have all sims leave Santa’s workshop (send all sims home)
  • Drink hot chocolate- 4 mins 30 secs [inspired: 4m 16s] (using a kettle)

  • Send sim to the park
  • Explain the situation to Salt- 1 hr 15 mins [inspired: 1h 11m]

  • Send 9 cat videos- 8 hrs 30 mins each [inspired: 8h 4m each] (using sofas) (can skip all for large amount of LP- need to earn LP quickly?)

SECOND SET IS COMPLETE

Third set: Complete the third set of goals to unlock the Faux Reindeer Wreath

  • Decipher letter 10 times– 8 hrs 30 mins each [inspired: 8h 4m each] (using computers) (can skip all for large amount of LP- need to earn LP quickly?)

  • Search for address- 34 mins [inspired: 32m] (using a bookshelf)

  • Read travel magazines- 43 mins [inspired: 41m] (using the stack of magazines, there is a free one in the living room section if you don’t already own this item)

  • Travel to Broadway Park (using sleigh at park)

  • Listen to recital- 2 hrs 16 mins [inspired: 2h 9m] (Santa)

  • Get Santa’s attention- 39 mins [inspired: 37m] (Santa)

  • Speak with the furious sim- 6 hrs 45 mins [inspired: 6h 25m]

THIRD SET IS COMPLETE

  • Devise solutions 12 times– 7 hrs 30 mins each [inspired: 7h 7m each] (using dining tables and chairs) (can skip all for large amount of LP- need to earn LP quickly?)

  • Call Mrs Claus- 4 mins [inspired: 3m 48s] (using a phone)

  • Gather Christmas sentiments- 8 mins [inspired: 7m 36s] (using a sofa)

  • Persuade Santa- 15 mins [inspired: 14m]

  • Look for loopholes 12 times– 8 hrs each [inspired: 7h 36m] (using chairs) (can skip all for large amount of LP- need to earn LP quickly?)

  • Inform Derek- 5 mins [inspired: 4m 45s]

FOURTH SET IS COMPLETE

  • Dress in best Santa outfit using a wardrobe (NOTE: doesn’t have to be a Santa costume to complete this, anything will work):

Thirteenth Set: Broadway Pack

You will find Broadway Park under the driveway homes tab on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free, after that the cost in simoleons depends on how many houses you have already built. A Yellow Cab comes with this house lot, you can add up to 3 more cars.

The other three car parking spaces need to be unlocked by purchasing with simoleons:

  • Additional Space One: S250,000
  • Additional Space Two: S750,000
  • Additional Space Three: S1,500,000

Once you purchase an additional space you will be able to add another car but you need to have more than one adult/senior sim living in this house to add more than one car otherwise it will just switch their car to the new one you have just brought. For example if you wanted 3 cars in this house you need 3 adult or senior sims living in this house.

This house lot is actually a theatre with an apartment on the 3rd floor, the house itself is the same on the standard and premium residence, the only difference is the premium has a park area behind the house. Personally if I were to build this I would build it on the standard residence as the park doesn’t add much to the lot.

I like where this house lot is located, it has New York themed surroundings and I think the theatre idea is great as it is something we don’t already have in the game. I also like that there is an apartment floor in this lot so it still makes sense for it to be built on a house lot.

On both sized lots you also unlock the ice skating rink next to the theatre, your sims can ice skate for 45 minutes or ice skating marathon for 5 hrs 30 mins:

  3. Does the tasks depend on how long you been playing? Where it said I will need 9 cat videos I only had to do 3 and so on. I’m only a small level. I did 9 just in case but then on day2 it was the same when the multi sim task came about so tried it with the requested and it worked?

  4. Thank you for doing this! I’m searching for cookies, as we speak. Some Sims will take a little over 7 hours to find cookies. If each Sim collects 1 cookie each, finding 48 is going to take ~ 12 – 14 hours. Am I correct in assuming they only collect 1 each?

  6. For me, the day 5 task to “Read Acting a New Derek-tion” was for 4 sims instead of 14. There might have been some changes or there might be an alternate version of the quest.
