This quest unlocks the ability to submit your houses for a chance for them to be added to the architect houses tab so other players can build them! Find the realtor in the park to begin this quest. If you complete in the time limit you will unlock the hot tub, you can still complete this quest once the time is up to unlock the romantic furniture and the ability to submit your houses but you won’t get the hot tub
You cannot complete this quest at the same time as any other discovery quest
HOW LONG DOES THIS QUEST TAKE TO COMPLETE?
Times may vary depending on the star rating an item has
- Ask Lucius about hubbub- 1 minute
- Go to work at the real estate (click on the pulsing suitcase of a sim who is a real estate agent) NOTE: keep them at work so you can see the sign for the next task
- Read a real estate sign- 6 hours 30 minutes (the sign will appear by the mailbox once a sim has gone to work as a real estate agent)
- Discuss home takeover with a sim- 1 minute (select the interaction between two sims)
- Search for well groomed sim on simbook- 9 hours (computer)
- Extend or build a room
- Have a sim take a selfie- 10 seconds (click on currently selected sim)
- Post selfie on Lucius’s simbook- 6 hours
- Become incensed- 2 minutes
- Check fine print on a sign- 12 hours 30 minutes (the sign will appear by the mailbox once a sim has gone to work as a real estate agent again)
- Buy an item from the home store
- Submit house via sign (you don’t even need to submit at this stage, just click on the sign then click the green arrow to complete the task, if you don’t do it now you can submit a house later- make sure a sim is at work as a real estate agent first so you can see the sign)

Where can it be found? In the outdoor furniture section
Cost? S65,000
Is the prize worth it? This quest is really easy to complete in the time limit, as long as you have a sim to go to work as a real estate agent when you need to click on the sign! The hot tub is fairly expensive but I do think it is worth completing in time to unlock it!
If you don’t complete in the time limit you will still receive the romantic beds, seats and fairy lights:
Beds can be found in the bedroom section and cost S17,500 each
Fairy lights can be found in the lighting section and cost S21,000
Romantic seats can be found in the outdoor furniture section and cost S15,00 each

Why can’t I do this discovery quest yet?
You cannot do more than one discovery quest at the same time, if you are currently on another one (the list can be found here) you will not be able to do this one until that one is completed
Can I do discovery quests at the same time as a main quest?
Yes you can
Do I have to do this quest?
If you don’t start the quest you don’t have to do it at all but if you have already started it you need to complete it before you can move on to the next quest
I haven’t started this quest yet, will it still be available when I want to do it?
Yes it will be, you can choose to start it whenever you like
I can’t see the sign to read it, why?
You need to send your sim to work as a real estate agent to see the sign in front of your houses
I can’t find Lucius to become incensed, where is he?
He should appear at the house you are currently at, if not try looking around simtown for him
What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
The hot tub
Why can I only get one sim using the hot tub at a time?
If the hot tub is against a wall or has items around it they will not be able to access all sides to get in
Why didn’t I get a free hot tub?
The hot tub prize isn’t free, it will cost you S65,000
What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the option to submit your houses and romantic furniture before you can move onto the next quest
I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests
Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit
I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one now that you have started it, if you don’t start it you don’t have to do it

When do you get this quest
When you talk to the realtor in the park to start it.
HELP! I went to check the fine print on the sign with my sim Aaron and the sign had disappeared! It wasn’t at the front of my house!!!!!!
Is your sim at work as a real estate agent? You won’t see the sign if they aren’t at work.
Counted and it takes about 35 hours. Need to finish in 48, really want the hottub. Im going to save up lp before i start lol

I’ve bought stuff from the home store and placed it in a house multiple times but it won’t work!!!

This may be a stupid question, but the OC in me has to ask, lol: If you make changes to the house after submitting it, does it change the submission?
No it won’t change what you submit as when you click submit that is what is sent.

I started the quest, but didn’t have any of my sims as real estate agents so I had one employed as one. But, now I can’t do anything until it’s time for him to go to work. Am I doing something wrong?
If you make another sim a real estate agent you will be able to send them to work straight away instead of waiting until you can send the other sim again.
I can’t find the hot tub even though I finished in the time period
Have you checked the outdoor furniture section of buy mode? You do not get one free.
I don’t think I will be able to finish this in time! The option to go to work isn’t showing up. I’ve tried switching careers from other jobs to real estate agent, it won’t work. I also tried aging a teen to an adult then becoming employed as a real estate agent, still won’t work. How can I make them go to work?? Thank you!
Does the suitcase not appear for you to click on to be able to send them to work? If you haven’t sent them already today then it should appear.

I have, but theres only the romantic seats. The hot tub was not found.. 😢
Did you definitely complete it in the time limit? You won’t get the hot tub if you didn’t but you will still get the romantic seats.
I didn’t finish it on time, but I didn’t get the other romantic furniture aside from the hot tub! What should I do?
Have you definitely completed the quest yet? If you have, have you checked the beds section, lights section and outdoor furniture section of the home store not your inventory?
I have completed this quest but i am unable to build an architecture houses
Can you not find the architects house tab? You will find the tab at the top of the list of house templates when you click to build a new house.
I submitted my house but there is no confirmation that my house has been successfully submitted. Does it matter? If yes how can i confirm it?
It should say it has been successfully submitted, if it doesn’t then try submitting it again.

SO I completed my quest on time with 9 hours left and I didn’t get a hot tub, it’s in the store but I didn’t get it?
It’s in the home store to buy with simoleons? The first one isn’t free
Light romantic seat has option to “chat with sim” but
Will not work but all other options work?? Anyone else having this problem

After finished this discovery quest, the real estate work hours changed into 8 hours instead of the original 5 hours. What trick I can send new sims to work in real estate job by 5 hours?
What level is your sim in that career? Once they reach level 4 of the real estate agent career they will go to work for 5 hours, before then they will go for 8 hours.
I finished the quest but the sign is still in front of the house, do you know why?
The sign will always appear when a sim is at work as a real estate agent, this allows you to submit a house.
