This quest unlocks the ability to age your toddlers to preteens! There is no time limit for this quest so I would recommend you stay on this quest for a while and save up some money for future quests

Version One
Times may vary depending on the star rating an item has.
- Build Simtown Elementary- price and time varies (need more money?)
- Purchase a study desk- costs S700 (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Purchase a preteen bookshelf- costs S4,000 (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Read Harriet Putter- 4 hours (preteen bookshelf)
- Read ‘Everything You Need To Know’- 5 minutes (preteen bookshelf)
- Buy a preteen bed (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Buy a trampoline- costs S3,000 (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Celebrate the trampoline- 7 minutes 12 seconds
- Make cheese and tomato on toast- 1 minute
- Watch a movie on TV- 1 hour 40 minutes (can be started early)
- Ask advice from the thinking man- 19 hours 30 minutes (statue in park)
- Be rude to the thinking man- 57 seconds
- Play sims on a computer- 48 minutes (can be started early)

I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 15 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 15?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
Why are there two versions of this quest?
Some quests have two versions, as when the makers have updated the times for quests they haven’t updated them on all devices so some players still get the old times
I can’t afford simtown elementary, how can I earn more simoleons?

Can I build the elementary school early?
No, you cannot build the elementary school until you get the goal in this quest
I already have one of the items it wants me to buy in this quest, will I have to buy them again?
Yes you will do, but don’t buy them before you get the goal
Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
How do I make cheese on toast?
Select cooking on a stove, make sure you have a toaster at that house to use or you will not be able to make cheese on toast
What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work
I have played the sims on a computer but it doesn’t complete the goal, why?
Are you sure you are playing the sims, not sim city?
I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one
Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal
Some times are really off/ different goals show for me, why is this?
This will be because the quest has been updated recently, I try my best to keep these posts up to date but it is difficult as I cannot redo every quest each time the game is updated. If you notice any changes please let me know so I can update the post

The nanny quest began when I aged a baby to a toddler, can I age a toddler to a preteen to get the quest for preteens?

Do you need a cake to make them into pre teens?
Yes, once you bake a cake you can then click have birthday on the toddler and they will age to a preteen
I noticed that if you delete a baby’s parents, they will be able to be adopted by another Sim. If I age that baby up to a preteen, will I still be able to do that?
Yes you can adopt a preteen if their parents are deleted
When I got o buy mode and click on the preteen section, the beds don’t come up. I tried looking in the bedroom section but they’re not there either, why?
Are you on that goal yet? You won’t be able to buy the bed until you reach that goal in the quest.
Can you start the thinking man part early?
No you can’t start that part early
It’s telling me to play sims on a pc but nothing happens after I have completed the action. I’ve repeated this 3 times already. I even bought the Pebkac pro. What am I doing wrong?
Have you tried using a different sim to complete this?
