Completing this quest unlocks the swim center and the ability to build swimming pools in your sims gardens! If you complete this quest in the time limit you will unlock the volleyball pool set. You can still complete this quest once the time limit is up to unlock swimming pools but you won’t get the volleyball net

- Build the swimming center- time and cost varies (need more money?)
- Send sim to swim center
- Admire the slide at the swim center- 4 seconds
- Look at diving board apprehensively- 1 minute
- Ask wumples for advice- 6 minutes (rabbit at door of swim center)
- Supervise in lifeguard chair (completes straight away)
- Use a diving board- 10 minutes
- Look at pool slide apprehensively- 10 hours 30 minutes
- Be nice to a sim- 1 minute
- Use the slide- 2 hours 50 minutes
- Splash a sim in the pool- 10 seconds
- Flip a sim in the pool- 4 seconds
- Chat to a sim while in the pool- 4 minutes
- Talk to wumples- 30 seconds
- Talk to wumples again- 3 minutes
- Use the slide- 2 hours 50 minutes

Time Limited Prize: Volleyball Net
Is the prize worth it? Its nice to have but once you unlock the teen mansion you get a volleyball net in the pool anyway!
Where can I find it? In the pool items tab of the outdoor section.
Cost? S2,500
You unlock swimsuits after completing this quest, you need to build the costume and swim store then you will be able to buy them (these aren’t all of them!):
You also unlock the special pool items in the online store, the dolphin pool pack and the automatic pool cleaner, both of these can be purchased with real money:

Yes you can, build the costume and swim store then you will find them in your wardrobe

Hi. Can you please help me out?? I can’t seem to get first set of diving collectibles although I’ve tried all the diving board actions. It’s been 3-4 days and I can’t get the middle (rare) medal. 😦 Please help.
You just have to keep at it, there isn’t any way to speed it up, if you can just do the 10 minute dive for a while and hopefully you will get it quickly but rare ones are harder to find

So should I use the slide?? I don’t want it messing up my game, so does it like, break it maybe?
They seem to have fixed the issue now so it should be okay to use 🙂
I didn’t see it mentioned here yet, but during the run fake errands task, if you follow the truck around town, every 5 seconds the truck will beep and dispense simoleons in increments of 5-25 or about once an hour 1 LP. I didn’t follow the truck for the whole 22 1/2 hours, but I did collect quite a bit.

I had three sims use a diving board and they each got a different medal then I got the next goal complete the first set of diving collectibles and it didn’t complete and I don’t know what I should do
Find the second row and it should complete the goal 🙂

How much is the swim center so I can start saving up?
It varies, I can’t give you an exact price as it depends on how many buildings you have already, if you have loads of buildings its going to cost lots!
Is there anything you can start early? For example, can you have another sim use a vehicle in the swim center park while you are looking at the pool slide apprehensively?
Nope, you can’t start any of the tasks early, as they aren’t tasks you can usually do
Do I have to build the Costume & Swim Store, in order to complete the “All Going Swimmingly Quest”? I don’t have it built yet and I’m worried the Swimmingly quest will require my Sims to change into a swimsuit and I will not have one. I don’t have Simoleons to waste on building the Costume & Swim Store, right now. I’d prefer to hold off on building the store, if it’s not necessary for the Swimmingly quest. Thanks!

Yeah I’m on that quest right now also I’m playing on my iPad Air & for me it was an extra quest, I’m on level 13 & I’m on the mysterious island & my regular weekly & social tasks.. it wasn’t a mandatory quest like the rest I had the option to play it or deny it, I was really hoping you had help for it !! lol I love your blog & all your help !!!!

Agree that this quest is far too long. Good thing the prize isn’t that great (though I still really hate to fail at a quest). I did the math for my particular case and even if I had all the money to begin contruction on the swim center when the timer went off (I was shy by a couple hours) I would still need nearly 1 more FULL day to complete on time! So at least in my case, there was never a way to finish this in time without using LPs, which I won’t do. Thanks for your posts. They really help!
Yep, there’s no way I could finish it on time either. My swim center took 44 hours to build. I added up the rest of the tasks and even if I did everything right on time I would need about 36 more hours!!!!
Lol my swimming centre cost 150,000 simoleans and I only had 40,000 😛
It doesn’t matter tho cos the prize isn’t that good anyway.

No you won’t need it, you don’t get it free if you finish in time anyway

If I am not mistaken you get the volley ball net with the teen mansion anyway which i believe is given free upon complting the town sign to level 3. Im not rushing this task just going to use the week to build the cash and catch up building and clearing stables etc. Great site and blog, thank you for providing us all with your excellent tips and advice.

Oink, this quest took WAY too long! I didn’t even finish the quest yet! My 6 days were up when I didn’t even finish building the swim center! If I was producing the quest, I would put it for about maybe 12 days.

Hi there, i cant seems to find the volleyball net option to purchase after my quest finishes. I didnt manage to complete the quest on time. Does it means i will not have the option to purchase the volleyball net? I dont see it in home store nor online shop.
they have removed all items you could have won by completing quests in time from the online store, but to be honest with you I wouldn’t waste real money on the volleyball net anyway 🙂

Also, superivising in pool chair was 6 mins 30 seconds I think – not long anyway.

=s by my math, it’s impossible to finish this one in time, even if I’d had the money at the start! Not including building time, it’s 102.75 hours. Swim center will need 44 hours for me. So best case, it would 45 minutes over 😦

If you got all 3 before you got the goal it won’t recognise as done, you need to find the next 3 for it to complete.

Yes they will.
I agree, this quest is to long and impossibly to finish on time. But in a way this is a good thing because the prize is not worth spending LP’s I can take a pause on the game before starting the next quest. With work, holiday and school I need a good break with electronics. Love your blog, it has helped me in game. To know what’s coming ahead before My quest is done, I can save money and prepare my time.
Please forgive me if this has already been addressed. On the goal where you have to dive for all 3 medals, can I use 4 sims to try and speed it up?

Geez, is it even possible to complete this in time? I saved up before starting this quest, so was able to immediately start building the swimming centre as soon as the quest begun… but, it’s going to take 2-3 days to build. Is there actually enough time to complete all the other tasks after that in 3-4 days?!
Its a tight quest, you might need to use some LPs to get it done

Hi, I let my sim go swimming before I made them look at the slide apprehensively and now when I click on the slide it won’t let me do that anymore. What should I do?

I finished the Swimming Quest and the option to build a swimming pool shows up in the Home Store tab but it won’t let me build a swimming pool for some reason. I tried creating a pool but it keeps showing up red instead of green :[

This quest is soooo boring :/, too tight to get the price and even when I realised I won’t finish on time, still feel I’m loosing my time with the “fantastic” actions (like to hide in the toilet for 24 hours)
