The Sims Freeplay- The Castle

This post shows you what the castle looks like on the inside and how to issue decrees.

image

Before you can see inside the castle you need to:

  1. Build it
  2. Then complete the Royal Lineage Quest
  3. Once you have completed that quest you need to complete the archery hobby to unlock the royal gallery.

Then you complete the jester hobby to unlock the throne room

Castle Gardens– complete the archery using the targets

Build the statues by completing the archery hobby to unlock the royal gallery

The gallery costs S200,000

The Royal Gallery– complete the jester hobby using the chest
image

Throne Room– complete the jester hobby to build the throne room

The throne room costs S300,000 and takes a day to build

Once built you can access the top floor of the castle:

image

And new royalty clothes become available in the wardrobe

image

Issuing Decrees

Teens and Adults can issue decrees, to do this they first have to be wearing a royal outfit (one that you unlock when you build the throne room)
image

Then click on the throne to issue decrees or rule (they will just sit on the throne for 4 hours)
image

Decrees

They sit and issue the decree for 4 hours, once issued it will come into effect for 24 hours (if you have a decree that isn’t mentioned please let me know so I can add it to the list)

Some are useful like making new friends faster and some are just for fun like snow day!

  • Snow Day- snows for 24 hours
  • Friendship Day- sims will make new friends faster for 24 hours
  • Walk Like Zombies- sims walk like zombies for 24 hours
  • Rainy Day- rains for 24 hours
  • National Hat Day- all sims wear hats for 24 hours (you don’t have to put a hat on each sim, it happens automatically)
  • Lover’s Day- sims will fall in love faster than normal for 24 hours
  • Friendship Day

You cannot cancel a decree, if you want to start a new one while another one is still in progress you will have to speed up with LPs

Thanks for reading!

The Sims Freeplay- Hobbies: Archery

ROYAL LINEAGE QUEST – ARCHERY TARGET – TEEN AND ADULT SIMS – PRIZES: CASTLE ACCESS, JESTER HOBBY AND 5LP

Adult and Teen sims will be able to complete the archery hobby using the targets in the castle grounds once you complete the Royal Lineage Quest.

  • Practice Archery- 7 hours 30 minutes

image

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the archery shot collectibles. Every time your sim practices archery your sims hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once you reach 100% you will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the archery shot collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

This may change in future updates

 LEVEL  Practice Archery
1-2 50%
2-3 25%
3-4 25%
4-5 12%

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS QUEST

please read before asking

How do I start this discovery quest?
Build the castle to start this quest

Does the time limit start when I click to build or once the building has complete?
Once it has finished building the quest and time limit will begin

Why can’t I do this discovery quest yet?
You cannot do more than one discovery quest at the same time, if you are currently on another one (the list can be found here) you will not be able to do this one until that one is completed

Can I do discovery quests at the same time as a main quest?
Yes you can

Do I have to do this quest?
If you don’t start building the castle you don’t have to do this quest at all but if you have already started building or started this quest you need to complete it before you can move on to the next quest

I haven’t started this quest yet, will it still be available when I want to do it?
Yes it will be, you can choose to start it whenever you like

There are no plates in the park to call to a meal, help!
Cook cheese on toast at a house and you will be able to complete this goal

How do I catch the monster fish?
You need to select the option on the fishing rod in the park until you catch it

What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work

What do I get if I complete this quest in the time limit?
Pet fairies

Where can I find the pet fairies?
You can buy them from the pet store

I haven’t built the pet store yet, will the fairies still be in there when I have?
Yes they will

What do fairies do?
They find simoleons and LP like dogs and cats

I have brought a fairy but can’t find it, help!
It will be in a flower by your mailbox growing

What happens if I don’t complete in the time limit, can I still finish this quest?
Yes you have to finish it to unlock the castle before you can move onto the next quest

I didn’t complete in the time limit, can I restart the quest?
No, you cannot redo quests

Can I still get the prize if I don’t complete in the time limit?
No, the only way to get the limited time prizes is by completing the quest in the time limit

I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one now that you have started it, if you don’t start building the castle you don’t have to do this quest but once it is built the quest will begin

Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal

Some times are really off/ different goals show for me, why is this?
This will be because the quest has been updated recently, I try my best to keep these posts up to date but it is difficult as I cannot redo every quest each time the game is updated. If you notice any changes please let me know so I can update the post

This quest unlocks the archery hobby, is there a time limit for this hobby?
No there isn’t

The Sims Freeplay- Visiting Neighbours

In this post I will show you how to visit neighbours in The Sims Freeplay. You need to be level 9 or above before you can access the party boat and start completing social tasks.

Click on the world symbol (flashes to a gift) to access the party boat:

TIP: It is a good idea to have a look at your active goal tab to find out what goal you need to do at a neighbours before you send anyone there, you don’t want to waste time sending an adult when a preteen needs to do the goal.

1.Click on the party boat and find the neighbour you want to visit and click on visit:

image2.Select the sim you want to send there, only a sim who isn’t busy can go.

Remember:

Only one sim can visit a neighbour at once

You can only visit one neighbour at a time

Babies and Toddlers cannot visit neighbours

Completing Social Tasks allows you to earn Social Points

image3.Select the object in your neighbours town to complete the social tasks goal, this will be the only active task you can see while at a neighbours. You can find my list of social tasks here

4.You can now leave your sim at the neighbours town and go back to your town by clicking on the green world symbol with the arrow (they will stay as long as they are busy):

image5.They will show up first on your simtracker back home, there you can click on them to go back to your neighbours:

image6.When your sim has finished the task you will need to go back to your neighbours town to either start them on a new task or bring them home which can be done by clicking the green world symbol while they aren’t busy or by clicking on the house with the arrow in it symbol on the simtracker:

image

When you go back to the neighbours town to see them when they finish a task they will return home if they have been in a neighbours town too long

Frequently Asked Questions:

How long do they stay at a neighbours?
They will stay there about a day unless they are busy or you don’t check on them, then they will stay longer.

Can they return from a neighbours on their own?
No, you need to go back to the neighbours to bring your sim home.

Will my neighbour know I was in their town?
Your neighbour won’t know you have visited them, any action you do in their town will not affect their game.

Help! My neighbours can’t see an item in my town, why is that?
They can’t see it because they aren’t seeing the most up to date version of your game, you need to connect to the cloud for them to see this version of your game.

Do you have a list of Social Tasks?
Yes, you can find that post here!

Unsure of how to add neighbours?

Unsure what items you need in your town for neighbours?

Only have access to Another Sim Town?
Find out what it contains here!
