The Urban Chic Hobby Event is back for 6 days from the 20th November to unlock outfits for your male and female adult sims! You get a new outfit each time you complete it so you need to complete the collection 8 times to unlock all the outfits, once you unlock an outfit you get to keep it even if you don’t find them all. If you completed this before you will not get this event again, if you got some of the outfits last time you will only need to find the remaining ones this time, for example, if you completed the collection 6 times last time to unlock 6 outfits you only need to complete it two more times this time to find the last two outfits.
You need to firstly accept this quest, it will remove the fashion pieces you have already created from the collection so you don’t get a head start.
If you say no you can start it from the goal tab. Once you have said yes you now need to complete the collection nine times but you will not get extra time if you start late
NOTE: YOU NEED TO COMPLETE ALL FOUR ROWS TO GET ONE OUTFIT!!
12 FASHION PIECES= COMPLETE COLLECTION AND UNLOCKS 1 OUTFIT
TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:
-have more than one sim working on it
-it is easier if you have all the sims in one house, maybe build a room for them so they are all together but you don’t have to!
-have at least one sim at level 6 or working on getting to level 6 (maybe do the 12 hour option) so all designs are unlocked (if you have previously completed the collection you do not need to get another sim to level 6 to complete this) -if you can, do the 10 minute option over and over, you will find the most designs this way (once you have a sim at level 6)
-remember to click start new collection on the fashion hobby collections list once you have got all the pieces
-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.
Outfits- you can find the female outfits in the outfits and shoes sections of the wardrobe and the male items in the tops, pants and shoes sections
YOU CANNOT UNLOCK ALL THE OUTFITS IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THIS EVENT IN THE TIME LIMIT
Firstly sorry for the late post, my internet stopped working on the 9th and it has just been fixed. The Missing Claus Quest is back as a Player Favourite Quest which means you will be able to start this quest between the 11th-17th November to get the full 13 day time limit. These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the event in the active tasks tab to start:
There are 13 sets of goals to complete in the 13 day time limit so there is a set of goals to complete each day, if you complete the quest in the time limit you win the gorgeous Farmhouse template!
If you completed this quest last time you won’t get it again, if you started it last time unfortunately you will have to start from the beginning this time (these are the times from the last time this quest was available, let me know if anything has changed and I will update this post)
You may have to wait between completing each set so you complete one set per day, after completing a set you have to wait for a certain amount of time before being able to continue with the quest unless you are behind then you will move straight onto the next set once you have completed the previous. (sometimes when these quests return you don’t have to wait you will just move straight onto the next set of goals)
TIP: there are lots of tasks that need to be done more than once, use the maximum sims you can to complete the task, if you just use one sim you will run out of time
Click on these links to get straight to that part of the post:

Prizes
THE FIRST ONE OF EACH PRIZE IS FREE
First Set: Round Mirror
Found in the decorations section, first one is free then they cost 5SP each
You will be able to build the Farmhouse on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free, after that the cost in simoleons depends on how many houses you have already built
NOTE: it is not possible to build a house with the veranda (roofed porch) it is currently only available on the Farmhouse
The only difference between the Farmhouse on a standard and a premium is the garden and one different object in the basement. You still get the chicken coop, table and barn on the premium like you do on the standard, you just get an extra picket fenced area on the premium:
The standard comes with a candle in the basement and the premium has a lamp to match the one on the other table:
I think I prefer this house on the standard rather than the premium as I don’t think we really need the extra picket fenced area that you get with the premium
Watch my house tour of the Farmhouse here:
You also unlock the A- Frame Roofing which is a new style of roofing for all your houses:
Early Access to Beta Provided by EA/ Firemonkeys (Presented by EA GameChangers) may differ from actual version

22.Care-a-lot Community Center- you can only claim this pack if you have purchased all the other packs in this live event
This template can be found under the driveway homes tab and built on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free then they cost simoleons depending on how many houses you have already built. You can add up to 4 cars to this house lot!
