NEW PREGNANCY EVENT
There are new time limited prizes when you complete the 9 day pregnancy event in the time limit and earn the baby bonus between 12th-21st May
If you start the 9 day pregnancy event anytime during the time frame you have the chance of earning the maternity items in that pack if you complete the event in the time limit, for example if you start a pregnancy event on the 21st May and complete in the time limit you will earn the items above
You need to have completed the first pregnancy event in the A Bump-y Ride Quest before you can earn the maternity prizes

The Sassy Stockings Hobby Event (no longer available) will be back on 28th April for 7 days, complete the fashion designer hobby to unlock all the stockings for your feminine adult sims
The Snow Problem Player Favourite Quest (no longer available) will be back between 1st- 16th May, start anytime within these two dates to get the full 13 day time limit to unlock the Snow Chalet template
The Lovely Lattices Live Event (available now) will return on 21st May for 10 days, complete in the time limit to unlock garden themed items and the Lovely Lattices house template

Sim Springs 5: Commercial Court ALL Tasks & Prizes:

The fifth and final neighbourhood in Sim Springs, Commercial Court will be available from 16th April 2024 (with the Modern Ranch Update) the aim of this event is to complete daily tasks to renovate house lots in the new neighbourhood, you will need to have completed the previous four neighbourhoods, Sandy Suburbs,Palm Promenade,Berry Boulevard and Eco Esplanade before you can move on to this one. There is no rush to begin this, it will be available in the future when you are ready to start.

3 of the lots are house lots and the final lot, Grand Springs Hotel is a community lot which once unlocked can still be customised like a normal house lot but your sims cannot live in them. You will also be able to place any item from the dining room section of buy mode in the community lot for free!
The lots need to be renovated in the order listed above, you cannot do up more than one lot at a time and the next won’t unlock until the previous one has been completed. The time limit to complete a house is 10 days (14 days for community lot) with tasks to complete each day in Sim Springs, similar to Downtown Developer Events if you don’t complete in the time limit you will have to pay to be able to move on but there are prizes available, the extra zesty prizes contains a house template that can be placed in Sim Springs or Simtown.
Once Eco Esplanade is complete and you are level 40 or over you will get the task to ‘Build the Road to Commercial Court’ click on the orange Sim Springs symbol on the task or the bus stop in Simtown to go to Sim Springs:
You will see the roadblock sign, click this to get the option to build Commercial Court:
Once built you can build the first house Thoughtful Space, the timer will begin once this house has finished building:
You can skip the tutorial if you remember how Sim Springs events work or you can complete the tutorial if you need a recap:
You can only complete one task at a time, unless it is a build task (buy items etc) then you can complete at the same time as another task
You can complete these tasks in any order
The tasks you need to complete will have the Sim Springs symbol on them:
More than one sim can be used for tasks that require multiple sims
You will need to buy some items such as trees, couches and computers to be able to complete tasks in Commercial Court, if you have a 3 star item at a house in Simtown you can store it in your inventory and place it in Commercial Court rather than buying a new one
Trash cannot be removed until you get the task to remove it
If you skip using SP on tasks that require you to clear up items it will remove those items
For tasks that require you to find items in objects if you use social points to quick complete you can find more
For tasks that require you to spend money you can buy items and then store them, this still counts TIP: I would save building rooms/ basements etc and placing flooring and wallpaper for when you need to spend money
For tasks that require you to place a certain number of items, if you store one of those items already in the house you will need to buy or replace it. For example, if you need to buy 6 windows and there are 3 there already but you store them all you will need to buy 6 windows rather than buying 3 more
Investment tasks are like mastery classes in SimChase, the more you spend, the less time it takes to complete TIP: check how much it would cost to skip with SP it may be cheaper or the same cost as the investment without the wait time
The lower the star rating, the longer a task will take to complete, I have included this in the tables below
If sims are inspired they will complete actions faster, I have also included these times in the tables below
You are aiming to complete the daily tasks within 24 hours, if you take too long you will have to pay to move on
For tasks that require more than 10 sims to complete at once you can spread them out throughout the houses you have unlocked in Commercial Court, for example at Oasis Villa you need to Eat 18 Superfoods from fridges so you can have 10 sims at Oasis Villa and the other 8 in Thoughtful Space
On Homely Heights Day 5 one of the tasks is called ‘Excellent Ideation’ this is the only task that doesn’t say how to complete it, to complete this you need to select the ‘Look for Tenants’ option on a computer:

