LIFE DREAMS AND LEGACIES QUEST – CARNIVAL: JUGGLING STAGE – TEEN AND ADULT SIMS – PRIZES: CLOWN SHOES, FACE PAINT AND 3LP

Once you complete the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest you will be able to use orbs to build the Carnival, once the Carnival is built one of your teen or adult sims will be able to complete this hobby on the juggling stage.

When they click on the juggling stage they will select the option:

Juggle Pins- 30 minutes

When you start you will only have this first option, you need to find all 3 different pin moves to complete the first row in the juggling collection to unlock the swords option, you then need to find the 3 sword moves to unlock the rubber chickens option and find the 3 rubber chicken moves to unlock the final option which is flaming torches to find the last three to complete the collection

Juggle Pins- 30 minutes
Juggle Swords- 1 hour
Juggle Rubber Chickens- 2 hours
Juggle Flaming Torches- 4 hours

NOTE: only one sim can do this hobby at a time

Once you complete the collection for the first time you can select any option in any order but you will still need to do each option to find the different moves to complete each row

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the juggling collectibles in that row. You still level up in this hobby but the hobby level up percentage isn’t important as the juggling collectibles don’t unlock depending on your level, when you finish a row of juggling collectibles you will unlock the ability to find the juggling moves in the next row.

The table below shows you the level up reward that your sims will receive when they level up in this hobby:

You won’t find a new collectible each time, you will get repeats, if this happens just keep going, you will find them eventually! If it is still taking too long you can use the lucky spin on the row where you cannot find the item, this will cost LPs, when you click on the LP button it will clear the row and give you a random collectible on that row so you aren’t guaranteed a new item (you will get back any other collectibles you already had in that row) Need to earn some LPs to use the lucky spin?

The completed juggling collection is shown below, once you complete the collection you need to click ‘start a new collection’ at the top of the hobby collection screen, this clears the board so you can complete the collection again to earn more rewards (you will only get the option to restart the hobby collection when you have completed the collection):

The first time you complete a row you will unlock a new option to find the next row of juggling moves, further times you will earn XPs when you complete a row in the hobby but to complete the collection you need to find all 12 of the collectibles

The rewards for completing this collection are clown shoes, face paint and 3LP:

The first time you complete the juggling collection you unlock clown shoes (in the shoe section of the wardrobe) and face paint (can be found in the head section of the wardrobe)

From the second time onwards each time you complete the collection you will earn 3LP

LIFE DREAMS AND LEGACIES QUEST – BEACH: SEASHELLS – TODDLER AND PRETEEN SIMS – PRIZES: EARRINGS, HATS AND 6LP

Once you complete the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest you will be able to use orbs to build the Beach, once the Beach is built one of your toddler or preteen sims will be able to complete this hobby by clicking on the seashells washed up on the beach:

This is my least favourite hobby, just because you have to do this at different times of the day to find all the shells, the night ones are the worst as night starts at midnight! I will not be doing this hobby again.

You have to come back at different times of the day to find all the shells:

Night- 10 minutes (between 12am- 6 am)
Dawn- 1 hour (between 6am- 12pm)
Noon- 2 hours (between 12pm-6pm)
Dusk- 3 hours (between 6pm-12am)

Each option will unlock two rows of shells in the hobby collection:

From the second time onwards each time you complete the collection you will earn 6LP

The Sims Freeplay- Quest Queue

The quest queue is very helpful if you want to see what quests are coming up in the game, they will only appear in the queue once you are on the level for the quest to unlock, so Need for Steed will only appear in the queue once you are on level 11+

NOTE: You still have to complete the quests in the order they appear in the queue so you can’t choose which quest to do next

Where is the quest queue?

Click on your goal tab (active tasks button)
Underneath the quest goal you will see a number in a green box, that number is how many quests are in your queue
Click on it to see more details on the upcoming quests

This will show you how many quests you have before you can do the one you really want to do, remember all quests have to be completed in order and you can’t skip a quest.

The Sims Freeplay- The Sunset Mall Quest

LEVEL UNLOCKS: 12 UNLOCKS: the mall TIME LIMIT: 7 days PRIZE: burger bar

To begin this quest you need to build the mall, you can find it on the right hand side in simtown. If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the burger bar. You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock the mall but you won’t get the burger bar

You cannot complete this quest at the same time as any other discovery quest

HOW LONG DOES THIS QUEST TAKE TO COMPLETE?

Times may vary depending on the star rating an item has.

Send a sim to the mall
Buy something from the mall store (click on the store icon in the entrance)
Send a sim home
Invite a date to the new mall- 8 minutes (click the interaction between two sims)
Summon courage on a couch- 12 hours 30 minutes

Invite a date to the new mall- 5 minutes
Send 2 sims to the mall
Investigate strange noise- 10 hours 30 minutes
Introduce your sim to the robot- 10 minutes
Leave the mall
Have 2 sims watch the news- 4 minutes
Ask another sim to return to the mall- 2 hours 30 minutes (select interaction between two sims)
Remind sim about shopping- 3 hours 30 minutes (select interaction between two sims)
Watch self defence on TV- 11 hours

Send 2 sims to the park
Have a sim go running- 9 hours 12 minutes (click on thinking man statue)
Send 2 sims to the mall
Clear boxes- 2 hours 30 minutes
Talk to robot- 25 minutes

Suggest a prop- 2 hours 40 minutes (select any option)
Suggest an animal- 5 hours 30 minutes (select any option)

Perform an act- 7 hours 31 minutes
Talk to a sim- 15 minutes (the sim is standing outside the mall)
Shut down the lasers (switch off red button on wall- 1 minute)
Distract the robot, you need to do two things to complete this goal:

1. The correct object is Wind up dog– 5 hours 30 minutes

Then once that task is done you need to click on the lasers again (switch off- 2 seconds)

Investigate the robot- 15 minutes

Oh and he is a toddler– that wasn’t obvious at all!

Investigate the robot head- 10 minutes
Build a new store- 1 hour S1,000

Browse new store (click on store icon in entrance)
Cheer with another sim- 1 minute (interaction)

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

The entrance to the mall now needs to be cleared before you can unlock the next areas (including the Catwalk Model Hobby) My Guide to the Mall shows you what needs cleaning in the mall, how much the stores cost and what clothes you unlock in each store!

Prize: Burger Bar

Is the prize worth it? Yes, I think it is- otherwise you have an empty space on this level of the mall!
The burger bar is located on the middle level of the mall above the ground floor you have already opened.

NOTE: you need to click on the upstairs button at the mall to get the option to build the burger bar. If you can’t see the button you need to have a sim go to the mall. Click on a bench on the left side upstairs as if you want that sim to “rest from shopping.” The icon should appear now.

What can you do with the bar?

Adults can have burgers (wait for burger- 1 hour) have a sim serve at the bar (10 hours) so that sim can have a burger- 10 minutes

Teens can have burgers but also milkshakes at the bar (wait for milkshake- 10 minutes) if you want them to have a milkshake you again need a sim serving and then 2 sims sitting at one table as they share the milkshake.

You can now complete the Pretty Little Planters Discovery Quest

Does the time limit start when I click to build or once the building has complete?
Once it has finished building the quest and time limit will begin

Why can’t I do this discovery quest yet?
You cannot do more than one discovery quest at the same time, if you are currently on another one (the list can be found here) you will not be able to do this one until that one is completed

Can I do discovery quests at the same time as a main quest?
Yes you can

Do I have to do this quest?
If you don’t start building the mall you don’t have to do this quest at all but if you have already started building or started this quest you need to complete it before you can move on to the next quest

I haven’t started this quest yet, will it still be available when I want to do it?
Yes it will be, you can choose to start it whenever you like

How do I distract the robot?
Click on the wind up dog then once that task is complete click on the lasers

My game will not recognise I have completed the leave the mall goal, what should I do?
Try and have all your sims not doing any action, this sometimes makes the game recognise you have completed that goal

What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
The burger bar at the mall

I can’t complete construction on the burger bar, why?
You need to click on the upstairs floor button at the side of the screen to see the next floor at the mall

What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the mall before you can move onto the next quest

I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests

Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one now that you have started it, if you don’t start building the mall you don’t have to do this quest but once it is built the quest will begin

Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal

Some times are really off/ different goals show for me, why is this?

The Sims Freeplay: How do I have so many LPs?

I constantly get asked this question, “how do you have so many LPs? I don’t have any!”

The one word answer: Cooking!

The cooking hobby is the best way I have found of making a lot of LPs very quickly, some people seem confused about how this works so I will be explaining exactly what I do in this post.

Firstly you need to complete the Bread Winner Quest to unlock the cooking hobby

Then you need:

Sims– as many as possible, you can have 1-10 in one house, obviously the more you have the quicker you are going to complete the collection
Oven, Toaster and Counter for each sim– if you have 6 sims, you will need 6 ovens, 6 toasters and 6 counters (TIP: if you have a toaster on a corner counter and it cannot be accessed by any sim you only need one toaster in the house for all sims to use)
Space– I use an empty house with all sims in one room, they are spaced out in their own workspaces with an oven and toaster on the counter, just so another sim doesn’t get in their way and cause them to cook a meal without getting a collectible- this can happen if they are squashed together. NOTE: you don’t need all your sims in one house, I just do because it is easier

Next you need to start cooking!

The one minute option, cheese and tomato on toast is the one you want to select

So click on the oven, click cooking and then on cheese and tomato on toast, it costs S5 each time but you get a lot more simoleons back when you find a new item.

Every time you make a dish a plate is left on the floor, I clean each one up after each dish is made, otherwise the house will be full of dishes and it really slows down the game.

TIP: If you have no sinks in the house, they will take the plates to the trashcan. A quick way to get rid of the plates is that if you kick over the trashcan the plates will just disappear OR if you store all the doors and remove all sinks from the room then the plates should disappear!

Black circle under plates– if a black circle appears under your plate this means you have so many plates in one pile so when you clean up it will take you several goes at cleaning (as you have so many plates to clean up) before the black circle will gradually decrease and the plates will disappear.

TIP: to save time click clean up, then cancel the action when they bend down to pick it up, the dish will disappear and you save some time!

Once you have completed the whole collection you will get 5LPs (you need to complete this hobby once to unlock chopping boards before you start earning LPs when you complete it) with lots of sims you can complete this collection in under an hour!

Make sure you then click restart collection before another sim finishes making the dish

Each row you complete you get an XP reward:

1st- 750XPs

And a reward for each time you level up:

Level 2 Hot Mess Maker= 250XPs
Level 3 Ready Meal Maestro= 500XPs
Level 4 Home Cooking Hero= S750
Level 5 Flavor Savior= 10,000 town value
Level 6 Hail to the Chef= 1LP

Once your sim gets to level 6 cooking it is a good idea to put them onto a different hobby for one go at that, I use the ghost hunters hobby as it is quite quick too, then I go back to cooking to start from level 1 again.

This means you will get more money, XPs, town value and an LP for levelling up to level 6 again.

Don’t worry- going back to level 1 doesn’t mean they will just find level 1 items as you have unlocked them all now!
