These are optional so you will need to click on the green play button next to the title of the event in the active tasks tab to start:

QUEST IS COMPLETE!
Prize: HANS Panel and Dishwashers
Where can I find them? The HANS Panel is in the electronics section and the dishwashers can be found in the kitchen section of the home store
How much do they cost? The first HANS Panel is free, after this they cost 15LP each. The Stainless Steel Dishwasher costs S150,000 and the Brown Black Dishwasher costs S26,000
Is it worth it?
HANS Panel- You can use the HANS panel to open and close the curtains/blinds in your house, dim the lights and change the colour of your house lights. I am not really sure what the point of changing the colours is but being able to open and close the blinds all at once is a great time saver!
You can dim the lighting by 25%, 50% and 75%:
You can change the house lights colour to Yellow, Red, Blue and Green:
Dishwashers- It is worth completing this quest in the time limit just for the dishwashers! They are amazing! For all of you who know the annoyance of completing the cooking hobby and having hundreds of plates laying around that have to be cleaned up individually this is a must! Just select load all plates on the dishwasher and they will all disappear!
Once you have used the dishwasher you need to wait an hour before you can use it again:
The Wedding Belles Live Event is back from the 18th February for 13 days, complete to unlock wedding themed items, hair styles, outfits and even a wedding venue house template so your sims can get married in a proper ceremony!
If you completed this event last time it was available you will not get it again, if you started it last time but didn’t complete it you will start from where you got to last time, for example if you only had one prize pack left to buy you will only have to collect enough resources to buy that prize pack to complete the event.
If you didn’t start this event last time you will start from the beginning
This event is only here for 13 days and the aim of it is to collect enough arts and crafts items from the arts and crafts stations (found in the event tab of buy mode) to unlock all the items in this event
NOTE: if you did another Live Event then you will find your arts and crafts stations in your inventory (or in the house you left them at) you will only be able to use the candle ones until you unlock the other stations in this event
Can’t find your arts and crafts stations?Click on the craft station in your event tab to get the option to find your station, it will take you to the house where your stations can be found!
Place a crafting station (find the candle station in the events tab of buy mode (or your inventory)- you can only buy 4)
Make some arts and crafts items (click on the candle station to make)- 23 seconds
This takes you to the prize progress tab (you can get to it by clicking on the button in the corner of the screen)
Here you will see you have collected enough items to unlock the Flower Power pack. When you unlock each pack, before the items are available in your home store you need to purchase them with the arts and crafts items you make- this goal is coming up!
Restock a crafting station (when the stock runs out you will have to restock before you can make anymore arts and crafts items)- You can restock instantly for 18 uses for 10SP or restock for 2 uses which will take 10 seconds this time
Buy the Flower Power pack (click on the event button, scroll down and click purchase- this will cost you 50 candles)
Use a coin flower patch (buy the coin flower patch from the event tab and select the spin plant option)
Check the daily goals (click on the event button and find the daily goals tab- claim the ones you can!)
Remember to claim your rewards each day!
Collect bonuses (while collecting after a certain amount of time you will see the arts and crafts item appear above that sims head, click to collect the bonus item!)
Continue collecting arts and crafts items- this is the last step but the event is not over, keep collecting the arts and crafts to unlock everything!
If you want to speed up a collecting arts and crafts action it will cost you SP, you will get the bonus arts and craft items as well if you speed it up!

34.Wedding Ceremony and Reception (Wedding Venue Template!)
You will only unlock the wedding ceremony and reception if you manage to buy all the other personal progress prizes in the time limit, the first one built is free after that they will cost simoleons. I absolutely love this house, the ceremony space in the garden is elegant, the first dancefloor in the dining room looks beautiful at night and then your sims can party the night away on the second floor!
You can build it on a standard or premium house lot, the only difference is there is a larger gap between the seating for the ceremony and the house. It isn’t often I say this but I do actually prefer the standard one:
In the car dealership you will find:
White, Cream and Two-tone Wedding Limos- 75LP each
You also unlock the industrial grill, fridge (kitchen section) and countertops (countertops section) as well as the wedding instruments and two bars (decorations section)
Decorations: Wedding Bar (S7,500) Low Bar Fridge (S1,500)
Wedding Singer (S10,000) Tear-Jerker (S10,000) Shredder (S10,000) and Crasher (S10,000)
Watch my wedding ceremony and reception tour here:
How do you get your sims married here?
1. Your sims can already be married and still use the ceremony to get remarried or your two sims need to be engaged with the option to get married in the interactions between those two sims
2. Have your guests seated- select watch ceremony on the chairs
3. You will need someone to officiate the wedding, have this sim click on the wedding arbour and select the option to officiate wedding
4. Get the first sim into position, have this sim select wait for partner on the wedding arbour
5. Time to get married! Have the second sim select get married on the wedding arbour
6. A pop up will appear asking what how you want your sims to live in when they are married (this is the sims last name they will take)
7.They will walk down the aisle, stare into each others eyes for a few minutes, kiss and will be married!
8. If your sims weren’t already married a pop up will appear to say they are now married- you can remarry them again and again here (as long as its to the same sim!)
Watch their wedding video here:
Constructor Coins
You earn constructor coins by:
Personal Progress prizes
Completing Daily Goals
Coin Plant Patches
Earning Constructor Coins? Previously on these events I used social points on the Mega Spin Plant to win constructor points. I earn social points by completing the cooking hobby and earning LP, I can then turn the LP into SP using the social point plant on a normal garden patch- this was when it cost 5LP- the social point plant now costs 20LP so you may want to try the option below first instead:
Or you can use 450 candles for the Spin Plant (a good way to use up any spare candles) which will also earn you constructor coins but the amounts are less than they are from the Mega Spin Plant
What is the minimum and maximum amount of coins you can earn on the mega spin plant? The minimum is 10 and the maximum is 500
Now on the coin flower patch you can see the chances of getting the different combinations on each spin plant, click on the green i button to see:
Laura Craft? You may have noticed at the front of one of your houses there is a board with a bubble of a person holding arts and crafts items above it, this is Laura Craft, you can buy her for real money to help you complete the event. When you buy her, you select the item you want her to make from the options: 200 candles, 300 pottery, 450 jewelry or 500 glassware (the amounts seem to differ for most of you and I have no idea why that is!) (you will unlock all the options once you have unlocked all the stations) and you will be able to collect them after 2 hours.
Do I think she is worth it? They have improved Laura Craft a lot since the first event (although it would be great if she made constructor coins) she used to be able to collect every 8 hours, they have now changed this to 2 hours so she is more useful now so if you are struggling then you may want to splash out and give her a try but remember you will only get her for this event, you will have to buy her again to use her for a live event in the future. I personally don’t ever buy her, if I don’t manage to earn enough items or coins in the time limit I just wait until the next time the event is available!
If I brought Laura Craft in the last event do I get her for free or do I have to buy her again? You have to buy her again for this event.
Once the event is over it will convert your unused resources into simoleons, the conversion rate is half the amount of resources, for example, if you have 10,000 candles left over you will earn 5,000 simoleons, if you only have 1 of a resource left over you will only earn 1 simoleon. When a new live event becomes available you start from 0 resources
If I don’t complete this event this time will I have to start from the beginning when it returns? No, you will start from where you got to this time!
The Oh So Ombre Hair Hobby Event is back from 16th February! To get all 32 hairstyles for adult sims you need to complete the fashion designer hobby collection 8 times in the 7 day time limit. You get 1 hairstyle in 4 colours each time you complete the collection (find all 12 fashion pieces), once you unlock a hairstyle you get to keep it even if you don’t find them all.
You need to buy a fashion studio from the promotions r us store to complete this hobby
You need to firstly accept this event, it will remove the fashion designs you have already created from the collection so you don’t get a head start.
If you say no you can start it from the active tasks tab, you will not get any extra time if you start this late.
If you already have a sim as a level 6 fashion designer (or previous have) then you will complete this a lot quicker as you aren’t waiting for all the designs to become unlocked. It is really helpful to have loads of sims doing the hobby, and have them doing the 10 minute option over and over if possible!
YOU NEED TO COMPLETE ALL FOUR ROWS TO GET ONE HAIRSTYLE!!
12 FASHION ITEMS= 1 HAIRSTYLE
TIPS FOR FINDING THEM ALL IN THE TIME LIMIT:
Have more than one sim working on it
It is easier if you have all the sims in one house, maybe build a room for them so they are all together but you don’t have to!
If you can, do the 10 minute option over and over, you will find the most designs this way (once you have a sim at level 6)
Have at least one sim at level 6 or working on getting to level 6 (maybe do the 12 hour option) so all designs are unlocked (if you have previously completed the collection you do not need to get another sim to level 6 to complete this)
Remember to click start new collection on the fashion hobby collections list once you have got all the pieces
Most importantly: just keep going! I know it’s annoying when you get the same one constantly but you will eventually get the ones you need.
Hairstyles
Each time you complete the collection you will unlock one hairstyle in 4 different colours:
You cannot earn these hairstyles if you don’t complete in the time limit
The Embrace the Fro Hair Hobby Event will be back for a limited time from 1st February! To get all 32 hairstyles for female and male adult sims you need to complete the fashion designer hobby collection 8 times in the 7 day time limit. You get 1 hairstyle in 4 colours (4 for females and 4 for males) each time you complete the collection (find all 12 fashion pieces), once you unlock a hairstyle you get to keep it even if you don’t find them all. (if you completed this before you will not get this event again, if you didn’t finish it last time you will start from where you got to)

The game maximum level has increased from 55 to 60! But instead of just needing experience points (XP) to level up you have other requirements that need to be completed before you can level up such as adding sims, constructing buildings and completing quests:
The level up requirements will vary depending on how much you have already completed, if you have completed all quests, development sites (downtown developer, sim springs and super yacht) and community lots (e.g. campgrounds, castle or mall) the tasks will be to complete careers, hobbies and professions. If you are unsure what a task is asking you to do click the (i) symbol next to that requirement:
TIP: If a level up requirement doesn’t complete when it should try visiting a neighbour and returning home, it sometimes completes the task.
The green place marker button will either take you to a location or show you what quest you can complete next:
If you have already completed everything in the game you will only need XP to level up.
