In a place of everlasting winter, kindling lies dormant. As a fire ignites and the room fills with light, the lost page shall appear where the elephant’s trunk is raised day and night. Upon this page, the most ancient password will allow the goddess to finally rise.
HINT: there are two parts to this, you need to go to the snow park to do something (IF YOU HAVE THE SNOW PARK YOU CAN DO THIS YOURSELF BUT AS THE ANSWER IS IN THE PICTURE BELOW YOU DON’T NEED TO BUILD THE SNOW PARK) then in the second place you will find a parcel (the bold words may help):

I have missed this quest! Why can’t I start it yet?
You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 19 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 19?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
How do I visit the island?
Click on the mysterious island bridge, this will take you to the island
How do I call my sims to the community center?
Go to the community center and click on the whistle next to a sim who isn’t busy on the simtracker, this post explains more about the simtracker
Do I need a teen to complete this quest?
Yes, your teen has to complete most of the goals in this quest, you will not be able to complete these goals with an adult

Are you sure you sent a teen and not a preteen, teenager is the stage after preteen

I’m on the “road to fame” quest. Do I have to complete it before I can start the pirates quest?
yes you need to do the road to fame first
What exactly are the salon items? After finishing the quest, I only have dreadlocks with a bandana and an eyepatch for a male and female sim as well as some new tattoos. There are no new clothes or separate items, such as just an eyepatch or just the dreadlocks. Did mine glitch?

I don’t have a teen yet. If I delay updating the game for a few days do you know if I will still have 7 days to complete from the date I update it or has the clock already started ticking for this quest? I’m halfway through multi story renovations quest so I can get a teen after one more quest! Thanks for all the work you put into this site, its the most useful one I’ve found!
Seeing as you aren’t on the quest yet, don’t panic! You have to complete the teenager quest before you can get a teen anyway after the multi story quest and then as the last task is bake cake you can age a preteen (make sure you have one of those during the teen quest) so you can age them straight away, you won’t lose any time on the pirate quest and yes you will have 7 days from when you start it 🙂 I hope this helps!

Ok I’m on the part with the first clue in the park, after I look at the journal. I don’t see where I search for clues, but when I click the pirate I have 4 options. Does anyone know what happens if I select the wrong option or how I search for clues? Will I proceed if I select the wrong choice?
I don’t really want to tell you the answer incase it ruins it for others but the riddle tells you what to click on in the park (stone man, surrounded by knights and kings (chess)) and the clue makes the answer obvious 🙂

So what I do is to click on the “thing” to get answer?
Click on the thing and it will say search for clues, it will then tell you a clue once the 2minutes is up and then you will know the answer 🙂
It’s multiple choice so if you somehow manage to get it wrong, presumably you just spend another 8 hours trying a different answer.

If you choose the wrong answer then that’s 12 hours that have been wasted and you then have to choose another answer and hope it’s right. Hope that helps.

Great i had my 5 sims at the meeting held in the community centre plus the sim holding the meeting at the podium. Then i go to the snow park to put my other sim back on her 6hrrelaxing skate it crashes then ive lost all my sims jobs or tasks i put it back on and im2hrs away from finishing the meeting but they r all doin nothing plus all the others ive given jobs to are doin nothing. How can people do a task to get things wen this constantly happens x
I would stay away from the snow park until you have completed the quest, the snow park makes my game crash too so I don’t use it
I had trouble with my game crashing and all my sims being booted out of the tasks they were doing. I read on the internet somewhere that someone had figured out to do the following and it has worked for me every time. Now I hardly ever crash but I still do occasionally and this still works for me. As soon as the game crashes and your booted out of the game, go back into the game and “tap to continue” on the Welcome back screen, “tap to continue” on the Sims update screen, then IMMEDIATELY close the Sims Freeplay app. Back all the way out and then close the app completely down without doing any work with any of your sims. (I use an iphone, so I swipe the app closed.) Then you can open the app again and play as usual. I’m not sure why this works, but it does. It is not fun to have to back in and out again, but it is WAY better than losing all your current tasks and it will help you finish your quests on time. Have fun!

Please give more details regarding the teen playing a sea chanty. I can’t get any teen on any keyboard or piano to do it and it won’t let you skip it.

I just don’t get the trading part. To build the statue and upgrade it you need 1 gold, emerald and ruby each time. To get them, you must trade…like…400k simoleons, 20SP and…you guessed it. 4 of one of the jewels. Do those even drop? Cos otherwise it’s just impossible to do..
I don’t think it would ask you for the gems to get the gems, are you sure it isn’t a resource that you need to build another monument?
I have a teen but nothing is coming up for this quest. I have the pet paradise update and am on the seniors quest. Is there a trigger of some sort to start it?
You need to complete the senior quest first, then you will get this quest

there is a blackboard at the community center, as shown in the picture in the post.
Sometimes when I open the game, a window pops up telling me to “get started” with this quest. I’m too scared to click on it, does it make the quest timer start automatically? Because I’m still on the preteens quest and obviously don’t have a teen yet.
just click the x in the corner, it won’t make the quest start automatically though as you have a few quests to complete first, you will get it after the higher education quest 🙂

First a big thank you. Without your blog this game would be too frustrating to play. I have completed the pirate quest. It said pirate ship will be available. I see the bubble and got my first gem, and declined the message in a bottle. Is this what is meant by the pirate ship is available?
yes the pirate ship is for trading, you trade items you use for the monuments for gems to be able to build the ancient goddess monument 🙂