Even though this is a community center you can still edit it and add sims to live in this house like you would a normal house
The other three car parking spaces need to be unlocked by purchasing with simoleons:
Additional Space One: S250,000
Additional Space Two: S750,000
Additional Space Three: S1,500,000
Once you purchase an additional space you will be able to add another car but you need to have more than one adult/senior sim living in this house to add more than one car otherwise it will just switch their car to the new one you have just brought. For example if you wanted 3 cars in this house you need 3 adult or senior sims living in this house.
This template is super cute, it definitely fits in with the Care Bear theme!
The standard and premium versions are overall very different but there are a few rooms that are the same on both. I personally prefer this community center on the premium residence as the bedrooms are bigger. If I manage to complete this live event in the time limit I will be building this template but I would convert it from a community center into an actual house (or castle!)
You also unlock:
Living Room Section: Navy (13LP) and Purple (13SP) Reception Desks
Decorations Section: Living Share Bear (S175,000) and Living Grumpy Bear (17LP)
These bears come alive once you place them in a sims house! They will wander around and your sims can interact with them by selecting ‘share your care’ on the living bears, this is just them talking to the bears which is quite disappointing, I was hoping for a few more interactions!
Exterior Walls Section: Purple and Gray Bricks (S965)
Roofing Section: Purple Roof (S475)
Stairs Section: Purple Straight Stairs (62SP)
Balcony and Patio Railings Sections: Purple Rainbow Rail (S5,450)
Trees, Plants and Flowers Section: Rainbow (S114,750) and Yellow (11LP) Mixed Flowers
Outdoor Decorations Section: Rainbow (S310,000) and Purple (31LP) Round Fountain

Constructor Coins
You earn constructor coins by:
Personal Progress prizes
Completing Daily Goals
Coin Plant Patches
Earning Constructor Coins? Previously on these events I used social points on the Mega Spin Plant to win constructor points. I earn social points by completing the cooking hobby and earning LP, I can then turn the LP into SP using the social point plant on a normal garden patch- this was when it cost 5LP- the social point plant now costs 20LP so you may want to try the option below first instead:
Or you can use 450 candles for the Spin Plant (a good way to use up any spare candles) which will also earn you constructor coins but the amounts are less than they are from the Mega Spin Plant
What is the minimum and maximum amount of coins you can earn on the mega spin plant? The minimum is 10 and the maximum is 500
Now on the coin flower patch you can see the chances of getting the different combinations on each spin plant, click on the green i button to see:
Laura Craft? You may have noticed at the front of one of your houses there is a board with a bubble of a person holding arts and crafts items above it, this is Laura Craft, you can buy her for real money to help you complete the event. When you buy her, you select the item you want her to make from the options: 200 candles, 300 pottery, 450 jewelry or 500 glassware (the amounts seem to differ for most of you and I have no idea why that is!) (you will unlock all the options once you have unlocked all the stations) and you will be able to collect them after 2 hours.
Do I think she is worth it? They have improved Laura Craft a lot since the first event (although it would be great if she made constructor coins) she used to be able to collect every 8 hours, they have now changed this to 2 hours so she is more useful now so if you are struggling then you may want to splash out and give her a try but remember you will only get her for this event, you will have to buy her again to use her for a live event in the future. I personally don’t ever buy her, if I don’t manage to earn enough items or coins in the time limit I just wait until the next time the event is available!
If I brought Laura Craft in the last event do I get her for free or do I have to buy her again? You have to buy her again for this event.
Once the event is over it will convert your unused resources into simoleons, the conversion rate is half the amount of resources, for example, if you have 10,000 candles left over you will earn 5,000 simoleons, if you only have 1 of a resource left over you will only earn 1 simoleon. When a new live event becomes available you start from 0 resources
If I don’t complete this event this time will I have to start from the beginning when it returns? No, you will start from where you got to this time!
