The November 2019 Sims Mobile update added 3 new house lots to the game once you reach level 18 and the February 2020 Sims Mobile update added one more house lot so we have a total of 5 house lots in the game. In this post I am going to be listing the prices of the house lots and how much the land expansions now take on all lots (including the original)
House Lots Cost and Waiting Time:
1st lot- original house you start the game with
2nd lot- costs S40,000 and takes 8 hours to build (but you can spend 250 simcash to build instantly instead)
3rd lot- costs S100,000 and takes 2 days to build (but you can spend 500 simcash to build instantly instead)
4th lot- costs S250,000 and takes 7 days to build (but you can spend 750 simcash to build instantly instead)
5th lot (1 Landgraab Avenue)- costs S500,000 and takes 7 days to build (but you can spend 1,000 simcash to build instantly instead) (the cost to build this one doesn’t change)
Land Expansion Costs and Waiting Times:
The cost to clear the land around your house is now cheaper for the original house and different for the other house lots (these 4 new house lots cost the same to expand)
The Grand Garages Live Event is back for 10 days from the 20th November to unlock garage themed items! The aim is to collect enough arts and crafts items from the arts and crafts stations (found in the event tab of buy mode) to unlock all the items in this event.
NOTE: if you did another Live Event then you will find your arts and crafts stations in your inventory (or in the house you left them at) you will only be able to use the candle ones until you unlock the other stations in this event
Can’t find your arts and crafts stations?Click on the craft station in your event tab to get the option to find your station, it will take you to the house where your stations can be found!
Place a crafting station (find the candle station in the events tab of buy mode (or your inventory)- you can only buy 4)
Make some arts and crafts items (click on the candle station to make)- 23 seconds
This takes you to the prize progress tab (you can get to it by clicking on the garage button in the corner of the screen)
Here you will see you have collected enough items to unlock the Dappled Brick Wall pack! When you unlock each pack, before the items are available in your home store you need to purchase them with the arts and crafts items you make- this goal is coming up!
Restock a crafting station (when the stock runs out you will have to restock before you can make anymore arts and crafts items)- You can restock instantly for 18 uses for 10SPs or restock for 2 uses which will take 10 seconds this time
Buy the Dappled Brick Wall pack (click on the garage event button, scroll down and click purchase- this will cost you 50 candles)
Use a coin flower patch (buy the coin flower patch from the event tab and select the spin plant option)
Check the daily goals (click on the drinks event button and find the daily goals tab- claim the ones you can!)
Remember to claim your rewards each day!
Collect bonuses (while collecting after a certain amount of time you will see the arts and crafts item appear above that sims head, click to collect the bonus item!)
Continue collecting arts and crafts items- this is the last step but the event is not over, keep collecting the arts and crafts to unlock everything!
If you want to speed up a collecting arts and crafts action it will cost you SP, you will get the bonus gems as well if you speed it up!

30.Family Garage Home- you can only claim this pack if you have purchased all the other packs in this live event
This house can be built on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free then they cost simoleons depending on how many houses you have already built. You can add up to 4 cars to this house lot!
The other three car parking spaces need to be unlocked by purchasing with simoleons:
Additional Space One: S250,000
Additional Space Two: S750,000
Additional Space Three: S1,500,000
Once you purchase an additional space you will be able to add another car but you need to have more than one adult/senior sim living in this house to add more than one car otherwise it will just switch their car to the new one you have just brought. For example if you wanted 3 cars in this house you need 3 adult or senior sims living in this house.
