This quest unlocks the ability to age your preteens into teens! There is no time limit for this quest so I recommend you take your time and save up some money for future quests

- Be nice to Osiris- 1 minute
- Grow Onions- 7 hours (can be started early)
- Be Nice to Osiris- 1 minute
- Read the Big Book of Stuff- 19 hours (can be started early)
- Watch a Movie Marathon- 8 hours (can be started early)
- Bake Chocolate Pudding- 2 hours (can be started early)
- Talk to a tree on a housing lot- 5 hours 30 minutes
- Grow Potatoes- 2 hours (can be started early)
- Be Nice to Osiris- 1 minute
- Be Inconspicuous on a Park Bench (go to the park and click on a bench)- 2 minutes 42 seconds
- Bake a Birthday Cake (costs 5LP)- 1 Day (can be started early but stay away from house until you get the goal)

I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 18 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 18?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
What do you mean when you say a goal can be started early?
Any goal that you can normally do can be started early because you will have access to it and any goal that you can’t normally do you will have to wait until you get the goal to be able to complete it
The tip with this method is to put the sim doing that action early in a different house that you cannot go to until you get that goal or it will not work
Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
Blue footprints appear when your sim cannot access an item you want them to use, you need to either rotate the item or move an item that has been placed in front of it so they can use it
I don’t like this quest! Can I just skip it?
No, you have to complete this quest before you can move onto the next one
Some times are slightly different on my game, why is this?
Times may vary depending on the star rating of the item you are using, as the higher star rating an item has the quicker you will complete a goal
Some times are really off/ different goals show for me, why is this?
This will be because the quest has been updated recently, I try my best to keep these posts up to date but it is difficult as I cannot redo every quest each time the game is updated. If you notice any changes please let me know so I can update the post

I have done the teenager quest and baked the birthday cake but when i say have a birthday on my preteen it tells me that if i age my preteen i loose progress from the school. Now he is A+++ level 10 when will they be ready to age?
You can still age them, it just asks you if you are sure you want to age them even though they are at this level, just click yes and they will become a teenager.

How do I find the housing lot?
A housing lot is any house you have in your simtown.
Where do I find one? Do I need to buy empty lot?
Where do you find a house or a tree? You will already have a few houses in your simtown so go to one of those, if there isn’t a tree there then I have already said that if you don’t have a tree you can find one in the trees, plants and flowers section of the home store.

Do you have to bake a birthday cake if you already have a cake ready to use ??
Yes, you will need to bake another one to complete this quest.

Nothing, you just complete the task
If I had already made a birthday cake, do I still have to make another to complete the quest?
Yes you will need to bake another one to complete this quest.
Hi! I want two teens to get married as adults. Is there anything I can do when they are teens? By the way, your blog is soooooo helpful!😄
There isn’t really anything you can do as teens because when they become adults they will go back to being a friendship rather than a romantic relationship so I would just wait until they are adults

I’ve bought a birthday cake at the store. Can I use it without having to bake it again?
No, you still have to bake the cake, you have just brought the recipe for it at the supermarket, when you click on a stove it will say you have 1 cake free to bake as you have brought it already.
For the higher education quest does it matter if you build the high school in town or the one downtown i don’t wanna waste simoleons
You need to build the simtown high school, not downtown high.

For new updates they send me the early access version so I can complete new quests and events before they start in the game and create posts to help you all, everything else I have completed myself and then I update the posts by replaying the game from the beginning when I can 🙂

Anyway, help! I cannot work out how to grow onions as my preteen is not allowed. I have started the teenager quest on the assumption that I have done the previous quests required beforehand. I had a look through your quest list I don’t know what my mistake is ( besides just finding out from the above comments that my precooked birthday cake is quite useless) :0/

Preteens cannot use the garden patches but you can complete this task with an adult sim, only tasks that say to use a preteen have to be completed with a preteen, otherwise it is usually best to use an adult.
Oh no! It won’t be useless though as you will still be able to age a sim with it later 🙂

I am stuck on the talk to a tree part of this quest. I can’t get my sim to talk to a tree.
Are you on that goal yet? You won’t be able to do this until you get the goal.

I have heard this from a few people now so it must be a glitch, I have let the makers know so hopefully they can fix it soon.
I’m on the Talking to a Tree task but my Sims keep showing a cross out when I try to get them to talk to a tree. They just won’t do it. Is this a glitch in the game? Thank you for your help site. I’ve taken so long to get to these quests. I gave up for a while, but I came back to it.

I am stuck on the grow onions. I grew them once for the full 8 hrs and nothing happened so I grew them a second time and used lp to finish and still nothing. Any advice?
