Winterfest has arrived on The Sims Mobile! There is loads going on in the 12 days of Winterfest (although oddly it is only available for 11 days!) There is a 6 part quest to complete each day as well as Winterfest events to earn candy canes which can be used to buy Winterfest items and decorations and the more candy canes you earn the more prizes you unlock with the grand prize being Father Winterfest’s outfit!
First Day of Winterfest
1.Complete events to earn 30 simoleons Reward: 50 Candy Canes and 1 Winterfest Gift Box
2.Look for a pear in a floor plant- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy Reward: 125 Candy Canes
3.Complete a short career, hobby or relationship event (complete the begin a friendship event) Reward: 125 Candy Canes and 1 Winterfest Gift Box

- Earn randomly from completing everyday events
- Once you unlock the Winterfest Gifts and place it in your house it will refill over 12 hours earning you 125 candy canes, make sure you click on it ever 12 hours to collect:
Rewards:
- Spend your candy canes to unlock new Winterfest items
- Earn candy canes to unlock milestone prizes
- Spend your candy canes on the Winterfest Gift Box costing 25 candy canes each to earn some more Winterfest decorations (like in the Welcoming Winterfest Quest you will only unlock one colour of each item at a time)

I am quite confused as to how the nutcracker helps you save time. It also says I only have ten days to complete this event, not twelve.
Placing the nutcrackers fills up the bar a bit when you start a winterfest event so you don’t have to complete so many actions and it turns out this event is only available for 11 days not 12 which is strange!
Oooh. I will check out the bar next time I start an event! (You would think 12 days of Christmas would equal 12 days to accomplish it, but I can’t say I’m surprised.) At least, if you use candy canes to buy an outfit, they give it to you in all colors.
Yes it really makes no sense to have a time limit of 11 days for 12 days of goals! If they thought things through a bit more this game could be so good but things like this just let it down.

I have a question on the Winterfest Bonus Box, I purchased it for $9.99 because of the presents that produce more candy canes than the small one you get from the quest. I could swear it said it included 500 candy canes but I can’t find ANYTHING on it. No pictures of what was included nothing. Does any one know what was in it? I got 400 from the Presents O’ Plenty when I placed it, but no others. Also I completed a quest this morning and clicked “yes” on watching the video, when the video was over not only did I not get the bonus for watching the video but I didn’t get the base rewards for finishing the quest.

I think it’s only decorative. Theres 3 levels. 1st 100 baubles 2nd 200 and 3rd for 300.

I have a question? Once we have completed the Farm House event can we still not build porches on our homes we build? Also the rooddesign is so very very expensive. Cost me over 2 mil Simoleons for one home.
