NEW PREGNANCY EVENT
There are new time limited prizes when you complete the 9 day pregnancy event in the time limit and earn the baby bonus between 13th February-3rd March
If you start the 9 day pregnancy event anytime during the time frame you have the chance of earning the maternity items in that pack if you complete the event in the time limit, for example if you start a pregnancy event on the 3rd March and complete in the time limit you will earn the items above
You need to have completed the first pregnancy event in the A Bump-y Ride Quest before you can earn the maternity prizes
Returning Events and Quests?
The Embrace the Fro Hair Hobby Event (no longer available) will be returning on 1st February for 10 days, complete the fashion designer hobby to unlock all hairstyles for your adult sims
The Oh So Ombre Hair Hobby Event (available now) will be back on 16th February for 10 days, complete the fashion designer hobby to unlock all hairstyles for your adult sims
The Wedding Belles Live Event (available now) will return on 18th February for 13 days, complete this live event to unlock wedding themed items and the wedding venue template
The HANS On Player Favourite Quest (available now) will be back between 19th February- 2nd March. Start this quest during this time to get the full 7 day time limit to complete, if you complete in the time you will unlock the HANS lighting system and dishwashers

Two outfits and shoes each for male and female adult sims
- The game maximum level has increased from 55 to 60! But instead of just needing experience points (XP) to level up you have other requirements that need to be completed before you can level up such as adding sims, constructing buildings and completing quests:
The level up requirements will vary depending on how much you have already completed, if you have completed all quests, development sites (downtown developer, sim springs and super yacht) and community lots (e.g. campgrounds, castle or mall) the tasks will be to complete careers, hobbies and professions. If you are unsure what a task is asking you to do click the (i) symbol next to that requirement:
TIP: If a level up requirement doesn’t complete when it should try visiting a neighbour and returning home, it sometimes completes the task.
The green place marker button will either take you to a location or show you what quest you can complete next:
If you have already completed everything in the game you will only need XP to level up.

I hope you’re doing well. I updated the game today and checked now that the free skip isn’t available right now. For example when a sim eats leftovers I could normally skip it but now I can’t. Will the ability come back or is it gone for good?
Are you level 55 or over? There is a glitch with the free skip for these levels that they are working on fixing.

Hi there, I always use your blog for any help with Sims Freeplay but have a question concerning the levelling up. My Sims town is at max rank but one of the requirements is to increase it by a rank, will this be automatically done or will it block me so I can’t level up? Thanks in advance

Sadly it blocked me from levelling up as it is still there and won’t let me advance
Is that the only task you have left to complete to be able to level up?
In fact it went away when I visited my Sims neighbour so managed to level up after that

Anyone having issues after the update. I cannot go to the spa as app closes every time I try. I even tried sending sim to work.

The Art Nuveau update caused my game to crash. I cleared cache, confirmed sufficient memory, uninstalled, reinstalled saved data. The update downloaded again but I was only able to play 10 minutes before it crashed. I’ve emailed Firemonkeys and EA and gotten only general troubleshooting responses, none worked. I was curious if any other users are experiencing this. Also, at one point, Google PlayStore would not let me download the game, stating it had a bug and developers would need to fix with a new update. Does anyone have any further info?

I have gotten the automatic level up, and I have to upgrade a community. It now says that I have to built the jumping ring for the horses, but it’s already done and I don’t see anything else to do.
The makers are aware of this issue and are working on a fix.
I’m at level 56 and one of my level up request is to improve a community lot, the validating paddock at the stables. When I visit the stables I can’t find anything to improve? I don’t se any options with or without my sim/sims there? What does the game want me to do?
This is a known glitch, the makers are working on a fix for it.
I’m currently on level 56 and it wants me to do a progression quest. The only problem is it’s the “in stitches” one and I don’t want my sims to age yet. Is there a way to get passed this?
Unfortunately you will need to complete this quest if you want to level up
I am very excited about being able to level up past 55! I am distressed that we have to do a development site though.From my experience and other players feedback, they are forcing us to complete this in order to level up! I will probably try the Superyacht one as you seem to indicate that it is a bit more doable. But I dislike and get frustrated with the difficulty of completing it.☹️
I know, it’s not fair we have to complete events we don’t want to do to be able to level up.
The yacht is even worse to complete than the Downtown Developer!!
But on the bright side, if you don’t care about the main prize, you don’t have to do it in time limit. And moreover, reaching the “milestone” already counts for the level requirement, so if you collect XP fast enough, and you have everything else completed, then by doing one Downtown Developer event you can upgrade by 3 levels

For anyone wondering! If you have all other tasks completed to level up except for the town value and it doesn’t autocomplete, if you travel to a neighbor’s town and come back it should resolve the issue!

Why there are 2 tabs for building a new house? The third tab which was the one with players houses that changed every couple weeks is now gone 🥲
The architect homes tab sometimes disappears after an update but keep checking as it will come back.

I’m on level 56 and it says I have to complete renovations at the stables but when I go there nothing shows up. It also says I have to increase my town rank value but I have reached my limit. Any suggestions??
Please download the update from the app store as this should fix this issue.
My game still just crashes upon opening. I’m too concerned about loosing all my progress and data by uninstalling and reinstalling. So just waiting to hear from EA for instruction. Will they post somewhere when “fixing” is complete?

i’ve been getting a bug since the update where the progress bar disappears while a sim is doing a task and it won’t let me cancel the action. restarting the app hasn’t done anything, i hope they fix this soon 😦
