This quest unlocks the ability to age your toddlers to preteens! There is no time limit for this quest so I would recommend you stay on this quest for a while and save up some money for future quests

- Read Harriet Putter- 4 hours (preteen bookshelf)
- Read ‘Everything You Need To Know’- 5 minutes (preteen bookshelf)
- Buy a preteen bed (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Buy a trampoline- costs S3,000 (DO NOT BUY EARLY)
- Celebrate the trampoline- 7 minutes 12 seconds
- Make cheese and tomato on toast- 1 minute
- Watch a movie on TV- 1 hour 40 minutes (can be started early)

You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 15 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 15?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
I can’t afford simtown elementary, how can I earn more simoleons?

Can I build the elementary school early?
No, you cannot build the elementary school until you get the goal in this quest
I already have one of the items it wants me to buy in this quest, will I have to buy them again?
Yes you will do, but don’t buy them before you get the goal
Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
How do I make cheese on toast?
Select cooking on a stove, make sure you have a toaster at that house to use or you will not be able to make cheese on toast
What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work
I have played the sims on a computer but it doesn’t complete the goal, why?
Are you sure you are playing the sims, not sim city?

No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one

No there isn’t a way to turn off ageing, you could just not do the quest but you won’t be able to do future quests
Hi I got a free birthday cake once I had finished the quest for toddlers, it still took 24 hours to make but it didn’t take 5lp which is fabulous! Anyway will the same thing happen upon completing the other life stage quests, for example my next one is preparing for preteens, will I be able to age 1 toddler in to a preteen for free?:)

How do I build sim town elementary?

then you need to make sure you meet all the requirements and click build.
I have been trying to build the elementary school. You say it is the first step to the oreteen quest. But when ever I tap on the school to build it, it tells me I have to complete the Preteen quest. Same thing with when I try to give my baby a burthday to make him a preteen. Am I missing something? Did I read your blog wrong?
Are you on the preteen quest yet? If not, you won’t be able to build the elementary school until you get the goal to do so
Perhaps it is because I am playing Freeplay on an Ipad so I can ‘t build the elemetary school as you have instructed? Are you playing on a computer, Ipad or phone of some sort?

I am way past the level for the Preteen quest but it has not started. What is supposed to come before it? I did the quest so I can get a baby for my married couple. Now what?
In da clubhouse comes before it, you have to complete quests in order, look in your quest queue to see what quests you still have to do.
All I have going in my quest tasks is The Hidden Unicorn, the weekly and the social task. I can’t find a nieghbor with a podium so I can’t do the practice auction. Not going to waste points to skip it. Did that before and 2 quests later it was back.
You have to complete the hidden unicorn quest and then in da clubhouse before you can do preparing for preteens.

I’m not on this quest yet, but does it cost LP to age a toddler, and if so, how many? I’m guessing it will be a lot, these people and their LPs!!
It will cost 5LPs to buy a birthday cake to age the toddler, there is a post on this site about birthday cake ageing if you need help when you get there 🙂

I think you haven’t played this game on a windows phone. Since there many quests mentioned in your blog which doesn’t even appear in the game. Take for instance the quest to unlock the stables & also the preteens quest is unlocked at level 13. So you should play this game on a windows phone too.
I’m not made of money, i cant go out and buy every device the game is played on.
Windows phones are no longer updated, this blog is kept update for those who have the latest version, there isn’t much I can do if they stop updating a device.
I’m on windows too. It is different but I’ve been using her site for specific quests that I’m on. It still helps to know what I’ll need before quests start.
Oh wow, your elementary schools are really cheap! Mine is costing 150,000s !!! Taking an age to save up, I have a few unemployed planting every hour, or 2hrs if I’ll be busy. Amd planting over night, I have 19sims I think now, and about 15 go out to work during the day.
Apart from buying the money bundles, is there any tips to buold money quicker? Or I am doing it about right? Ha!

He shouldn’t lose it because a teen can still dive but you will need a teen to do the teen idol hobby for a quest so if you want him to stay a diver you will need another teen to do the teen idol hobby when you get there

You havent missed it, they appear in a certain order, you need to complete previous quests before you can access it.

I hardly ever comment on blogs, so this is a big deal for me. Thank you SO much for all of this! I come here daily and read these and I have for a while. It helps me so much because sometimes I can plan things out better. Like if I have a task that’s 12 hours long, If the next task takes 9 hours, I start the next mission a little over 3 after I start the first one. I found that a good way to get lp faster, is to have 3 Sims driving in cars at the same time. Then just collect the music notes. I do this 4-5 times per day (it gets boring lol) and usually get 2 or 3 lp per day. I’m so torn because I’m level 29 and I only have 1 toddler. I need more babies but the people are so much faster and can make more money! Anyways, thank you so much for this and keeping it updated!!!

If you have done the bread winner quest another good way to make Lps and money is by doing the cooking hobby, you can get that done pretty quickly just by doing the one minute option over and over, I hope that helps!

It depends, it is usually around 20,000 but it can vary.

Which next quest are you talking about? Because I checked the next couple of quests and there is no specific info about toddlers there.
It says you need a toddler for the next quest, then below it has a link to the next quest, the sous judgemental quest, you need a toddler to make a mud pie.
what does it mean on sims free play when it says you cant start building elementary school because sorcerous supplies is already under construction in sim town?
It means you need to wait for the Sorcerous supplies store to finish building before you can start to build the elementary school
Is 200,000 the highest amount of money for stores and if it is will it start over with the lowest amount because I do not want to have to pay 1,000,000 simoleons to purchase a store
No that isn’t the highest amount, the price depending on how many buildings you have already so if you don’t want to be paying that much for buildings stop building unimportant places until you have built all the important places for quests.

I don’t think you are doing anything wrong, this sounds like it may be a glitch, maybe you should contact EA to see if they can fix this issue.