The only difference between this house on a standard and a premium residence is the garden:
You also unlock the Grey Concrete Paving and Dappled Grey Brick exterior wall with this house template:
I created a house using the items from this live event, watch the tour here:
Constructor Coins
You earn constructor coins by:
Personal Progress prizes
Completing Daily Goals
Coin Plant Patches
Earning Constructor Coins? Previously on these events I used social points on the Mega Spin Plant to win constructor points. I earn social points by completing the cooking hobby and earning LPs, I can then turn the LPs into SPs using the social point plant on a normal garden patch- this was when it cost 5LP- the social point plant now costs 20LP so you may want to try the option below first instead:
Or you can use 450 candles for the Spin Plant (a good way to use up any spare candles) which will also earn you constructor coins but the amounts are less than they are from the Mega Spin Plant
What is the minimum and maximum amount of coins you can earn on the mega spin plant? The minimum is 10 and the maximum is 500
Now on the coin flower patch you can see the chances of getting the different combinations on each spin plant, click on the green i button to see:
Laura Craft? You may have noticed at the front of one of your houses there is a board with a bubble of a person holding arts and crafts items above it, this is Laura Craft, you can buy her for real money to help you complete the event. When you buy her, you select the item you want her to make from the options: 200 candles, 300 pottery, 450 jewelry or 500 glassware (the amounts seem to differ for most of you and I have no idea why that is!) (you will unlock all the options once you have unlocked all the stations) and you will be able to collect them after 2 hours.
Do I think she is worth it? They have improved Laura Craft a lot since the first event (although it would be great if she made constructor coins) she used to be able to collect every 8 hours, they have now changed this to 2 hours so she is more useful now so if you are struggling then you may want to splash out and give her a try but remember you will only get her for this event, you will have to buy her again to use her for a live event in the future. I personally don’t ever buy her, if I don’t manage to earn enough items or coins in the time limit I just wait until the next time the event is available!
If I brought Laura Craft in the last event do I get her for free or do I have to buy her again? You have to buy her again for this event.
THIS IS A PREVIOUS UPDATE, THE SIMS MOBILE HAS BEEN UPDATED SINCE THIS POST WAS WRITTEN
The latest Sims Mobile update (coming out 26th November) is adding 3 new house lots to the game, perfect for players who love to build and decorate houses but hate demolishing them (like me!)
New Town Map
The map looks slightly different, there is no longer the house location, instead there is a house button in the right corner to take you to all the house lots:
Building A New House Lot
Once you reach level 18 you will unlock the 3 new house lots in Briny Heights, the price to build each lot varies (it increases each time you build one):
2nd lot- costs S40,000 and takes 8 hours to build (but can spend 250 simcash to build instantly instead)
3rd lot- costs S100,000 and takes 2 days to build (but can spend 500 simcash to build instantly instead)
4th lot- costs S250,000 and takes 7 days to build (but can spend 750 simcash to build instantly instead)
You will be able to add 12 sims to each house but you still can only have 4 playable sims in total, I really think they should make it possible to change who your playable sim is without having to delete current playable sims from the game
Moving Sims
In Briny Heights when you click on a house you can see all the sims who live there, click go there to visit the house or click on a sim and then on a different house to move them to that house- you can even move out children to live on their own!
Family Portrait
You can now buy more family portraits in the wall decorations section to place in each house. When you click on the portrait you will see each household, click on the arrow to scroll through the households (playable sims will have the plumbob above their head)
You will see previous generations via a button in the corner of this screen but this isn’t separate for each household so you will see all your previous sims here
You can also see the family portrait by clicking on the house name in Briny Heights
Parties
Parties can only be hosted in the original house so make sure you have any party items you want your friends to use in this house
What else is new?
There is no longer the move out option when sims are retired, it is now just delete to avoid confusion
There is no longer a limit/count on objects in build and buy
Energy boosting items don’t need to be in every house, placing in one still gets the benefits in all houses!
I am so glad we can now build more than one house in the game! I haven’t changed my original house for so long as I don’t want to delete it but now I don’t have to! I would have liked to see more than 4 playable sims but I can see why it would be difficult to change that, hopefully in the future there will be an option to at least change which of our sims are playable and I would love to see more neighbourhoods with different themes and new themed items to go with them.
LEVEL UNLOCKS: 6 UNLOCKS: NECKLACE, SHIRT AND 10 FASHION GEMSTIME LIMIT: 5 DAYS
THIS QUEST STARTS ON 16th NOVEMBER AT 10am
Wumples has come from The Sims Freeplay to see what is going on in The Sims Mobile and she has brought with her a new quest Wumples Wishlist! Completing this limited time quest in the 5 day time limit unlocks the poppin’ collars necklace for female adult sims, meet the parents shirt for male adult sims and 10 fashion gems.
This quest is slightly different as it has Chapters, you have a chapter to complete each day, if you complete a chapter within 24 hours you will need to wait for the next day for the next chapter to begin.
