HINT: there are two parts to this, you need to go to the snow park to do something (IF YOU HAVE THE SNOW PARK YOU CAN DO THIS YOURSELF BUT AS THE ANSWER IS IN THE PICTURE BELOW YOU DON’T NEED TO BUILD THE SNOW PARK) then in the second place you will find a parcel (the bold words may help):

You cannot miss main quests they have to be completed in order. You need to complete all previous quests (list can be found here) and reach level 19 before you can start this quest
Can I complete this quest even though I have passed level 19?
Yes, you just need to complete all previous quests then this quest will start automatically
How do I visit the island?
Click on the mysterious island bridge, this will take you to the island
How do I call my sims to the community center?
Go to the community center and click on the whistle next to a sim who isn’t busy on the simtracker, this post explains more about the simtracker
Do I need a teen to complete this quest?
Yes, your teen has to complete most of the goals in this quest, you will not be able to complete these goals with an adult

Are you sure you sent a teen and not a preteen, teenager is the stage after preteen
I can’t find the piano/podium/blackboard that I need to use, where are they?

Very thorough and informative and the people who read it and comment have also been helpful. I’m currently working on the Pirate Quest. I have completed all of the Arcade and Beach orbs, my Entertainment orbs are just being finished and I am also working on my Pet orbs. I think my only frustration with the game is the use of the age related object tasks in the weekly tasks because I don’t always have a toddler, preteen or teen, so I wind up using LP’s to complete. Thanks again. Just wanted you to know I refer to it often.

I have been playing this game for awhile and I have to say your blog helps me a lot! I am in level 21 and just finished the quest” the road to fame.” But there is no long hair style option I can find in my salon, only pirate style came up after I finished the pirate quest, so I want to ask which quest you completed then you got those long hair options? I have only been playing since August. I hope they do the holiday quests every year… It would be fun to decorate and I hope I am not penalized for having just started.

You can’t use a preteen for this quest, you need a teen to do any goal that says ‘have a teen..’

Hey! I’ve just started this quest after reinstalling from my iPod i was still on an older quest so only just made my way through to this point – could you email me the answers?? So that when I do get to the point for the riddles if I do get stuck I can check it out? I only have a couple of LPs so I’m trying to avoid having or needing to use them as I may not have enough to do so if that’s the case :S

No it doesn’t, the quest says click on the goddess monument near the beach on the mysterious island, you don’t click on the beach.