The Holiday High-Rise live event is back from the 23rd September to unlock stunning items to create the most amazing hotel suites and if you complete the whole event in the time limit you unlock the holiday condo! This event is only here for 9 days and the aim of it is to collect enough arts and crafts items from the arts and crafts stations (found in the event tab of buy mode) to unlock all the items in this event. If you completed this event last time you won’t get it again, if you started this event last time but didn’t finish it you will start from where you got to last time.
NOTE: if you did another Live Event then you will find your arts and crafts stations in your inventory (or in the house you left them at) you will only be able to use the candle ones until you unlock the other stations in this event
Can’t find your arts and crafts stations?Click on the craft station in your event tab to get the option to find your station, it will take you to the house where your stations can be found!
Place a crafting station (find the candle station in the events tab of buy mode (or your inventory)- you can only buy 4)
Make some arts and crafts items (click on the candle station to make)- 23 seconds
This takes you to the prize progress tab (you can get to it by clicking on the hotel button in the corner of the screen)
Here you will see you have collected enough items to unlock the Path of Discovery pack! When you unlock each pack, before the items are available in your home store you need to purchase them with the arts and crafts items you make- this goal is coming up!
Restock a crafting station (when the stock runs out you will have to restock before you can make anymore arts and crafts items)- You can restock instantly for 18 uses for 10SP or restock for 2 uses which will take 10 seconds this time
Buy the Path of Discovery pack (click on the hotel event button, scroll down and click purchase- this will cost you 50 candles)
Use a coin flower patch (buy the coin flower patch from the event tab and select the spin plant option)
Check the daily goals (click on the drinks event button and find the daily goals tab- claim the ones you can!)
Remember to claim your rewards each day!
Collect bonuses (while collecting after a certain amount of time you will see the arts and crafts item appear above that sims head, click to collect the bonus item!)
Continue collecting arts and crafts items- this is the last step but the event is not over, keep collecting the arts and crafts to unlock everything!
If you want to speed up a collecting arts and crafts action it will cost you SPs, you will get the bonus arts and craft items as well if you speed it up!

26.Holiday Condo-you can only claim this pack if you have purchased all the other packs in this live event
Once you complete the live event and claim this pack you will find the Holiday Condo on the Sea Voyage Boat in Simtown. Your sims cannot live at the Condo but they can visit and stay there for a holiday, you can also completely edit the condo and even add more floors.
You also unlock the Silver Seafood Platter (S130,000) which can be found in the decorations section
I love the idea of this, it is great we can edit the condo and it doesn’t take up a house lot but I am disappointed because most of the items in the condo are 1 star. In this event we unlock 1 star and 3 star of most items so why couldn’t we have had the more expensive 3 star items in the condo?
Watch my tour of the holiday condo here:
The Urban Furniture Event is back for 8 days from the 23rd September! To get all the furniture you need to complete the woodworking hobby collection 7 times. You get a furniture pack at random each time you complete it, once you unlock a furniture pack you get to keep it even if you don’t find them all. If you have never done the woodworking hobby click here for details.
If you completed this event last time it was available you will not get it this time, if you got some of the furniture sets last time you will only have to collect the ones you have left so if you completed it 4 times before you will only have to complete it 3 more times in 8 days
You need to buy a woodworking bench from the promotions r us store to complete this hobby (or use the ones at the community center)
You need to firstly accept this quest, it will remove the woodwork pieces you have already created from the collection so you don’t get a head start.
If you say no you can start it from the goal tab, if you start this late you won’t get any extra time
Once you have said yes you have to complete the collection 7 times in 8 days (not easy to do!)
YOU NEED TO COMPLETE ALL FOUR ROWS TO GET ONE FURNITURE PACK!!
TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:
-have more than one sim working on it (the shortest option is 5 hours so have as many sims as possible trying to complete this)
-have at least one sim at level 6 or working on getting to level 6 if you haven’t done the hobby before so all pieces are unlocked then you can just keeping doing the 5 hour option over and over- they should level up quickly while the event is taking place! -remember to click start new collection on the woodworking hobby collections list once you have got all the pieces so you can find them again -don’t panic! They will probably bring it back again if you don’t manage to complete it this time, these events usually reappear a lot!
-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.
