The Sims Mobile- Winter Warm-up Event

THIS EVENT IS OVER

This brand new event in The Sims Mobile will begin sometime today (Thursday 17th January) The aim of this event is to earn enough duckies to buy the duckie bags to unlock all the swimwear and backyard items in the 7 day time limit!

How do you earn duckies?

  • Completing the Home Spa Day Event (click on a sofa to begin, every 9 hours)
  • Completing the Spa-Side Snacks Event (click on a sofa to begin, every 6 hours)
  • Completing the Swanky Swimwear Event (click on a sofa to begin, every 6 hours)
  • Complete LlamaZoom tasks to earn 250 duckies each time
  • You can also get them at random by completing hobby, career and relationship events
  • Complete the Winter Warm-up Quest, there are 26 parts to complete:

1.Complete events to earn 25 simoleons Reward: 50 duckies and 1 beach towel

Make sure you place the beach towel to earn 125 duckies every 12 hours from it:

2.Complete get cozy and warm in a bed (click on a bed)- 5 seconds, costs 5 energy Reward: 100 duckies

3.Complete think of warmer times at a mirror or vanity- 5 seconds, costs 5 energy Reward: 100 duckies

4.Ask about Warmest Memory with another sim- 5 seconds, costs 5 energy Reward: 75 duckies

5.Complete an event Reward: 75 duckies and 1 rubber duckie

6.Change your appearance Reward: 50 duckies

7.Complete the ‘Home Spa’ event (click on a sofa to begin) Reward: 50 duckies and 1 rubber duckie

8.Open a Duckie Bag Reward: 50 duckies

9.Give stickers to 5 sims Reward: 25 duckies

10.Complete the ‘Swanky Swimwear’ event (click on a sofa to begin) Reward: 24 duckies and 1 rubber duckie 

11.Complete an event Reward: 25 duckies

12.Earn 650 simoleons Reward: 25 duckies

13.Complete any 5 events (complete quick events to get this done easily) Reward: 25 duckies

14.Complete the ‘Spa-Side Snacks’ event (click on a sofa to begin) Reward: 25 duckies

15.Complete all LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 25 duckies and 1 rubber duckie

16.Complete the ‘Home Spa’ event (click on a sofa to begin) Reward: 25 duckies

17.Collect 1,200 Duckies Reward: 25 duckies

18.Complete all LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 25 duckies and 1 rubber duckie

19.Complete the ‘Swanky Swimwear’ event (click on a sofa to begin) Reward: 50 duckies

20.Collect 1,200 Duckies Reward: 50 duckies

21.Complete all LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 50 duckies and 1 rubber duckie

22.Complete the ‘Spa-Side Snacks’ event (click on a sofa to begin) Reward: 50 duckies

23.Earn 650 simoleons Reward: 50 duckies

24.Complete all LlamaZoom tasks and collect rewards Reward: 75 duckies and 1 rubber duckie

25.Collect 1,200 Duckies Reward: 75 duckies

26.Complete 3 Long Events in any career, relationship or hobby Reward: 100 duckies and 1 rubber duckie

QUEST IS COMPLETE!

Completing this quest unlocks the Backyard Bar:

What do the rubber duckies do? They just seem to be a decoration, your sims can admire them

Buying Duckie Bags

You can either buy a duckie bag for 125 duckies or a golden duckie bag for 50 simcash. You will get an item at random each time, since the individual colour swatch situation you now how to unlock each colour separately which I am not best pleased about- we are bound to get all the colours we don’t want first!

The Sims Freeplay- Groovers ‘N’ Movers 2 Hobby Event

THIS EVENT IS OVER

PLEASE NOTE: this isn’t the same as the previous groovers n movers event as you unlock different activewear but it has the same name!

This event to unlock activewear outfits is back for 6 days. Complete this Player Favourite Event* by completing the aerobics hobby collection 7 times, each time you complete the collection you unlock a new activewear outfit for male adults and female adults.

*What are Player Favourite Events? These are events or quests you opt in to complete for a second chance to complete them, you will be able to start these within an open period date if you haven’t completed it already. These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the event in the active tasks tab to start: When you click yes it will remove the aerobic moves you have already created from the collection so you don’t get a head start.

If you say no you can start it from the active tasks tab, you will not get any extra time if you start this late.

If you haven’t completed the A Grooving Guru Quest yet you will not be able to complete this hobby event as you will not have access to the Aerobics Hobby yet

If you completed this event last time it was available you will not get it this time, if you got some of the activewear outfits last time you will only have to collect the ones you have left so if you completed it 5 times before you will only have to complete it 2 more times in 6 days

YOU NEED TO COMPLETE ALL FOUR ROWS TO GET ONE PACK OF OUTFITS!!

12 AEROBIC MOVES= 1 MALE ADULT ACTIVEWEAR OUTFIT AND 1 FEMALE ADULT ACTIVEWEAR OUTFIT

TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:

-have more than one sim working on it, you can buy up to 14 aerobic steps from the promotions r us store and you can also use the one at the health hub so 15 sims can complete this hobby at once (see the Aerobics post for more information)
-if you don’t already have a sim at level 6 then do the longest option until they level up- they level up quickly in this hobby so it won’t take very long! You need to have a sim at level 6 to find all the moves to complete the collection (if you have previously completed the collection you do not need to get another sim to level 6 to complete this)
-remember to click start new collection on the aerobics hobby collections list once you have got all the moves
-most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.

Prizes: Activewear Outfit Packs

You can find the activewear in the outfits section as well as tops, pants and shoes and also the activewear section so you can mix and match the different activewear you unlock.

If you put them in the activewear they will wear it while completing this hobby!

The total number for sims you can have in your town is 45. This includes all level up unlocks (36), Simdex and Sim Springs rewards (1 each) and VIP Perk unlocks (7).

How many extra sims can I add with VIP Perks?

You can add one new sim at VIP Level 6, 8 and 10 and at VIP Level 15 you can add 4 extra sims so that is 7 additional sims. Read more about VIP Perks here

The Sims Freeplay Levels: I Need Your Help!

Hi everyone, I am currently putting together a catalogue of all the items available in buy mode on The Sims Freeplay including images and how to unlock them (either by levelling up or completing an event) It has been a long process and taken me a few months to get to this point but I am getting there! The issue is I am missing a few of the level up screenshots (see image below) so I don’t know what level some items unlock at

I am missing Level 41 so if anyone does screenshot the level up screens, showing all items you unlock (not just the first lot of items) I would really appreciate if you can email or tweet them to me so I can finish this post:

Complete this 19 part time limited quest to earn 3 Millie Bobby Brown Inspired Hairstyles! This is quite a quick quest and the time limit is 7 days so there is plenty of time to complete it

1.Sit on the couch and write New Year’s resolutions- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy (couch) Reward: 25 simoleons

2.Dream up ways to be kind to others- 5 seconds, costs 3 energy (bed) Reward: 25 simoleons

3.Meet a new sim (select make a friendly introduction on another sim) Reward: 25 simoleons