Do I have to use the House Templates given during the event? No, you can keep the house you have been creating during the event but there is always the option to demolish that house and replace it with the template

The captivating coast live event to unlock coastal themed items is back from the 1st April! If you complete the whole event in the time limit you unlock the Captivating Coast house template. This event is only here for 10 days and the aim of it is to collect enough arts and crafts items from the arts and crafts stations (found in the event tab of buy mode) to unlock all the items in this event. If you completed this event last time you won’t get it again, if you started it last time you will start from where you got to last time
NOTE: if you did another Live Event then you will find your arts and crafts stations in your inventory (or in the house you left them at) you will only be able to use the candle ones until you unlock the other stations in this event
Can’t find your arts and crafts stations?Click on the craft station in your event tab to get the option to find your station, it will take you to the house where your stations can be found!
Place a crafting station (find the candle station in the events tab of buy mode (or your inventory)- you can only buy 4)
Make some arts and crafts items (click on the candle station to make)- 23 seconds
This takes you to the prize progress tab (you can get to it by clicking on the button in the corner of the screen)
Here you will see you have collected enough items to unlock the Shiplap Flooring pack. When you unlock each pack, before the items are available in your home store you need to purchase them with the arts and crafts items you make- this goal is coming up!
Restock a crafting station (when the stock runs out you will have to restock before you can make anymore arts and crafts items)- You can restock instantly for 18 uses for 10SP or restock for 2 uses which will take 10 seconds this time

Each station (apart from the first candle one) comes with a stock of 7 which means you can use the station 7 times before it needs to be restocked (if you got your stations out of your inventory they will all need restocking first (apart from the first candle one) When you need to restock you will have two options:
Restock 18 uses which happens instantly but will cost you 10SP or
Restock 9 uses which will take you 2 hours 30 minutes but will be free
NOTE:
if you store the station you will lose all the stock so when you place it again you will need to restock
if you cancel making something using a station you will lose that stock so if you had one stock left and then you cancelled that action you would need to restock before you can create anymore arts and crafts items

This template can be found under the driveway homes tab and built on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free then they cost simoleons depending on how many houses you have already built. You can add up to 4 cars on a driveway homes lot!
The other three car parking spaces need to be unlocked by purchasing with simoleons:

Once you purchase an additional space you will be able to add another car but you need to have more than one adult/senior sim living in this house to add more than one car otherwise it will just switch their car to the new one you have just brought. For example if you wanted 3 cars in this house you need 3 adult or senior sims living in this house.
The houses are the same on the standard and premium residence, but the premium residence has a pool in the back yard. I really love this house template, I find the coastal theme quite relaxing as I get holiday vibes. I also like that they have created a new location for this template as the desert one was starting to get boring as it is used too much.
The premium residence includes the palm tree area so you could always add different decorations or an extra house to this lot:
Sims can also access the beach across the road from this house! One sim selects wait for splash buddy on one of the four beach towels and the second sim selects splash buddy (toddlers can even do this interaction). Your sims will then splash about in the sea!

