This quest unlocks the teen high school so you can send your teens to school! After you have completed the quest you will need to build the high school before you can use it. There is no time limit on this quest so don’t rush!

- Cook Double Smoked Pulled Pork on a BBQ in the park- 20 hours (can be started early) [inspired: 18 hrs 32 mins]
- Bribe Ducks with Caviar (in the park)- 11 hours 30 minutes [inspired: 10 hrs 56 mins] (TIP: use a toddler and the task will only take 5 minutes! [inspired: 3 mins 48 secs])
- Be Inconspicuous on a Park Bench- 2 minutes 42 seconds [click blue skip button to complete instantly]
- Get Promoted to Level Two Politician (again completes straight away if a sim is on or passed level 2)

You now need to build the high school to be able to send your teens to school
Simtown High can be found next to the Elementary school, once built you will be able to enrol your teenage sims at school. The option will be locked to enrol if you haven’t built it yet:

You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 19 before you can start this quest

What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work

Just a quick comment. I’m sure others have told you but just in case, the Higher Education quest follows the Teenager quest. At least on my game. I was on the teenager quest when the pirate one became available and when I finished it the next quest was the Higher Education. Thank you for all you do. I love your site.

What if i didn’t build the park…yet?
You must have built the park, in the first quest you have to build the park.
so if i use my toddler to bribe the ducks with caviar it will work and only take 5 minutes?! 😮

Do you have to cook the double smoked pulled pork on a BBQ at the park? Just wondering because I have a BBQ at one of my Sims’ houses, and it takes around 17 hours to do it there versus 20 at the park.

I completed the quest but when I try to enroll my teen it says the school is locked. I tried giving someone the teaching career but it didn’t help. Is there anything I may be missing?

How much was the sim town high?
I can’t remember exactly, about 25,000 I think.
I just called the mayor and according to your blog I have to bake a caramel slice so I already started that this morning so I wouldn’t need to wait so long. However the game tells me that I have to let a sim take a deep sleep now. Maybe it’s new or they changed the quest? Anyway the sleeping comes after the “call the mayor” with me. Maybe after this I need to bake the caramel but I don’t know yet. Thought i’d let you know.
Probably, things do change when they update the game, I don’t know if they change things in previous quests because I just play the game like everyone else

Is the school for teens a cheap (eg.20,000) or expensive building (eg.325,000)
I think its quite cheap but I can’t remember exactly
Maybe it changes depending on your phone, just like which quests are available? For me, on this quest, I was to bake the 10hr caramel slice after calling the mayor. I have had to skip quests before that I don’t have, but this is the first change during a quest I’ve had 🙂

hello. I have a quick question. Once you complete this quest and are ready to build the high school how much does it cost? I am asking because I am still working on the teenagers quest and I am taking my time because I am trying to earn and save up money and LPs for the next few quests. I’m sure building the highschool is going to be very expensive especially since this last update and how EA has been screwing us over at least in my opnion. I can’t get my teen to high school. My politician is a mayor so can go no higher. Completed the pirate quest. Next one in queue is Seniors. The school is built so no idea why can’t enroll-it’s not even an option like some here say they are getting times. Your is my go to site to get questions answered. Great site.
Have you built the high school or have you just build the elementary school? As you need the high school to send a teen to school and elementary for preteens.

I think it is level 25
the monument increases your skill level in a hobby so if you got 6% each time you did a hobby you might get an extra 2% from the monument so you level up faster
I’ve built senior school. But i still cant enroll my teen to school. It is unlock. I’ve completed my teen quest too. And now i am in pirates’ quest. What should i do to unlock my teen to school?

I built my high school and am now halfway through the next quest (pirate) and it still will not allow me to enroll either of my two teenagers. I keep getting the ‘locked’ message.
I also tried to see if my current teacher could quit the elementary school and then work for the high school, but it appears there isn’t an option for that distinction.
Maybe this is a glitch? The other posters on here with ‘locked’ high school enrollment seem to have not built the school, but I have.. And I’ve finished the quest, And I’ve ‘clicked’ on the school since being built… I appreciate any thoughts 🙂

So this game has been on my iPad for like years lol but I don’t always play it(I get bored of it and leave it then after a year or so I remember it then return back to it then get bored and so on) and that has pretty much caused me a problem, because as I started playing it again I could not remember much of what I had did the last time I played it, the last thing I remember is getting to the “call the mayor” goal, and when I returned to the game the “call the mayor” goal was gone…I have no idea what happened and why the goal was gone.
The thing is, only now that I’ve returned to the game and reached level 24 have I realized that my teenager isn’t going to school,so I opened the career and education box scrolled to where my teen is and it was written there that the sim is “not enrolled” , I clicked on the graduation hat symble and it says that the school is locked! How can I unlock it? There are no guests regarding the high school

Is this the final quest so far without a time limit? With school starting again on Monday, I’m trying to decide if I want to stop here for a while and build up simoleons and lps and continue leveling up so I don’t miss out on potentially cool prizes because I ran out of time in future quests or if I can just push through. I’m already at level 34 and behind on like 8 quests and I can imagine there will be more surprise quests with each holiday this semester.

If you use a toddler it takes 5 minutes to do this task instead of a day.

I just aged a toddler to a pre teen and will age her to a teenager when I get done with that quest. Are there different desks for teenagers? Are they better? I’m trying to figure out if I should get her a desk now or wait until I can access the teen desks. Thank you so much!
There are different desks but a teen can now use a preteen desk so save your money and just use that one 🙂
I’ve used life points to skip the deepsleep goal and now I am on announce grand opening so I pretty sure the call the mayor doesn’t exist anymore

Not sure if anyone had mentioned this or if it was just a glitch in my game, but for “deep sleep” task, I had a teenager power snoozing and when he woke, it counted it as my “deep sleep”! What a pleasant surprise!

unless they are timed quests they will always been available, if you want to do this quest you have to complete previous quests before you can do this one, it hasn’t disappeared.
I had a new sim who was unemployed and gave them the politician job and sent them to work. Is that considered starting a new career? It hasn’t completed the task yet
Yes, it will complete the goal if you gave them the job once you got the goal.

its the same duck, you need a toddler to click on the ducks to get the 5 minute option.

I have a question, not sure if there’s an answer. I have built the secondary school and have a teen attending there. One of my adult sims is a teacher at the elementary school, but I can’t get a teacher into the secondary school – the only option for teaching seems to be at elementary level. Any ideas? I’m a little concerned my teen is running wild with no supervision in school – though to be fair, she hasn’t attended much, having been sidetracked for some time by a certain pirate! 😉
