Completing this quest unlocks the ability to age your baby sims to toddlers! If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the dress up chest for your toddler sims. You can still complete this quest once the time is up but you won’t get the dress up chest prize

- Watch sunflower street on TV- 8 minutes 6 seconds
- Change a diaper- 21 seconds
- Expand or change a room
- Buy a dollhouse from the children’s store- costs S7,000
- Have a fancy coffee- 5 minutes (if blue footprints appear read this post)
- Study geography on a globe- 9 hours 30 minutes
- Contemplate life at the lake- 6 minutes 48 seconds (click on ducks)
- Ask statue in park for advice- 2 minutes 24 seconds
- Stare at the park statue- 3 seconds
- Get serious advice from the park statue- 7 hours 30 minutes
- Dance to a stereo (completes straight away)

You can now age your babies into toddlers using a birthday cake (explained in this guide) BUT YOU DO NOT NEED A BIRTHDAY CAKE TO FINISH THIS QUEST, my Guide to Toddlers explains all about them!

Is the prize worth it? Yes! This is such a great thing to have, you can find it in the toddler section and when placed in the home your toddler can dress as a robot, panda, dinosaur or bee! If you use the chest they walk around acting like the character which is cute but you can put them in an outfit permanently using the wardrobe or costume and swim store

I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 12 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 12?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
I have watched a documentary but it hasn’t completed the goal, why?
You will not be able to complete this goal until you get the goal when the quest starts
Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
The dress up chest
What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the ability to age your babies to toddlers before you can move onto the next quest
I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests

No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

I baked the Rocky Road ahead of time and it didn’t work. I had to do all over again,so I don’t think I will complete in time now.
when you bake something early you must wait until you get the goal before you go to that house, you can’t just leave it on the stove and click on it when you get the goal as the goal completes when you go to the house when it has finished cooking, not when you click on the item.
It took me 8 days to gain enough money to build the pet store 😦 (It cost 150,000 Simoleons and took 1 day 18 hours!!!) But, I don’t see the chest in the Online Store! Why can’t I still buy it?
Have you finished the quest? You need to finish the quest first, then scroll along and it should be there
How do I build the pet store if I didn’t finish the queasy in time??
You don’t need to finish in time, just build it when it tells you to build it 🙂
How do u bathe your toodler I know it has nothing to do with it
You need a toddler and an adult, get the toddler to click have a bath and the adult will help them
Hi! Love your site! I am at level 16 in Sims Freeplay and missed the quest for toddlers, I didn’t know about the tasks right away. Is there anyway to complete the task after it has passed to age my Sim babies?? Thank you!
You won’t have missed the quest, you need to complete them in a certain order, they don’t disappear if you don’t complete them. Look in your goal tab and you will see a queue list and it should be in it
OMG thanks… I just had a new baby. One named Andrew Songz . Then I have one more baby. Named Trinity Songz.. they dress alike. And I’m changing Trinity into a toddler cause she’s older. I made a toddler room for Trinity.. it’s adorbs…
This site is a really big help! It allows me to finish quests so much faster! But right now I’m stuck on this quest but I can’t get the $100,000 for the pet store quickly enough, especially since I only have $68,000. Oh, well. I guess I’ll get the toy chest from the online store. Meanwhile, my sims are working on tomatoes. Hopefully they turn into tomatoes, not those sim eating plants:)

I made the Birthday Cake and the icone is floting above the stove, then I cliked Have Birthday and its is saying bake the birthday cake! What do I do!?!?