Earning Constructor Coins? Previously on these events I used social points on the Mega Spin Plant to win constructor points. I earn social points by completing the cooking hobby and earning LP, I can then turn the LP into SP using the social point plant on a normal garden patch- this was when it cost 5LP- the social point plant now costs 20LP so you may want to try the option below first instead:
Or you can use 450 candles for the Spin Plant (a good way to use up any spare candles) which will also earn you constructor coins but the amounts are less than they are from the Mega Spin Plant
What is the minimum and maximum amount of coins you can earn on the mega spin plant? The minimum is 10 and the maximum is 500
Now on the coin flower patch you can see the chances of getting the different combinations on each spin plant, click on the green i button to see:
Laura Craft? You may have noticed at the front of one of your houses there is a board with a bubble of a person holding arts and crafts items above it, this is Laura Craft, you can buy her for real money to help you complete the event. When you buy her, you select the item you want her to make from the options: 200 candles, 300 pottery, 450 jewelry or 500 glassware (the amounts seem to differ for most of you and I have no idea why that is!) (you will unlock all the options once you have unlocked all the stations) and you will be able to collect them after 2 hours.
Do I think she is worth it? They have improved Laura Craft a lot since the first event (although it would be great if she made constructor coins) she used to be able to collect every 8 hours, they have now changed this to 2 hours so she is more useful now so if you are struggling then you may want to splash out and give her a try but remember you will only get her for this event, you will have to buy her again to use her for a live event in the future. I personally don’t ever buy her, if I don’t manage to earn enough items or coins in the time limit I just wait until the next time the event is available!
If I brought Laura Craft in the last event do I get her for free or do I have to buy her again? You have to buy her again for this event.
Once the event is over it will convert your unused resources into simoleons, the conversion rate is half the amount of resources, for example, if you have 10,000 candles left over you will earn 5,000 simoleons, if you only have 1 of a resource left over you will only earn 1 simoleon. When a new live event becomes available you start from 0 resources
If I don’t complete this event this time will I have to start from the beginning when it returns? No, you will start from where you got to this time!

There are new time limited prizes when you complete the 9 day pregnancy event in the time limit and earn the baby bonus between 22nd March- 8th April

After briefly going missing (again!) Santa is quickly located and back to work but can your sim take his place in the musical of the year and save Christmas? There are 13 sets of goals to complete in the 13 day time limit so there is a set of goals to complete each day from the 12th December, if you complete the quest in the time limit you win the Broadway Park house template
You have to wait between completing each set so you complete one set per day, after completing a set you have to wait for a certain amount of time before being able to continue with the quest (the time varies depending on how long you take) unless you are behind then you will move straight onto the next set once you have completed the previous. You can use social points to skip the daybreak but it is very expensive
Christmas Quest goals have the same symbol so if you are stuck look for the following symbol on objects:
TIP: there are lots of tasks that need to be done more than once, you can use LP to skip all these tasks or you can still use the maximum sims you can to complete the task but remember if you just use one sim you will run out of time (the maximum amount of sims you can use will vary depending on the level you are on in the game)

You cannot complete this quest or earn the prizes once the quest is over
You will find Broadway Park under the driveway homes tab on a standard or premium residence, the first one is free, after that the cost in simoleons depends on how many houses you have already built. A Yellow Cab comes with this house lot, you can add up to 3 more cars.
The other three car parking spaces need to be unlocked by purchasing with simoleons:
Additional Space One: S250,000
Additional Space Two: S750,000
Additional Space Three: S1,500,000
Once you purchase an additional space you will be able to add another car but you need to have more than one adult/senior sim living in this house to add more than one car otherwise it will just switch their car to the new one you have just brought. For example if you wanted 3 cars in this house you need 3 adult or senior sims living in this house.
This house lot is actually a theatre with an apartment on the 3rd floor, the house itself is the same on the standard and premium residence, the only difference is the premium has a park area behind the house. Personally if I were to build this I would build it on the standard residence as the park doesn’t add much to the lot.
I like where this house lot is located, it has New York themed surroundings and I think the theatre idea is great as it is something we don’t already have in the game. I also like that there is an apartment floor in this lot so it still makes sense for it to be built on a house lot.
On both sized lots you also unlock the ice skating rink next to the theatre, your sims can ice skate for 45 minutes or ice skating marathon for 5 hrs 30 mins:
