- Find the mysterious island on a globe- 1 minute 30 seconds (the globe can be found in the decorations section for S10,000)
- Download bridge schematics on a computer- 6 minutes 18 seconds
- Post bridge schematics using post box- 1 second
- Call construction team on phone- 11 minutes
- Watch ‘found’ on TV- 17 minutes
- Drink herbal tea- 2 minutes (using a teapot from the kitchen section) (if blue footprints appear read this post)

Is the prize worth it? The prize is a statue for the garden, it’s unusual and I like it but I wouldn’t worry too much if you don’t complete in time as it doesn’t do anything.

I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 10 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 10?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
How do I download bridge schematics on a computer?
Buy a computer in the game and select the option
Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work

My game is stuck on level 10, why is this?
Once you reach level 10 your game needs to download additional content, this link explains what it is but it doesn’t say how to do it, I’m guessing your game should do it automatically. If you still can’t progress you may need to contact the makers to see if they can fix this for you.

The bridge took me 30hr instead of 12hr to build. You should also mention the price to build is 20,000 🙂
It does say times may vary, it depends how many buildings you have built. And I don’t put the prices on because they can vary too.

You need to turn the teapot around so that your sim can access the right side of it!

The baby will go to the toilet when they need to, their hygiene will be low when they have gone
if your babies hygiene is low then you click on the baby and click on one of your Sims and have the ubaby’s diaper changed that will take care of the bathroom problem

hi there. i don’t have many simoleons. i don’t want to buy the globe. if i don’t finish this task, is the statue the ONLY thing i miss out on? will i still be able to get over to the island and build on it, including houseboats? also. how do i sell neighbours items for simoleons? i read something about being able to get free items from the store depending on how many neighbours you have, and then selling the items.
If you dont buy the globe you wont be able to progress in the game, if you don’t finish in time you won’t get the statue but when you get the money to buy the globe you need to if you want to complete future quests
You can’t do that neighbour thing anymore as they have changed the neighbour points system since then
okay, so the only thing i’m missing out on by not finishing this quest within the time frame is not getting the statue? i’ll still be able to use the mysterious island? i’m not too concerned about WHEN I buy the globe…I can do it a bit later in the game once I have some more simoleons…

Hi, I’m trying to find the free button in the store so I can get lps
Also, when you purchase a new hairstyle or earring or makeup in the salon for your sim do you have to pay for it again when you need to use it or where can I find stuff I already bought from the salon?
I think they may have removed the free LPs button to be annoying!
When you buy new hairstyle and earrings you have to wear it when you buy it at the salon, you can’t store it for later use or put it on more than one sim at once. So if you want two sims to have purple hair you will need to buy them both purple hair

The bridge isn’t free but the price does vary that’s why I didn’t put it on there because everyone moaned that it wasn’t the same for them 😛 it varies depending on how many buildings you have built- just save up as much money as possible beforehand, and make sure you start some goals early that you can, that will make up for some time you may waste waiting for the bridge to build
Where do I find the swing set? Plus I bought the life point lotus but I still can’t plant it. How annoying!
The swing set is in the toddler section I believe.

I read the quest chain. So I bake crossiants earlier (at the beginning) before it says “bake crossaints”. and after I bake, I keep the crossaints on oven. after it says “bake croissaints” I poped up the balloon. and it didn’t work 😦
you should have stayed away from the house until you got that goal, the goal will complete when you go to that house when its done not when you click on the bubble. you will have to do it again, sorry
I am so confused. I am at level 11 and I was never asked to do any of these tasks to be able to unlock the bridge. Is it because I am still working on the baby task? I am building the children’s store right now. It says available at level 10 so I don’t understand. Any help please?
Also, one task that I had to skip earlier was to have a preteen call grandma. I couldn’t figure out what I was supposed to do when I don’t even have any children yet. So how was that supposed to work?

This is just one of the weekly tasks, they are random, once you unlock everything you will be able to do all of these goals but for now you may just have to skip some
I by mistake exited on the mysterious island quest. How do I get it back so that I can do it. I’ve spent ten minutes looking for a way to bring it back.
You cant stop the quest, look in the goal tab, it must be there
how long does infant turns to toddler?
You have to bake a birthday cake then click on your baby, then press ‘Have Birthday’
If I make the croissants before the quest will I be credited for the task when the time comes.
If you make sure you do it in a different house and don’t go there until you get the goal

It should take a day to build the bridge
Well if you add up all the times it takes to do each goal it will give you a time, in future you could always start some of the tasks you can usually do early, like reading the big book of stuff 🙂

Click on the letter box at the front of your house plot (the one that gives you your daily reward)

On the right hand side of your screen at a 2/3 story house you will see a circle button that will have a picture of levels and have a 1 in it, you need to click this to view upstairs 🙂 and again if it’s 3 story and then again to go back down

I already bought it and finished the quest; I just wanted to know if I should keep it
it would be useful keeping it in your inventory just in case they make a new quest that needs it
Can you help me? I unlocked this original monument no problem and have since been playing for a while (unlocked the bingo hall, stables on mystery island too). I’m at lvl 35 so technically should have unlocked all the other monuments. However, I can’t seem to collect resources for them? When I select them it has the tick but I can’t select anything like “Unlock” or anything, much like if a quest is required to unlock it. However, from searching online I can’t find anything about anyone else having this issue and there doesn’t appear to be a quest for each monument. Riches of Terra is at lvl 9. Does it need to be at a certain lvl before the others unlock? I presume maybe lvl 25 since they all need to get to that to unlock the volcano? Help!
All the other monuments should be unlocked by now, but I have heard other people having this problem. It sounds like a glitch, I think EA know about this problem but it may be useful to contact them yourself so they know that quite a few people need this sorted out!

I am asked to drink herbal tea from teapot but there is no teapot available yet I am in level 16 and it’s not available to level 18! Im gonna miss the bonus for not getting it complete…am I missing something?
There is a teapot avaliable, there may be a higher star rating one still locked but there will be a one star one which is in the kitchen section, next to the microwaves and costs 500 it is called budget boiler

Next to the toilets at the beach there is a shower, if you haven’t built the beach yet you won’t be able to do this goal and you will have to skip it with LPs

Second, I am on this quest right now. I wanted to let you know that for me, to download the bridge schematics took 11 minutes, I used the letter box aka mail box to post them and it took 1 second, and now my sim is on the phone with the construction crew and it’s taking 15 minutes. Not sure if the time varies depending on the computer and phone you use or if it’s changed.