The time limit is only for the prize, you can still complete the quest once the time is up
It won’t let me build the pet centre and sunflower street isn’t an option on TV 😦
You can only do these two goals when you get the goals, you can’t start them early

Ok thanks for your blog, I am at level 13 and didn’t finish the quest on time I know you said you don’t have to complete the quest on time to still be able to do it but when I click on the tv it allows me to watch a doc. So I did then I went back in and sunflower tv is not an option. Also when I click on the statue in the park it does nothing… I can change a diaper and watch a doc but not much else! Any help? Any ideas? Also when I look in my active tasks I don’t have anything there that is for the grow a toddler quest……

I’m on level 15 and the Quest for toddlers hasn’t come up yet…I was on the need for steed quest when I hit level 12 and after I finished, the cooking quest came up not the toddler quest. How do I get it?
You have to complete the cooking one first, the cooking quest unlocks earlier than the toddler quest so it will come up first after updating when you complete the previous quest

I on level 21 and I never got the chance to do this quest. Is something wrong with my game!?
Do you already have toddlers? If you do then you started the game before this quest came out and you won’t get it
I know this qustion was asked already but I didnt understand the answer from weightlessmagic. I am building the pet store which has 1 day to build so ive started baking the rocky road ahead of time (12hrs). At what point do I click on the finished icon of the baking to make it count towards the goal.
You do not go to the house before you receive the goal, if you do it won’t count as you don’t need to click on the icon to complete the goal you just have to get there when they finish it.
Hey i want to ask how to put a fire on oven? This is a weekly quest, hope you can help
YOu need to bake something that could cause a fire, for example brownies, it is random though to whether it starts a fire or not so you may have to do it a few times before it catches fire, then you click on the fire to extinguish it
Back to the game after a year I am seeing à lot of nice additions. Luckely I kept my level 31. However, I have not done many of the quests you describe, simply because they did not exsist at the time. Maybe that is why I am stuck at one goal (not quest) where i have to grow baby into à todler. making the baby is not the problem, nor the birthdaycaake, but even if I have the dad bake the cake in their house, even if the baby then switches to à toddler….still I get no recogniton of goal archieved. Now I have 4 toddlers and out of options. I can not skip this goal. Anybody an idea what to do?
This sounds like a glitch more than a problem with you spending so long without playing, for now the only thing you can really do is skip it with LPs, sorry!

You can change her hair colour when she becomes a toddler

Yes from toddler hobbies, the toddler playhouse (unlocked by completing in da clubhouse) and seashell collecting (unlocked by building the beach after completing the life dreams and legacies quest)
Two questions about aging a baby up to a toddler:
1. If you bake the birthday cake in a different house then that baby, will it still age up?
2. When do I tap the birthday cake to age up the baby?

1. Yes once you click on the cake it puts it in storage so you can then go to your baby and select have birthday to age them
2. As soon as its done, but you don’t need to age them straight away after you have made the cake
Oh yah and, do I need to bake a birthday cake for every toddler I age up, or can I just bake one cake and age like, three babies into toddlers?

I am on level 25 and the cake has not unlocked. I understand that this is because i did not complete the quest. I am a little confused because I can not watch sunflower street on tv. I also can not buy a pet or a doll house. I have been really trying to figure this out.

Yes it will begin as soon as you have completed need for steed if you are on the correct level or over
For some reason, my game glitched out, and skipped the “Buy a Dollhouse” quest. It didn’t effect anything else, but I saved a couple thousand simoleans.

What device are you playing on? If it is a windows phone or some androids the game is no longer updated so you won’t get need for steed and some other quests that have recently been added

No you can’t get the dress up chest if you don’t complete the quest in time.
The best tip is any goals that can be started early, start early at a house that you aren’t going to go to, for example bake rocky road can be started in a different house before you need it so you can save yourself 12 hours
How early can I do the tasks in the quests and what tasks can I do early and thank you for that money post you sent its really helpful im nearly half way through and I have pay 150000s in two days and I only have 59000 is it possible? Love you and you blogs there really helpful😃
You can do them as early as you want, just make sure you do them in a house that is out of the way and only go there when you get the goal.
You can do: watch a documentary, have a coffee (don’t really need to do this one early as it doesn’t take that long) and bake rocky road early- I would definitely do this one early.
