Once you reach level 8 in The Sims Mobile you will be able to begin the Photography Career Quest from the Quests tab to unlock the Photography Career!

You firstly need to complete the ‘Dream of Being a Photographer’ Earn 30 Simoleons task:
Once complete the 4 day time limit for the Photography Career Quest will begin. If you don’t manage to complete this quest in the time limit you can’t try again
There are 18 parts to complete:
1.Capture image of home decor items 5 times- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy each Reward: 25 simoleons
2.Snap some selfies with other sims for practice 3 times- 5 seconds, costs 2 energy each Reward: 25 simoleons
3.Start a friendly story (select make a friendly introduction on another sim and then select begin a friendship, once complete choose the story you want to tell) Reward: 25 simoleons
4.Earn 3 stars at a party (click on the arrow on the side of your screen, the first tab is parties so find a party to attend then complete actions at the party until you earn 3 stars) Reward: 25 simoleons
5.Earn 650 Simoleons (complete events to earn) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
6.Complete 3 Relationship events (complete the begin a friendship event to do this quickly) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
7.Complete the Simstagram Latte Art Event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* (select start event on the sofa to go to the cafe) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
8.Complete 4 standard events Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
9.Complete the Simstagram a Meal Event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* (select start event on the sofa to go to the restaurant) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
10.Earn 650 Simoleons Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
11.Complete the Photo Fashionista Event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* (select start event on the sofa to go to the fashion studio)Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
12.Earn 650 Simoleons Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
13.Complete 4 long relationship events Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
14.Complete an encore of the Simstagram Latte Art Event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* (select start event on the sofa to go to the cafe) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
15.Earn 650 Simoleons Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
16.Complete an encore of the Simstagram a Meal Event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* (select start event on the sofa to go to the restaurant) Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
17.Complete 6 long shifts in any career Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
18.Complete an encore of the Photo Fashionista Event- takes up to 8 hours to complete* (select start event on the sofa to go to the fashion studio)Reward: 25 simoleons and 10XP
QUEST IS COMPLETE!
*the event can be completed quicker than time shown if you complete the actions with your sims during the event
Completing this quest unlocks the ‘High End Digital Camera Family Heirloom’ which you need to place in your sims house (find in the recent tab of your storage section):
Once placed go to the fashion studio and click on collections, the Focused and Fearless collection contains the Photo Studio, buy this and click on it to begin the Photography Career:

I’m having trouble with #8. What is considered a standard event? I have tried hobby, career and friendship events, or so I thought, but can’t seem to get through it.
What does it say when you try a hobby, career or relationship event? Once you have completed so many quick events you will level up and will get the option to complete standard events too.
It is literally called a “standard event” and they are typically around 3 hrs 48 min
I’m stuck on part 10/18. How do I capture a collage of cash with panache?
For part 10 you need to earn 650 simoleons.
What if I ran out of time for the Photography Quest? Will I be able to repeat it?
Yes you should be able to find the quest again in the quests tab to restart it but you might have to wait a few days for it to reappear first.
